Greta stands at five feet and three inches, and weighs about one hundred and twenty pounds. Her dirty blonde falls down to her rib cage, and although it is moderately damaged and unkempt, the locks match nicely with the female's pale skin. She was born a brunette, but even her mother agrees that the lighter color suits her more. The female sometimes tries to cover her hue with makeup, but her love for exaggerated black eyeliner cancels out her attempts. Usually, Greta only adds to her lips and eyes, as she is fortunate enough to not have many blemishes. The female has a slim build with larger breasts that she has a love-hate relationship with. Greta's eyes are a deep blue, but they can seem lighter in the sun. Her fashion is limited to denim, layers, dark colors, and usually a touch of lace. Greta loves to wear short bottoms and will only cover her legs with one of her many pairs of black lace tights. However, as a person who is easily cold when others feel fine, she adores jackets; sometimes she many even wear three or four layers on her torso. Greta pretends to keep to herself, but she is always aware, listening and watching everything around her. She is friendly for the most part, but she usually won't speak unless she feels welcomed. The girl has a talent for keeping busy and adapting to whatever situation she is put in. When she is comfortable and happy, she may grow upbeat and outgoing, but she also views this side of her as a weakness. She tends of over-analysis things and make judgement about everyone, but fortunately she does not share these brash opinions. Greta could simply be described as... interesting. Her personality can change depending on the situation or she could simply radiate anxiety and awkwardness. Around school, she was almost always quiet and assumed to be rude and selfish.

BACKGROUNDS
Greta grew up in a rather large family consisting of three older biological siblings and two younger adopted siblings, so it didn't seem so strange to outsiders when another Kelly child showed up when Greta was fourteen. As a child, her life was average; Greta's only dilemma was that she was shy and a bit odd to her classmates. She got along well enough and her family encouraged her that she was great no matter what anyone told her. The girl's biggest supporter and best friend was her father, and she was the apple of his eye. One of there favorite, though simple. hobbies together were mixing hummingbird feed, hanging it in the backyard, and documenting the different colors of feathered-creatures who visited throughout the warm months. They lived in northern Louisiana then, so the warm months seemed like forever. Everything changed when Greta's father passed away suddenly in a car accident when Greta was thirteen.

In a period of only a handful of months, grief overwhelmed the young teenager, and she felt she had no one who understood her like her father did. She tried to be okay for her family's sake, but she soon fell into a serious depression. With the lack of income, her mother had to go back to work, and she found a wonderful-paying marketing position in New York City. With the move and the change in family roles, Greta broke down to harming herself and turning to others and father figures. She ended up forming an inappropriate relationship with a high school boy and in a course of only weeks, became pregnant. Her lack in conversation at home and worsening grades in school influence her mother to admit her into a psychiatric facility, and it was in her stay there that Greta found out she was pregnant. She was allowed to leave a couple of days before having her daughter and that allowed her mother enough time to keep up the lie that she was pregnant from before her husband passed away. With careful planning, everything seemed to work out. Greta got regular help and was able to find herself again in high school by making some friends, developing interests, joining some clubs, and keeping up with her studies.

Greta has always spent a lot of time with her "sister" Fiona, but her mother believes she is still too young and immature to be a parent yet. Greta hopes to one day prove herself to her mother and have enough money and resources to raise her daughter on her own. She wants to go to college but doesn't know if she can handle being away from her family. She is currently accepted to a few schools and claims she wants to go to one out of state. This trip is a good chance to test herself and learn how to get along with strangers.

First of all, her faceclaim is Olesya Rulin:

For starters, Sophia is only 4'11" and bears the brunt of constant short jokes. She was a gymnast through tenth grade, at which point she became too serious about school and had to quit. Though she has had body image issues in the past, she's far from overweight at about 105 lbs, and is also naturally muscular. Her hair is dark brown, but the amount of time she spends outside in the summer tends to lighten the hue considerably. Unsurprisingly, she doesn't bother to do anything fancy with it, so the majority of the time it's in either down or in a messy bun or ponytail.

Soph has a nose piercing, which she got when she turned 18 for her obligatory act of rebellion against her parents. It was horribly ill-advised and she would let it close up, except for the fact that it wastes money (and hey, college ain't free). So she wears as small and inconspicuous a stud as possible.

Her style, much to the chagrin of all of her girlier friends, is less than hip. In the winter, her default attire is jeans, hiking socks, combat boots, a flannel or sweater, and a beanie; in summer, it's jean shorts, Converse, t-shirts, and a baseball cap. She tends to go for relatively bright colors and simple patterns.

