Hello! (...again)
It's been a while since I've been on here! Unfortunately, I've had a PRETTY hectic time since I've last been online, but that's no excuse for being missing in action! This is an updated thread since I've gotten into a lot of new things since my little (2 month) break!
Other than that!
My name is Kay and I've been roleplaying for a while! I'm an acting major with a LOVE for writing and plotting! I get WAYYYY too into worldbuilding and lore, so I hope someone reading this does, too! I'm usually in uni, but I'm home for the summer! So I have all the time in the world to roleplay!
I only have a few rules, that you'll need to follow!
RULES
1. I'd like to roleplay with someone who's grammatical and concise, one who'll answer my questions OOC and also give me the stuff to work with throughout the replies of the roleplay.
2. I'd like someone who's semi-literate/Literate (I mirror!) so either or, I'm fine! It's usually a "quality > quantity" person, but one-liners are NOT my thing!
3. Someone who'll match my energy over characters/plots! I need someone excited, and I need you to show it!
4. Now, My reply times vary - because there are days when I'm busy and can't reply, and I understand people have actual things to do - But with literate roleplays, I reply every 1-3 days, usually my replies being once every day - as SOON as I see that message, I'm typing - so if you have a pattern of replying every 4-7 days, I'm probably not the best partner for you!
5. If we're doing a fandom roleplay, I ONLY double (ccxoc) I'll do for you, what you do for me!
6. Furthermore, I'm also ghost-friendly - just that cherry on top!
7. Did I mention I like enthusiastic people? YES! But I'll do it again! Send me everything about OCs! Playlists, Commissions, Headcannons! I LOVE THEM' ALL!

I adore LGBTQ+ pairings, (I could claim it's my forte!) So If you're like,,, really against them - best to not! Because I love incorporating them when I can!
I do ALL pairings, other than playing a male in an MxF roleplay,, NOT my thing! I'm bad at it and get bored VERY quickly!
I like anything If it's a little gay, so if you have any - PM me!
I'm also an avid writer, so many of these are little series/movie ideas I'm too lazy to make a script for hehe
(MC is my character, YC being yours! If roles aren't specified, I'm open to either role.)

MC has been paying back her debt by fighting underground. Not necessarily legal, but It pays better than just athletic boxing. Best to say she has a couple o' scars that won't be going away any time soon. Years and years have gone by, where she's been beaten most nights of the week, without the care of others around her. In some twisted way, her prayers are answered when she doesn't take one punch too well, and she's rushed to the hospital - where her traditional parents find out what she's been doing at night.
On a break from beating, she's in a sling with a constant scowl - she's feeling pretty tense! And her mother's disappointment doesn't help! Yet, surprisingly there's no talks about how she could've died - rather how her profession was simply unladylike. In a pathetic attempt to sway her decision to carry on fighting, her mother takes her to a ballet show - to somehow inspire her to be something she isn't.
Yet, something inspires her. Oh, something does. YC is the main dancer in this show, and MC is immediately smitten with their care toward every move - such a contrast to MC's lack of such. There was something about YC's show that called her name - and as soon as it ended, and MC's mother's eyes were elsewhere, she slipped off into the night to find YC - to promise whatever they wanted from her. Dopamine was a good enough feeling, good enough that people would do such unhealthy things to enhance it - drugs? why? To crack down on this epidemic, the government created "Pleasure Island" In which.. It was exactly what it was! Casinos, Bars, Shooting Ranges, Banquet, Pimps with workers of all shapes and sizes! A small island with "tourists" of over 700,000 per year! Usually, people think to take their addictions to somewhere so managed, that there aren't many chances of anything bad happening.
One day, a body is found in the city square - someone untraceable! someone unrecognizable! In one way or another, our characters happen to be on Pleasure Island, curiosity killing the cat as they work together to figure this out, sorting out their differences throughout the amateur investigation.
