THE POWER FILES
so this is the superpower files which will include all of the applications, weaknesses, etc of the powers.
each individual power is different and to prevent the OP of users, some powers have more limitations than others. some powers also have more level types than others, but that also means theless level types that your powers have, the longer is takes for them to have to train and advance their power.
at the beginning of the roleplay, everyones powers will be of level type I.
weaknesses are also applicable to even the highest level types of users so keep in mind that
since your character has only been using their powers for about 3 months now, they'll still
be experiencing a lot of the weaknesses at a constant level.

REGENERATIVE HEALING
-
The user can rapidly regenerate. In other words, they recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, sometimes slowing, or even stop aging. They are generally in very good physical shape as their bodies are constantly reverting to healthy state, granting them nigh-inexhaustible stamina and vitality.
APPLICATIONS:
- Decelerated Aging Process
- Disease Immunity
- Pain Suppression
- Limb Regrowth (very slow but possible)
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Regeneration may increase nutrition requirements.
- Damage may exceed the rate or extent of regeneration.
- Misaligned body parts, foreign objects in wound, or mitosis-inhibiting drugs may affect regeneration.
- Power may replace immune system. User never develops natural immunity, and is vulnerable if de-powered.
- Healing too fast or excessively in one sitting may cause DNA replication errors, resulting in mutations (such as cancer, etc).
- May be affected by chemicals and toxins (though will be able to heal faster than others)
LEVELS:
Type I:
- Healing may be unreliable, either failing or have a limit on how many times it can be used.
- Regeneration may be limited to a certain part of the body, instead of the whole.
- May need to think about healing for it to occur instead of it happening naturally.
- May develop scars.
Type II:
- Minor wounds such as cuts, bruises and light burns heal faster than normal.
- Recovering from minor to moderate blood loss.
Type III:
- External wounds, including fractured bones and deeper burns, may heal at an accelerated rate
- Can survive severe blood loss.
- Lost limbs may be regenerated but might end up needing a cast until it heals completely.
- Minor damaged internal organs may heal, but more severity may be beyond repair and may take more time to heal.
Type IV:
- Minor to moderate wounds heal near-instantaneously, appearing as though they never happened.
- Lost limbs and internal organs may be completely regenerated.
- Critically and fatally damaged cells can regenerate, preventing scars.
- Healing strength may be so powerful, the blood is enriched with healing powers that can be used to heal others
- Nearly unaffected by toxins

TELEKINESIS

The power to manipulate objects/matter with their mind.
APPLICATIONS:
- can keep objects from moving
- can move objects with their mind
- can levitate
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- May be weakened or nullified by stress, fear, distractions, disbelief, lack of confidence, morale and willpower, etc
- Psychic strength may be proportional to user's capacity, meaning an opponent with greater physical strength than the user's mental strength may break free, or even be immune to the ability altogether.
- May be linked to or unwittingly triggered by emotions, thoughts, dreams, causing the user to be unable to control or possibly even access their ability.
- May experience chronic migraines after use of power
- The heavier the object lifted, the more mental/physical energy that is being drained from user
- May be physically or psychologically fatiguing, straining or even crippling for the user, with the user either bleeding from the nose or eyes, falling unconscious, entering a coma, or even dying from the mental effort of using the ability.
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- User can manipulate objects as long as they can see/perceive them.
- User can manipulate objects as with hands.
- User can only move mass equal to what they could physically carry.
- User can only lift themselves up (levitate) to a certain height (height of an average tree)
- User can alter an object's inner workings, e.g. unlocking a door.
- User can manipulate the movement of others.
TYPE II:
- User can move limited mass, equal to several people/heavy appliances.
- User can levitate to higher heights e.g, small buildings, 2 story houses, etc.
- To choke or strangle others without physical contact.
TYPE III:
- User can make an object explode, e.g. blowing up a table.
- To emit a powerful vibration strong enough to make objects shatter, i.e. sonic boom.
- User can use telekinesis to fly
- To augment the user's physical strength, e.g. punching through a steel wall.

SUPER SPEED

User can move much faster than the average member of their species, some near or at the speed of sound, or even faster.
APPLICATION:
- Accelerated though process
- Accelerated metabolism
- Enhanced reflexes
- Accelerated perception
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Breathing may be difficult due to high speeds
- May require heat-proof clothing for protection
- May cause burning and extreme heat from the friction of speed.
- May not be able to control speed if experiencing anger, sadness, excitement, etc
- May experience very painful whiplash
- Speed will decrease if carrying others with them
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- User can travel just below the speed of sound
- User can walk on breakable barriers (ex: water, air, etc)
TYPE II:
- User can travel at the speed of sound
- User can jump at immense heights
TYPE III:
- User can travel beyond the speed of sound
- User can fly for limited amount of time (more like running in the air)
- User can run/climb on surfaces (walls, trees, buildings, etc)

