Basically, demons were born from the "father of (man-eating) demons," Kibutsuji Muzan, and the head of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Ubuyashiki family, are essentially cursed (ie. will die young) with Muzan's blood running through their veins, and as such, they seek to kill him.

Well... this is a fandom RP, so I wrote this interest check post thinking about people who have watched the series or read the manga already. That's why I would highly suggest immersing yourself in the fandom's lore and world first to grasp a full understanding of what's going on and the context of everything. But in all due respect, if you're not familiar with the fandom, frankly speaking, this may not really be the RP for you.
