Personality/Bio: Ashtin is a very quiet, keeps to himself type of guy. With his bi-polar disorder, manic depression and general dislike for everyone; Ashtin does nothing but study, read, writing and paint. He is a Psychology Major with a double minor in art (painting) and creative writing. He has known his roommate since middle school and has hated him since. They always fought for the top spot in class and in social life. But now, Ashtin doesn't really care about his social life as much as his school life, but he will always see his roommate as his rival. Things have happened to Ashtin that he has kept locked away for years. He came out as gay during high school and his ex is a constant in his life. Think of it as more of a best friend with benefits who happens to be his ex. But Ashtin is very loyal when he is in a relationship. His parents are completely against him being gay, and he moved as far away from them as he could the moment he graduated from high school, moving to the other side of the country.

PERSONALITY:

There are a few different sides to Leo. He appears to be talkative (sometimes even a bit loud), energetic and definitely not shy, he often seems like he has no worries and can appear as confident as a peacock, but only on the outside, not that many people know the difference between the act and the real thing. When he puts his mind to something he rarely gives it up or changes his opinions about it. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen it just means it takes a well-sized exception to change his views.

His strict parents and past are the reason he has times he can be quite neurotic, doubts himself or is depressed, of course he tries to hide or cover that part of him but people who know him enough notice. He had always tried his best at being the best just so his parents wouldn’t punish him for bad grades or detention. He naturally didn’t always succeed, he wasn’t anywhere near perfect after all and made many mistakes, the fact that Ashtin often bested him at school didn’t help his situation at home and Leo came to blame the cruel punishment he got from his parents whenever he wasn’t the best in class on Ashtin. He looked at him as a rival and only tried harder at everything he did because of him.

When he finally went to college Leo was relieved he wouldn’t have to be around his parents anymore and could start living ‘on his own’ without the immense and sometimes crushing pressure. That was also when he stopped blaming his past on the guy that now turned out to be his roommate. Not that the rivalry was gone of course, he just disliked him somewhat less.

His favorite activity is to mess with Ashtin by stealing his leftovers, misplacing or displacing his things or ‘borrowing’ his stuff just to see the man angry. There is just something about an angry Ashtin he can't get enough of.