Worth noting is that Sophia's hatred for dresses and skirts runs deep. They're just uncomfortable, and inconvenient, and she has to pay too much attention to how she's sitting and leaning down and what's showing where, and ain't nobody got time for that. For the beach, if she isn't tanning while reading fanfiction, she opts for one pieces or rash guards.

She has not gone near makeup ever since a traumatic experience with a mascara wand, and lucky for her she has naturally good skin (though she has freckles that seriously pop out in the summer). The most she does is sunblock and chapstick.

• She hates the internet, like a lot. She refuses to put up with anyone's nonsense and there is an abundance of nonsense on the internet, as she's seen her friends undergo, and she does not want to go near it.
• She also doesn't like most guys. She's had a couple disastrous relationships, and she claims that she's waiting for a nice guy with no drama and high tolerance for a high maintenance person. (In reality, she's waiting for someone who won't leave her, and who she can someday actually trust.)
• She despises people promoting mental illness or negative body image/talk. Like, she will slap them in the face and shut them down before they can even blink.

Sophia's got all the cliche relationship issues. Her adoption has ingrained the paralyzing fear of others leaving her because she's not good enough. So her greatest fear is definitely being abandoned by someone who was supposed to be there for her (as her birth mother abandoned her), and/or finding out that she isn't good enough for someone.

Secondly, part and parcel with her dislike of driving is the crippling fear of being pulled over by a cop. Which she also extends to everyone else. So she's usually anxiously checking the mirrors, criticizing people's driving, and silently (or not so silently) panicking because she's absolutely positive they're going to get pulled over.

She really cares what other people think. This is an insecurity she basically won't admit to anyone. Yes, she's got a healthy amount of confidence, but she acts like she doesn't care about haters and laughs it off when in reality it affects her deeply. Same goes for people being mad at her; she can be pragmatic or prickly and defensive, but deep down she feels awful and blames herself for anything going wrong. She has never cried in front of anyone.

Another secret is that she's managed to track down her birth mother. She had to do a lot of research, go through a lot of slightly sketchy channels, but she has had her biological mother's name and phone for 3 years now. She's just too terrified to reach out.

And yeah, she's dealt with mental illness before, but she really doesn't want to get into that. Her parents are the only ones who know. It's what makes her so passionate about mental health in general.

Oh my god, where to begin.

Soph is the definition of a controversial person with a strong personality. People tend to either love or hate her. This is mainly because she speaks her mind and stands up for everyone and everything she believes in. She also calls people out for their BS and delivers harsh reality checks. Nobody can really argue with her, because she's always right, but sometimes she could be a bit gentler. She's incredibly passionate about school in particular. And she's quite sociable and friendly. In fact, most people really like her at first, because she's the first to jump up and say hello or to break the ice. The moment of truth comes when she actually opens her mouth and starts talking.

She's more of an "acts of service" gal. You won't catch her writing cute mushy texts to friends. But you will see her drive an hour to spend time with an upset friend, or get involved (for better or worse) in social situations, or basically give people she cares about — or people she thinks deserve it — the shirt off her back.

Which leads into her loyalty. Having dealt with feelings of abandonment around her adoption, Sophia is fiercely loyal. This is bad for her enemies, because she can also be quite astute and manipulative. This is good, obviously, for the people she loves. She's also exuberant and proud of her friends' accomplishments, and the type to throw herself at someone and give them a lung-crushing hug when they're not expecting it.

She's somewhat haphazard. When she was younger, she absolutely ended up in the emergency room every other week. Everything about her is disorganized on the outside (think messy room, messy desk, no planner, nothing) but she actually has it all together and neatly organized inside her head, which is a relief. She is kind of a walking contradiction and a bizarre mixture of perfectionist and slacker, people pleaser and badass.

Sophia is also super smart, though she tries to tone it down because despite her outgoing, confident personality she's incredibly humble. All in all, she's spunky and a spitfire and a little firecracker. She can be annoying to some, and others find her downright mean, and she has her fair share of haters. But in the end, she really is a caring and intelligent person, and hey, not everyone can be liked by everyone.

She was abandoned by her mother in Russia as a newborn and taken to an impoverished orphanage. Eventually her parents adopted her, at which point she had to have language therapy because she was already speaking and comprehending Russian. Her parents tried to put her in Russian school to continue to learn Russian (just as well as English) but, wanting no roots to remind her of her past, she refused. Now, she regrets not being bilingual.