FORCE FIELDS

User can create a shield, wall, or a field formed from energy, elements, shaped from the environment, or formed by manipulating smaller items to form a greater whole. Force-fields aren't usually impenetrable and can be removed by energy drain or extreme force.
APPLICATIONS:
- Create Force-fields for protection from physical attacks and/or energy attacks.
- Create selective force-fields to prevent specific things from leaving/entering.
- Create an area for breathing where doing so can be dangerous, allowing navigation through toxic gas or vacuum.
- Create a force-field inside an object or person, and expand the force-field so that the object or person explodes.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- May be limited on the size/shape/time of their barriers.
- Attacks on the barriers may cause equivalent damage to user's mind or body.
- May require concentration
- May only block certain types of attacks (ex: force fields may not be able to sustain water attacks or air attacks, etc)
- May not be able to maintain barriers under stress.
- The bigger the barrier, the more energy it drains from user
- User may only be able to hold barrier for limited time based on emotions (fear, anger, excitement, etc)
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- Can only build force field around and those in close proximity (up to 4 feet away)
- Size of force field can go up to the size of a dorm room
- Can only create up to 2 force fields at a time
- Force fields can push people away
TYPE II:
- Size of force field can expand to a 2 story house
- Can cast multiple force fields (though all will be the same size)
- Force fields can be used as power bolts (though they drain a lot of energy)
TYPE III:
- Can use force fields to create objects (a skate board shaped force field)
- Force field can expand up to the size of a football field
- Can cast multiple force fields of different variations
- Can cast a force field inside of something and cause it to blow up (yes that includes humans.

ICE MANIPULATION

User can create, shape and manipulate ice, water frozen into a solid state and appears naturally in forms of snow, slush, hail, icicles, ice spikes and candles, glaciers, pack ice, frost, and polar ice caps, and cold by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms and thus making things colder, for various effects and combinations.
APPLICATIONS:
- Ice manipulation
- Ice attacks
- Freeze things
- Move/lift ice
- Burrowing with choice between simply gliding through ice or leaving a tunnel.
- Body can withstand cold temperatures reaching down to -1000F
- Absorbing heat from others
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Ice is affected by everything that normal ice would be, although the user is perfectly able to use their power to return the ice in its original shape and/or controlling it even under these forces:
- Melt under extreme heat (ex: Fire/heat manipulators could easily melt their ice)
- The creation of ice may depend on the amount of moisture available; dry areas could make this difficult or impossible.
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
- May need to warm body up after use of power to regulate homeostasis
- Body is cold via touch
- Normal body temperature for user is 80-85F
- Strong emotions (confusion, fear, excitement, anger, etc) may lower body temperature.
- Strong emotions (confusion, fear, excitement, anger, etc) may accidentally cause user absorb heat from the environment.
- The more ice the user generates from their body, the more energy they drain from themselves.
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- Body can withstand -250F
- Can emit ice from hands only
- Can not actually create ice, but can only generate it from cold things.
- Can suck the heat out of things and other people
TYPE II:
- Body can withstand temperatures down to -500F
- Can emit ice from upper body only
- Can actually create ice
- Can create ice attacks
- Can glide (surf) and/or walk through ice
TYPE III:
- Body can withstand temperatures down to -1000F
- Can shape ice at their will
- Can literally freeze the insides of people; causing immediate death (requires immense concentration/drains a lot of energy)
- Can emit ice from their entire body
- Can use ice to heal oneself and/or others by freezing wounds, etc (requires immense concentration/drains a lot of energy)

INVISIBILITY

User can render themselves unseen by the naked eye and become invisible in visible spectrum. The user can move about an environment unseen by others and act without being observed.
APPLICATIONS:
- Full invisibility (whole body)
- Partial invisibility (some parts of the body)
- Making other things/beings invisible
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- May be limited on how long they may remain invisible.
- May be limited to how far of the body the mass can be to become invisible.
- May require great concentration to stay invisible.
- Even while invisible, they can still interact with their environment (ex: bumping into others, breaking things, etc)
- User can be detected by senses that don't depend on vision, such as smell, hearing, touch, etc.
- Will still cast shadow.
- Rain and other liquids, solids, fire, etc. may show the user's shape while invisible.
- Strong emotions (confusion, fear, excitement, anger, etc) may hinder the user to turn invisible completely or partially (ex: they may turn invisible but their legs might still be visible) and vice versa (they may not be able to retort to being visible again) until their emotions regulate.
- Users with sensory detection might be able to detect their presence even in invisible form.
TYPE I:
- They can only make their entire body invisible
- Invisibility is only limited to a certain amount of time (3 hours)
- Concentration is needed to turn invisible
TYPE II:
- They can subject their invisibility to certain parts of their body (ex: only their hands, feet, head, etc)
- Invisibility is limited to a certain amount of time (10 hours)
- Can cause other things/people to become invisible via touch (though this drains a lot of the user's energy)
TYPE III:
- Can choose to let certain people see them, while staying invisible to others.
- Invisibility is limited to a certain amount of time (24 hours)
- Can become invisible just by thinking about it

