"lacuna beach. lacuna's a sweet name for a tourist trap, 'til you find out that it means an unfilled space: a gap, a cavity."

situated right by the ocean, lacuna beach is a seaside town. in the summer, it's bustling with tourists who know where to find it, and the businesses thrive. in the off season, it's practically a ghost town, abandoned by everybody except those who live there.
it's not the sort of place people really move to. you're born into lacuna: you grow up there, and if you've got any sense, you get out when you're finished.
on the outskirts, they've got their own little college. college is the time for people to escape, to start over, reinvent yourself. unless you end up right in the same town you started in.

this rp will be a college-centric, euphoria-inspired kind of deal. it'll focus on a core group of 5-8 characters/players, with the option to add in secondary characters to fill out the world. the plan is for a character-driven plotline, much like euphoria, where people are interconnected and their actions will heavily affect those around them. i'm testing the waters to see if anyone's interested in the concept, and in creating a long-term sort of story!
we'll have characters who grew up in town, and people who didn't. there's opportunity for drama, romance, angst, and everything else.

knowledge of euphoria is not required, this rp will have very little to do with the show, it was just my inspiration in terms of the group setup! if you're interested, please drop a message below and/or feel free to hop into the discord, which is linked in the last tab. thanks!
