On a private island off the coast of South America, an eccentric millionaire has gathered statesmen, socialites, and the brightest scientific minds of the Roaring 20's for an exhibition of mankind's greatest achievement to date: the resurrection of terrifying monsters from the distant past!

Join us as we merge the excess and bravado of the 1920s with the hubris of science fiction, all draped in the delicious survival-horror dressing of deadly dinosaurs in a disastrous park.

The year is 1923, and there's only one goal: get off this island before you die.

RULES

NO.1 This is a semi-advanced literate roleplay, meaning we need more than one or two sentences per post.
NO.2 Expect to be posting at a pace of ~1 in-character post per week. Stay involved in the OOC discussion, too.
NO.3 If two users apply for the same role, the character that best fits the story will be selected.
NO.4 Your character's fate is (mostly) up to you. At key points in the story, I may require that dice are rolled for success in dire circumstances. Rolls will only be necessary when death is possible. In this way, we will let fate decide itself.
NO.5 While the nature of our story may necessitate some violence, our roleplay is focused on survival, not gore and misery.

MISC

If our group unanimously prefers to use Discord, we will have an OOC server there; otherwise, we will use PMs on RP Nation.

When your application is accepted, you will be sent an informational brochure that will provide you with your character's knowledge of the island and its denizens. But don't be shocked if your host has kept a few surprises from you...