Growing up, she was a bright and gifted child but pretty hyperactive. She was tested for ADHD, but it was finally concluded that that's just her personality. She went through a tomboy phase in elementary school. In 8th grade, she tried to "fit in" and appease the bullies by changing all her clothes, acting stupid, and eventually developing an eating disorder, for which she was hospitalized for 3 months. Her teachers gave her all A's despite her never finishing the year, and gave her the chance to go into high school with a fresh start.

She spent much of ninth grade in and out of hospitals for suspected borderline personality disorder. When she went back, her reputation was so bad amongst her peers because of the drama from middle school that she ended up moving to a different state for tenth grade. Since then, she's gotten much more stable, though she still has underlying anxiety and still takes meds. People were quick to like/hate her at her new school. Those who liked her became her closest friends and remain so to this day. She's been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career after moving.

Mark is a tall person. Standing at 6'5 and weighing 196 pounds, he is quite the muscular man, although he he is still pretty lean and toned. His skin is a light even tan and is surprisingly smooth, except for his hands and fingers, which have been toughened by his many years of instrument playing and sculpting. His hair is an ash black and is very long and wavy. He likes to keep a short, trimmed beard for style. His eyes are a piercing blue that catch almost anyone's gaze, and he has nicely trimmed brow's. Being tall, Mark has abnormally large and lengthy hands and feet, which are a big help in his areas of practice. Mark is a gentle giant. His style is a mix between artsy and casual

Personality:
Fist and foremost, Mark is a musician and an artist. When he is bored, he always likes to sit down and write a song, draw a detailed picture, or sculpt a masterpiece. he did this so much that his parents even bought him a studio. and you can bet that if hes not at school or hanging out with friends, he was in his studio. Mark is also a fashion geek, always making himself look hip, sharp, and stylish. but above all this, he is a lover. he treats everyone he meets with the highest respect and has the manors of a gentlemen. he puts other peoples needs above his own and will sacrifice almost anything for his friends and family.

Biography:
Ever since Birth, Mark has shown the immense gift to create. even when he was a baby, he would draw and paint with the art supplies that his parents bought for him. And as he grew up, his skills got better and better. so good in fact, that his parents sent him to an art school. there he skills got even better, always getting top of of his classes, but there was a problem. he never really socialized with anyone in or outside of school and his parents saw this as an issue. so they pulled him out and had him privately tutored instead. this was for the better, since when they put him back into regular school he mad friends.

When he finally made his way to high school, thats when the social stuff really started. discovering that he had an ear for music in his junior year, his parents had him privately tutored in Guitar, piano, Cello, Violin, on top of his art lessons. sure it was alot of money for them, but Mark was an only child and they wanted him to be the best he could be. He became the star of all the talent shows and even joined a band. things were going his way

This life continued all throughout high school, him being the star of musical talent and being the top student in all of his art classes, not to mention making it to the honors list every year. but even with all this commotion, Mark needed a break. with senior year ending, he got a scholarship to the best art university in the country, but he needed time to think. thats when he decided to go on a long road trip with a bunch of his friends, to see the country before he officially started his adult life

I like this a lot! I can see Sophia initially not sure what to think of him, but slowly start to like him. She'd probably try to get him on a rollercoaster and 100% make fun of him (affectionately, although her sarcasm is often taken to heart too much) the first time she hears him talking to himself. If he despairs about not having gotten drunk or high, Soph would for sure swoop in and prove (probably with candy, junk food, and music) that you don't need to do that stuff to have a good time. Plus, since she's so focused on STEM subjects, she thinks his artsiness is super cool.

Catalina has an unique style of appearance about her. She has a blemish free face and her skin is the same way. Her skin complexion definitely compliments the many races she is mixed with. Her light skin vibrates perfectly in different amount of lighting and sunlight, even. She has chestnut brown eyes that are accented by long eyelashes and perfectly arched eyebrows. Her raven colored locks of hair cascade down to the middle of her back and she always has it down and straightened. She hardly ever ties it up in a ponytail or a bun but it depends on the situation. Personality
Catalina is very motherly in terms of taking care of someone who really needs it. She'll always open up her heart to anyone who deserves to have a little love. She isn't afraid to go out there and actually try to change the world as she'll cook for the homeless and even deliver them the meals herself. Natalie is also loyal to the people she befriend as she doesn't want anyone to mess with her friends. If someone was to mess with Catalina's close friends then they are asking for nothing but trouble when it comes to her. Background
Catalina is the second sibling born just mere minutes after her brother. Ever since her birth, her parents seemingly showered her with everything they could get their hands on and whatever she wanted. Of course, they did not really grow up within the Upper East Side or anything but her mother is a surgeon and her father is a lawyer for a firm. When she reached the rightful age to start school, she went to a local magnet school nearby. Catalina hated it there as it was too strict and very demanding of excellence. She constantly complained about the school and soon, her parents took her out of the school and sent her to public, which she loved.

