Hello! I am looking to do some one on one roleplays. I love to write and I've been feeling inspired lately, so here goes. 


About me: I'm 19, I'll be starting college in the next few weeks but I will still be online almost 24/7. As it currently stands, I am online all the time and I reply fairly quickly. When I start college, my replies won't be as quick but they'll still be regular and I will still be able to reply mutliple times a day. I write a lot, usually. I do suffer from writer's block frequently but it doesn't last long and I go back to writing long, four or five paragraph replies. I like to write a lot and I love character development and all the really insignificant details. Most of my plots are slow-burn, I like long-term partners and I don't like skipping over small parts just to get to the juicy plot. I like to work my way up and see how the characters and story progression goes. Because of this, I want a long term partner, someone who wants to see that same progression. 


I like Modern/Realistic settings, I am a sucker for slice of life stuff and I hate the "let's go save the world" type of plots.


Requirements: 18+, I like dark themes to have a place in my RPs. That doesn't mean it's going to be fully of angst and unhappy stuff, not at all. But I can't write just pure fluff and cuteness, though I can do RPs that are mainly fluff etc, I still need something else. I can write sex-scenes and that type of stuff, but due to RPN's rules, any RPs that take place on here must fade to black. My requirements for a parnter is that you must be able to write properly, no one liners or text speak. Obviously typos and grammar/punctuation mistakes are fine, but no lazy writing. Other than that, I don't think I have any other requirements. 


I'm looking to find a decent RP partner, but also to find someone to talk to in OOC and get to know. I also want to use this as a way to improve my own writing and character development. 





Pairings: These are character pairings without a plot, we can either think up a plot together or you can give me a day and I'll come back with a few prompts I've found from Tumblr or something. 


I can do MxM or MxF, but I am more inclined to do MxM. In MxF, I would play the male. I don't play female characters, but I might be persuaded in certain pairings/scenarios, so don't be afraid to ask.

• •  ALL of my face claims, ALL of my characters will be of Korean ethnicity. I cant explain it, similar to how I can barely play female characters yet I myself am female. I can't play caucasian characters without feeling uncomfortable and I end up getting disinterested in the plot. • •


Plots: I don't have many plots right now, however I do have a collection of prompts which I can adapt to these pairings. Feel free to message me if you have any plot ideas that fit with the requirements and/or pairings I've already listed. Just let me know which pairing you want to do and we can come up with a plot together. 


Most of my plots/pairings will have a romance aspect. Those that don't have a romance aspect will most likely have a darker aspect, if that makes sense. I like to focus on a side part of the roleplay besdies the plot, so with the plot going on there will also be romance or there will also be some kind of dark theme going on at the same time. So as long as that occurs, I don't mind. But generally, my plots/pairings have romance. 





I'm willing to RP on RPN (forums or PM, I don't mind), Skype and Discord. I don't mind using any of those so just let me know which you prefer. I'm going to be coming back to update this post frequently, so I'll be adding and taking parings away and same goes for plots and what not. I'll also be updating with any requirements I forgot to add etc. Just message me or post here if you want to do an RP.


• Update [6th Sep] - I wont RP with everyone who asks. I don't have much inspiration/motivation right now, so I'm trying to get into 1x1s slowly, and therefore I'm only going to do RPs which I feel invested in. Meaning that I have to get on with the person I'm RPing with and I also need to be interested in the plot/characters. Which shouldn't be a problem, but I just thought I'd put that out there.

I could answer everyday though it would be mostly at evening in Germany(CET 4-11 pm, more time on weekends).


Question: How much is more than a one liner, what is enough? I can for sure write more than a line but it won't be a novel itself (maybe 5-10 lines depending on story settings) and I wouldn't call it detailed for my taste.

As for one liners and stuff.. I am okay with short replys and what not, but just as long as it isn't basic. I understand lack of inspiration, writer's block or just not knowing what to write, but it's fine if 1) the reply is longer than just a sentence or two, and 2) the reply has some depth to it. 


I'm not okay with posts that are simply one action or piece of dialogue or like 2 lines of description. I like to be able to feed off the other person's reply, so as long as I can do that, then shorter replies are okay. Obviously long, lengthy posts are better but shorter replies are still okay.

Dude I don't go quite as long as 4-5 paragraphs but I can usually get up to three, 4 if I push it. Generally quality stuff though, I try not to just fill space with words. It's really easy for me to do at least four if we're doing something more complex or some world building though. 


I have a mafia type plot that I'm actually planning on posting tonight or tomorrow that I could totally do MxM on. I'll message you when I get it up?

i might put more detail into the topic but this is basically the jist of it


 


Mason Albright runs the local underground crime. He has his fingers in just about every illegal pie there is in the city.


character A doesn't know who their real parents are. They have vague memories, and try not to think about it, they were found alone in the woods by Mason, who adopted them and raised them as his own, in a surprisingly loving and stable environment. They are set to take over for Mason (if they want to) or sell all of the assets and use the money when he retires and hands everything down to them. 


However, the mayor seems to be making good on his promise to eradicate crime, which spells trouble for our family of two.


character B is the mayors child, who knows exactly the illegal actions that go on behind closed doors of their home, and doesn't hold a lot of compassion for their parent. They would like to see the mayor shot down as much as mason would, character C is an intern and aspiring investigator, who catches a lead that they think will lead to mason and finally bring the crime lord down once and for all, but is finding more and more evidence pointed towards their beloved mayor, whom they have also interned for and are rather close to, and character D (can double as character A if we don't have enough people) is a part of Mason's mob organization and is posed as a fellow intern working with character C, delibrately trying to both gain their trust and throw them off the scent.


 


who is ultimately loyal to who? And how does it all collide, especially since all lettered characters just started classes at the same university?

I generally answer every day, and I hope the timezone wouldn't be a problem (I'm UTC+1). I can do any kind of RP, including detailed, though I prefer something less demanding. I'm talkative, so I just can't do one-liners. It's just impossible for me! I don't mind dark stuff, but I have a slight trigger on cutting and suicide attempts in general -- I'm fine with it being in the story, I just don't want it detailed. One more thing: my characters will (very) probably be Indian, and if you're fine with that, then everything's just perfect