FIRE MANIPULATION

User can create, shape and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame being the visible portion of the fire.
APPLICATIONS:
- Heat detection
- Fire attacks
- Burning/melt things
- Heat manipulation
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Control, discipline, and restraint are extremely important. Unconscious, emotion-influenced, impulsive, or reckless use of this power can be catastrophic.
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
- May not be immune to other side-effects/products, such as smoke.
- Users can be overpowered by water, ice and/or cold.
- Oxygen is needed as comburent.
- Sufficient lack of heat may complicate things.
- Body will feel really warm via touch.
- Normal body temperature for user will range between 106-109F
- Body temperature may rise and will need calm down to regulate homeostasis
- Strong emotions (excitement, fear, confusion, anger, etc) may trigger the rise in body temperature.
- Strong emotions (excitement, fear, confusion, anger, etc) may unintentionally cause the user to set fire to environment.
- Strong emotions (excitement, fear, confusion, anger, etc) may cause user to lose control over the fire that they emit.
- Can withstand temperatures up to 1000F
- May unintentionally burn up flammable things while standing near them
- If using full body of fire, or upper/lower body, while clothed, clothes will burn
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- Cannot actually create fire, but can generate it from the heat absorbed
- Can only emit fire from hands
- Can withstand temperatures up to 250F
- Can increase the temperatures of other things and people
TYPE II:
- Can withstand temperatures up to 500F
- Can only emit fire from upper body
- Can actually create fire
- Can create fire attacks
- Can use pyrokinetic flight; using the fire to raise them up
TYPE III:
- Can withstand temperatures up to 1000F
- Can emit fire from entire body
- Can fly via full body fire form (think Fantastic4)
- Can literally cause a fire to erupt in other people; causing immediate death (requires major concentration/drains a lot of energy)
- Can heal others via flame aura (requires major concentration/drains a lot of energy)

ELECTRICAL MANIPULATION

User can create, shape and manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the movement of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), allowing control over electric fields, all charge carriers (Ions, Electrons, Protons, and Positrons), electronics, and electromagnetic forces.
APPLICATIONS:
- Electricity detection
- Electricity absorption
- Electricity attacks
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
- Electricity needs a conductor like metal or water to move through, therefore electricity can neither exist in nor move through a vacuum (such as outer space) and may be insulated by non-conductive matter, such as air and rubber.
- Electricity may be redirected by certain materials.
- May become useless if confronted with electrical resistant material, such as rubber or silicate.
- May have problems using electronics.
- May have to find electrical sources of power in order to recharge.
- May unintentionally zap others via touch
- May accidentally set flammable things on fire
- May accidentally go into shock if user uses too much of their energy on the power
- May accidentally start talking extremely fast after use of power or after absorption of electricity
- Strong emotions (excitement, fear, anger, confusion) may cause the user to unintentionally lose control of the power (absorbing things, etc)
LEVELS:
TYPE I:

- Easily be able to detect the main source of electricity in an environment
- Can recharge, or drain all electricity from electrical items/things

- Can actually create electricity
- Can shape electricity at their will
- Can emit electricity from upper body
- Can create electric attacks
- Can help oneself/others recall certain memories by redirecting signals between brain nerves
TYPE III:
- Can literally fry the inside someones body using electricity; causing immediate death (requires a lot of concentration; drains immense energy)
- Can revive/heal others using electricity to revive their heart/cells (requires full concentration; drains all energy from user and requires a lot of rest afterwards)
- Can manipulate lightning; causing it to cease by draining the energy from it or creating it (requires immense concentration)
- Can emit electricity from entire body

SONIC SCREAM

User can emit/generate extremely powerful scream of a high amplitude for a variety of purposes.
APPLICATIONS:
- Vibration emission
- Enhanced scream
- Pain inducement
- Sensory detection
WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
- May unintentionally emit scream when shouting, yelling, or simply raising voice
- Flow of sound waves often natural often causing accidental destruction to nearby objects.
- May cause unintentional harm to distant targets, including beings with sensitive/enhanced/superhuman hearing.
- Rendered utterly useless when the user is gagged by any means.
- Sound/sonic waves can be reflected off certain objects, like mirrors.
LEVELS:
TYPE I:
- Can emit extremely loud scream
- Echolocation is possible
- Can feel vibrations of things within the same room as them
TYPE II:
- Can emit scream to only reach certain areas
- Can use scream to fly (think xmen first class)
- Scream can send others flying away

User can create, shape and manipulate glass, an amorphous (non-crystalline) solid material that exhibits a glass transition, which is the reversible transition in amorphous materials (or in amorphous regions within semicrystalline materials) from a hard and relatively brittle state into a molten or rubber-like state.