As the years went on and Catalina grew up, she found her love of singing, dancing and photography. Her mother had her in talents competitions for her singing and dancing, winning only two times but being within the top ten every other time. She has massive amounts of pictures and even became a scrap booker for just about anyone that needed one put together. Catalina excelled her way through every single grade and when she reached high school, she knew that she had to up the ante on things.

Just about a month before graduation, her along with her boyfriend had sex but Catalina was scared that she might've been pregnant. Lucky enough for her, she wasn't but she needed to get away from him and the city, so her along with some friends have decided to go further South to Miami for the summer. Calm, cool and collected are three words that really describe Calvin's personality, most of the time. He always says that if he was any calmer, he'd really be levitating right off of the ground and people that know him can vouch that statement. Calvin is the first born out of a set of twins. When he was born, it seemed that him and his sister were showered with just about anything they wanted. At that very moment, Calvin knew that he had to keep up with the latest style and trend at the time. Zaze is 5'9" with blue-green eyes and messy dirty blond hair. He's a bit scrawny and small compared to a lot of his jock friends, which is cause for some insecurity. He doesn't have any tattoos or piercings, and overall he's an attractive guy, though because of his personality he doesn't get a whole lot of attention for it.

Zaze is a slightly soft-spoken guy. He's funny and sweet, but shies away from attention. That being said, when in a group of friends, he becomes much more forthcoming, loud, and fun. He isn't the type to initiate anything and he isn't very confrontational. But he's intelligent and kind to everyone, and those who are close to him think he's honestly the best guy they know. His social awkwardness makes him a bit of a wallflower and, as has been proven in the past, can be a turn-off in relationships with people who are incredibly social and outgoing.

This is not to say that he's a total sap. He's actually fairly secure with himself and confident in what he's doing with his life and who he is - he just gets tripped up when he feels a lot of social pressure, and he's never liked being the center of attention. He's courageous, determined, and resilient as well. These positive traits aren't immediately apparent.​

Zaze has two older brothers, Pete and Will, who are both in the movie business as producers. His mom has been stay-at-home since Zaze was born, and his dad works for HP. He grew up in a small town and used to do baseball. He had high anxiety in sixth grade, and while he's pretty much okay now, his sensitivity remains.

He had a bad relationship with a girl from ages 15 to 17 which definitely affects him now. That was followed by a six-month relationship with a guy, which also didn't go well. As a result, he completely avoids men, is intimidated by girls who seem overly friendly or rambunctious (so, Sophia is out), and because of this he doesn't really trust people.

Overall, he's just had some bad experiences with regards to love, but he's ready to make some new friends, relax a little, and enjoy himself this summer!​

Appearance: Grayson is on the shorter side, standing just below 5'6". He does not have a lot of muscle tone, but he doesn't have much body fat either, so his build is pretty average. Gray's light skin tone creates the illusion that his sandy blonde hair is darker, perhaps a mousy brown in certain lighting, and that his dark blue eyes are brighter. His noticeable facial features are probably his large eyes and plump pink lips, and Grayson tends to, though perhaps subconsciously, draw more attention to his lips by resting his face in a way that his mouth is always slightly open. This combined with his relatively straight eyebrows leaves Gray with a resting facial expression of confusion. His clothing style consists of skinny jeans, khaki shorts, button up shirts, t-shirts, tank tops, sweaters, and Vans sneakers. Personailty: When one first meets Grayson, they see his confidence and determined nature, as well as his handy video camera in his hand. The male is outgoing and friendly, but it's obvious that he is rather awkward and, for lack of a better word, nerdy. He is extremely curious and loves to learn about other people, cultures, ideas, and lifestyles. He is a great listener, and when the conversation gets quiet, he he will usually ask another question. While he finds other people fascinating, Gray does not always have too much to say about himself. Background: Grayson grew up as the only child of his loving parents, and they were well-off, so he was pretty spoiled. The male never had very many friends, and his father's job forced them to move to a different city every two or three years. Although he didn't have many peers to keep him company, Gray was intrigued with all the different cultures and situations he was faced with over the years, and he usually spent his afternoons trying to gain trust to be a part of different social groups. In middle school, the male found his mother's old video camera that she used to film his school plays and the like with years before. He asked if he could use it, and that was the start of his life with film.

