Ai just followed Kuma as he led the way to the court. She really was curious why he would ask her but that question will be saved for later. The two walked in silence but it didn't really bother her, silence was something she appreciated and liked. She saw the court up ahead and as they arrived, Ai raised her eyebrows as Kuma began stripping. Of course a basketball mania would be prepared at all times.


She nodded his head and just stood back to watch. She was curious what he had to show. And luckily even if he breaks the rim and backboard this time it's all ok for her since she won't be having to pay for it or anything of the sort. Ai's careful eyes began to observe his every move.

Kuma did some basic easy dribbles, it looked like he was just get a feel for the defense. He stood still keeping his dribble as well, he began to focus then closed his eyes. He opened them, his presence looked Destructive, he started dribble faster and faster before do a hard crossover to his right and started to drive. He then did a in between the legs crossover then using his monster-like legs, did a mega step back. He jumped in the air and did Midorima's jumpshot. The ball went insanely high, higher than Midorima's and hit nothing but net. he said " I can shot like Midorima but I put some power from a friend of mine back in a America, I really want to know why I always get that in though?" He wondered what she was going to say.

Ai's eyes widened as she witnessed such raw power. This guy definitely was trouble with such power and speed. She watched as she saw Midorima's signature move but with more force and speed. Calculating what she just witnessed she took into question what Kuma just asked her.


Staying silent for a moment, Ai's mind began whirling as many ideas came to mind. But if she compared it to Midorima's it was exactly like his, but with more power behind it. Coming to a conclusion she spoke up, "well judging from how identical if not exact your move was compared to the original of Midorima...I say that you have a talent in copying the moves of others but you make it your own so it's not entirely copying...more like an upgrade you could say. And the reason why such an insane high ball could even make the net is the same reason as to why Midorima's can. You just need the right momentum and power control, it's honestly all about control so if you already have good control than there's your answer. Plus you need a lot of endurance to be able to shoot that, it takes a lot out of you and since Midorima is physically weaker than you, it explains why with your strength and speed that you could do the same shot as Midorima's but better...does this all make sense?" Ai asked as she finished her long almost scientific answer.

Kuma said "yeah, you got me." he always had that unique talent to copy people, it like he stored his moves in a vault and opened it when he wanted to use something very good, he has Been storing many moves over the Past weeks and has already upgraded almost all of them. he has to keep upgrading them still so he could use them when he really got good.


He perfectly understood what she said, He had to improve on the control of his New Jumpshot which wasn't very complex but it require very good skill and power to do. He was about to Show what his post game was missing until he saw some people from Meikan, They were some players from the game and he could tell from their faces that they are mad at him.

Ai noticed that Kuma was about to say something else, but he stopped and was looking behind her. Curious Ai turned around and saw some of the members from the Meikan basketball team. She fully turned her attention onto them as they approached her and Kuma. Their eyes were full of suspicion and anger. Looking at their manager they asked her, "what are you doing here with him manager-chan?"


Ai turned towards them and said, "I was just repaying him for fixing the backboard and rim as he promised by overlooking something is all. What of it?" She knew exactly what they were about to say now, "but that's like helping your enemy!" Sighing Ai gave them a stern look and said, "Perhaps. I was just simply helping someone who has a passion for basketball. If you look past the idea of being in rival schools everyone just plays because they enjoy the sport. Don't be so hostile outside of the court." They looked away guiltily.

Kuma then said to them "hey, if you guys want we could do a 3 on 1 right now?" they looked at Kuma Shocked but there face quickly turn to Greedy ones as they saw a chance to teach this so called (by them) Prodigy a lesson. he said "i get First ball and if anyone scores it's their ball" They Past the Ball to Him, He took his New Jumpshot, it hit nothing but the bottom of the net. They Looked stunned, he said to all of them "That is two points." This is going to be a brutal game.

Ai shook her head as she saw the looks in the boys eyes. They would never learn. She stood back as she watched them play. Hopefully this won't affect the boys moral during the actual match. During then, a phone call interrupted Ai's concentration on the match ahead of her. Answering her phone she realized it was her elder brother, "What's wrong nii-san?" He then spoke some words that caught Ai off guard. He said what now?! Ai turned to look at the boys still playing and decided to leave a note by Kuma's bag, on the note it said: Sorry, I had to leave. Bye, Kurosaki.





With that she hurriedly went home. Her brother's words still echoing inside her head, "come home...we have to move." Just what did he mean by that!?

Kuma destroyed them, he crossed them so bad that they fell down and took a three pointer in their face, they stared up at him. After embarrassing them, he even Dunked on them so hard that he Ripped the Hoop Down, 20-00 he didn't See the raven haired girl leave or say anything to them.


He saw the Note, he raised a eyebrow and put the note in his jacket. Putting on his clothes, the Boys said that they were going to beat him during the actual game, He smiled and said to them"Get better then you can talk Weaklings." They were Mad as they not only got embarrassed on the court but they also got dissed.


He walked home and went to sleep, wondering what would happen on the next day.

Ai had went home and after hearing from her brothers, she found out that they had to move due to financial reasons (something about rent and their parents) and that they were going to be moving to a completely different city. Ai frowned as she thought back to it as she walked to school the next day. How was she going to break the news and more importantly what will happen to the basketball club. And for some strange reason a large guy by the name of Kuma wafted into her mind for a split second.


She headed to the faculty office to tell her basketball coach the bad news. Afterwards Ai continued her daily routine, though she did have to unfortunately break the news to her good friend Miko who is now bawling her eyes out and promising to take care of the basketball team for her sake. After a tiring day of school, Ai headed towards the gym knowing that this is probably the last official match she will be manager of for Meikan basketball club. She will miss them, but knew she had no choice.


As they waited for Shuhoku to arrive, Ai decided not to tell them the news until after the match, she didn't want to distract the players anymore than necessary. As Ai waited by the gates for Shuhoku she began thinking of the school she will be transferring to, it was a higher almost wealthy school...."Rakuzan High School" Ai whispered out to herself as she said her new school's name out loud to herself.

Kuma though about the Girl that helped him with his Jumpshot, he wanted to see her again but he would have a match which meant that he would be able to see her again. He was the First to arrive from Shuhoku, the team quickly arrived one after another but like usual Midorima and Takao were Last. Everyone watch as some of the Third years taught them a small lesson on not to be late, everyone laughed at their antics, everyone but Kuma as he wanted to get to know that girl alittle better.


He saw her and walked over. he said to her "had some family stuff to take care of?" that was usual many people that he talked to everywhere he went, had some stuff to take care of then left where he and they were.

Ai was startled out of her thoughts as she heard a voice from infront of her. Looking up she noticed that it was Kuma. Letting out a breath, she nodded and said, "Yeah, some things happened. Sorry about suddenly leaving like that. I hope the boys weren't too rough with you." She smiled lightly up at him, ah this will probably be the last time they also talked like this was her thoughts. She saw that the rest of Shuhoku was arriving behind him, all had their mouths agape as they just witnessed Kuma, their Ace Monster, to be speaking to a girl of all people/things!


Ai smiled towards the rest of the team and after giving her greeting to the coach she said while turning her backs to them, "Well, shall we get going and start this match that is long overdue?" and so she began leading them towards the gym once more.

Kuma smiled softly "oh, i think i was was way to rough on them heheheh." that was a Freaking understatement, he complete destroyed them. they never once touched the ball as he just scored and scored on them. he saw that she was a bit upset by something "don't worry whatever your going through, i'll cheer you all the way." he saw her as a friend and nothing more but he hoped to know her a bit.


he saw the rest of them with their jaws gaping. he asked what is it before they all started clowning him on talking to Meikan's Manger, Kuma got mad and then chased after the ones that were Punking him for Talking to the Raven Haired Girl. Shuhoku's Coach sighed and said to Ai "Yes, we should start the game. Kuma will be back with those idiots in a couple of seconds"

Ai was surprised as Kuma encouraged her. Surprise was evident in her eyes as she looked up at him, wondering how he could tell. Regardless she just smiled at him and said, "Ah, thank you. Don't worry I'm fine." This was a new side of him that Ai learned of, then again she never really got to know the guy so she couldn't really be the judge of anything. Though by the reactions from his team, she could tell that Kuma was never really like this.