In tenth grade, Gray moved to New York, and he was blown away with all the diversity. He started to research, visit, and document different clubs in his school and different organizations around the city. He worked filming all the sports games at school, so the teams could watch their routines and such over. He interviewed people about their life goals and views on politics. Once he got permission from everyone filmed, Gray would upload his work to YouTube for fun. Eventually, however, he wanted to have a bigger project. After purchasing better equipment, Grayson ended up creating a four-part video series following his cousin, Zoey, and documenting the intensity of ballet at her dance school. Apparently, that is what he needed to get noticed online. After gaining a few thousands subscribers, and revealing himself publicly in a video thanking everyone for their support, he started making more friends at school. He was, sometimes infamously, known as the guy with the video camera.

His popularity online slowly increased online, but it leveled off at school. People knew him and were friendly, but he didn't really hang out with many people outside of larger groups. The male dated several people over the year but only for short periods of time. He liked receiving the attention he did, and he wanted other people to be happy with him, but he stayed true to his original style of his videos. Instead of focusing on a group with mutual interests, this time, he is hoping he can make a video documenting the possible new friendships he will gain on this trip. Gray was actually surprised he was invited, but he is happy Zoey will be there too, so he won't ever feel alone.

Appearance: Zoey is quite tall, standing at 5'9", but despite having a great deal of strength, she has always been at least a little underweight. She is slim, and pretty flat chested. Her long limbs make her lanky, but she has an elegance to her that defeats most of this. While her hair used to be long and straightened daily, the female has chopped it all off since school ended (much to the dismay of her mother). She know allows it dry naturally, literally shaking it out after she showers. The female's eyes are a calm chocolate hue, and her face is usually serious, deep in thought or smiling, overjoyed with the current atmosphere. Zoey's front right tooth is crooked from when she hit her head a few years ago. She typically doesn't wear makeup outside of performances, but if she does, it's basic and light. Her clothing style in the summer is usually jean shorts, crop tops, bikinis, bright sun dresses, and flip flops. She adores sunglasses, as well.

Personailty: Predictably, the upbeat, loud-voiced child her parents wanted to calm down never truly went away, and Zoey is always on the look out for fun. She is not desperate to make friends, and she does not really mind if people like her or not (especially on this trip where she doesn't have to see anyone but Gray ever again). Besides the moments where Zoey is overwhelmed with excitement, she is pretty calm and easy-going. She does not like to cause or participate in drama or arguments unless she feels someone is being treated unjustly or if her cousin is involved. She never shows her worry or discomfort with herself, and she will quickly lie to stop anyone else from worrying about her. Background: Zoey was a very independent and opinionated little girl, so her mother stuck her in dance class, so she would learn to behave and follow rules. Her family poured thousands of dollars into her dance career, and eventually got her little brother to take classes, too. Of course there is a lot of creativity in ballet, but the training was strict and time consuming. At first it was fun because the female made friends and worked with her peers to increase her skill and find herself in her dance. Around 7th grade, though, many of her friends had quit, and over time only the best dancers were in the advanced classes with her, and it became more of chore to Zoey. Luckily, she had some free time when she went to school, hung out with her cousin, and finished her homework in the evening. Her favorite activity was to sneak out of the apartment, go to the park, and write in her journals until it started to get too dark.

She loved to dance, and she still loves it, but twelve years with her coach began to add unneeded stress into her young life. Her mother and instructor both pressure her to practice more, and scare her with stories of girls growing too fat and ugly to continue to dance. Zoey knows she doesn't need to dance professionally to have ballet in her life, but it's all she has ever known. Trying to make sure she stays in good condition even over the summer and a break without daily practice, the female has stopped eating, and she often worries about her appearance. She has been accepted to continue ballet at a school of arts, but she doesn't know if that is actually what she wants to do. Out of protest, she cut her hair before she left, not wanting to permanently alter her skin with a rebellious tattoo or piercing. Zoey is very gracious to have a trip to the beach before making up her mind.