She saw the rest of Shuhoku start ganging up on Kuma, she sweatdropped. Was it really a smart idea to provoke someone like Kuma was her thoughts. Her thoughts were answered when Kuma began chasing them down. Shaking her head Ai turned her attention to the coach. Nodding her head she smiled and said, "Yes, let us begin then."

Kuma Dragged the Couple of Players that were Talking up back to the Gym, they were still laughing got them all big Bumps on their heads. He was a bit Angry at them but he didn't really care about that as they had a game. they all quickly went through there warm up drills but Kuma was not allowed by his Coach to Play as he had forced Kuma to Seal His Dunks which were a major part of his Game and his actually Unblockable Shot out of his arsenal.


Kuma watched as the Game began, he sighed heavily as he watched Midorima get his first Three-pointer of the game rather quickly and Takao Get a fast break lay up. he wanted to play but his coach didn't allow him.

Ai noticed that Kuma wasn't playing. Her eyebrow rose in question, but she didn't say anything. Instead she focused on the match infront of her. With Kuma not on the court, it seems like her team had their fighting spirit back. She sweatdropped at their simple thinking. Still, glancing over she knew. Just one look and she knew that the Coach of Shuhoku didn't need to always rely on Kuma, especially when they have two other aces besides Kuma, Midorima and Takao.


Ai sat there silently as the game went on. Currently it was her team on defense while Shuhoku was on offense. She hoped that her team can defend against Shuhoku, but that would prove difficult with Midorima's three-pointer shots. She bit her lip lightly as she tried to think of a way out of this sticky situation.

Takao was enjoy finally have some spot light on him as he scored with great frequency and Got many assist. While Midorima wasn't showing it, he was happy that his training was paying off as he felt his threes were falling at a better than they were before. Kuma wanted to play very badly as he saw his teammates scored and play good defense. Meikan had skill in all their positions but not enough skill to cover up for their lack of Height and experience. Midorima was staring to get hot as he started to shoot from far and far away even past half court.


it was half time and the score was 50 vs 30, Shohuku was leading, the coach then said very Loudly "KUMA, You Going in!!!" Kuma had a massive Smile on his face while the Shohuku ha small grins on their faces, Meikan's were ones of pure fear as a Massive Animal-like Aura radiated through the Gym as Kuma stepped on the Court.

Everyone shook with fear as they felt Kuma's animalistic aura as he entered the court. They were all staring at him in fear, noticing the change, Ai decided to call a time-out to get them back into place. As her team exited the court, they all had looks of defeat already. Ai snapped at them, "Hey what is with your faces!? Stop it, the game isn't even done yet! Now get back out there and show them what Meikan basketball is all about!" Ai didn't want to see her team lose hope even before the game ended.


She looked towards Kuma as he had a smile on his face. She sighed as she accepted the fact that boy loves basketball even more than anything. Smiling she just sighed, seems like they could agree on one thing at least.

Kuma looked around the court and saw the fear in the eyes of the players but he didn't play yet as that Girl called a timeout, He sighed as he wanted to get right back in there but he couldn't yet. after the time out, Kuma asked for the ball and got it. he saw that his man was sagging off him and just shot the ball with new and surprisingly Perfect controlled jumpshot as it had a perfect back spin as it splashed perfectly he smiled softly then looked at Ai and nodded as a way of saying thanks.


One Quarter later


Kuma scored 40 points in the just one quarter of basketball and it was now the fourth and final Quarter of this game, also had 15 rebounds, 5 assist and 9 blocks. he was playing like a monster but he said to his team which shocked them "i score fast if i was allowed to dunk." he really was a monster.

Ai watched on with a stern face. Inside she was worried and panicking but on the outside she shown a strong side so her players won't be affected. She would always praise each member when they scored and encourage them for the next one if they don't. She saw that Kuma was able to do his shot that he showed her the other day. Seeing him smile and nod towards her, Ai couldn't help but smile back.


Ai saw the score and felt her heart sink a little. Sure Meikan wasn't the strongest but they definitely weren't the weakest either. If anything, if they don't play against the generation of miracles than they would be considered strong. Knowing that it'll take a miracle to win, Ai could only encourage them even though in everyone's mind they were already defeated.

Kuma wanted to play harder and harder and he did scoring, rebounding and stopping many layups and dunks. he really was a monster in the eyes of Meikan, one that was unstoppable once he got going. Kuma's Aura on the Court was becoming even more Beastly and Wild but he still played like Basketball baller instead of going fully Street on this Team.


The Game had end as 109 vs 85, Kuma was allowed to Dunk which he took great pleasure in doing as he slammed it down on everyone from the Point Guards to Centers which made them all feel horrible as they couldn't guard him or block him once he got in the air. he just loved embarrassing them but he wouldn't want to destroy them, as that was just Rude. Kuma and Shuhoku were packing up as they were staring to leave, Kuma walked Over to Ai and asked her "would you like to walk home together." he knew that she would say no but why not ask.

Ai just watched as her team got destroyed so easily. She frowned and at the end her entire team stood there after shaking hands with the look of absolute defeat and embarrassment. Approaching her shocked team, Ai spoke up, "Hey now, what did you guys tell me the other day? That you guys play to enjoy it and not for competitive reasons! So did you enjoy it?" The team slowly got their energy back. Ai smiled softly at them as she finally told them her move and transfer, bowing lowly she said, "Thank you for everything and I wish you all the best of luck. Perhaps we will meet on the courts once again" with that Ai has finished all business at Meikan high school.


As she was exiting the gym, she saw that Shuhoku was still there, but she remembered that they were from nearby. Then Kuma approached her and asked to walk home together. Ai stared up at him surprised, if it was any other day she would have rejected him, but since she felt a bit melancholic she said, "Sure, I'll meet you at the front gate then...I need to go change and grab my school bag." Saying that Ai turned away and went to go do as she said she will.

Kuma smiles a little as Ai said yes, he want to understand her more but he felt that the walk might give him enough time to learn about who she is. He could tell that she was surprised by his question, he knew it was kinda strange for him to ask her if he could say something like that with more of a soft phrasing but he wasn't the best talker so he just said it straight out.


He nodded to her s she had to change, he also had to change as well which took him very quickly to do. he went out the Gates of Meikan waiting for Ai. he texted some people from school about stuff like school work or just saying hello, he turn off his phone and still waited for Ai to appear.

Ai got dressed and grabbed her stuff and just headed towards the school gate. She saw that Kuma was already waiting for her. Smiling she walked up to him and said, "Sorry for the wait.Shall we get going then?" She smiled lightly up at him.


As they walked Ai looked around and noticed there was a convenience store, "Hey do you mind if we stop by? I'm kind of feeling for some ice cream " She said with a sheepish smile adorning her face.

Kuma nod as she spoke with a smiling face, he really wanted to get to know her a tiny bit better. He said "don't worry about, it's all good." He was happy to see that she came and was willing to go with him.


Kuma saw the convenience store and heard that Ai wanted some ice cream, it has been awhile since he had ice cream so why not. He said "Sure, I'll even buy the ice cream you want." He went into the Store with Ai and got his flavor then asked Ai for hers.

Ai was once more surprised by his gentleman like behavior, he really was more than meets the eye. His attitude is the complete opposite of how he is in court. She will have to get used to this, her smile fell as she thought or perhaps she never will get to see him again.


Shoving such thoughts to the back of her mind, she turned her attention to Kuma. Putting a finger to her lips l, Ai contemplated hard and then said with a large smile, "I want that strawberry and vanilla one!" As he bought the ice creams, Ai smiled up at him and gratefully said, "Thank you so much, Kuma-kun!"
