Juniper Eushlade

Age

19

Gender

Female

Personality

June is typically the no-nonsense type of fighter, who will go after her enemies with absolutely no qualms or second thoughts. She has trained herself to not care too much about people, however that occasionally slips for those who work closely around her. In the end after getting close to someone she will become extremely protective and risk her life just to keep everyone happy and together.

Truth be told, every time she kills a person she prays at night and cries alone. It is a very large burden on her shoulders, but she figures that she must keep up the passive façade, otherwise innocent people will die.

Otherwise Juniper is generally cold and calculative. She can solve most problems with logical thought and reason, though this limits her imagination and capability of keeping hope. See, she believes in things like fate and destiny, so when people do die she tries to brush it off as much as possible... Though that normally doesn't work.

June is a big advocate for revenge, and she secretly holds a lot of grudges against anyone who gets away and or hurts her.

What were doing before being recruited

She was trying to uncover conspiracies in her local village. This led her to commit multiple murders on the leaders and scientists in her area.

She made a vow from there to protect innocent lives and do away with anyone and anything evil.

Name

Lulita Foust

Age

20

Gender

Female

Personality

A strong-willed fighter who would sacrifice her life just to save a person's life whether they are a foe or friend. She can be reckless at times but thinks logically for the outcome before she act on her trusty blade. She doesn't leave anyone behind and will throw herself in as a shield to protect others from getting harm though she will harm herself. In honesty, Lulita is a great companion to have and will surely leave a good legacy if she were to ever die any time soon.

What were doing before being recruited

Actually, Lulita was aiming to be a baker for her village. She loved to bake sweets and cook delicious meals for others but she never did got to fulfill her dream after being called to her duties. She was a knight ever since she was a baby since her father was a knight before but had retired from his duties from old age and her older brother already serving the country this year marking his 3rd year protecting the town from enemies. Her father gave up his place and passed it on to her since she was the last to follow in her father's footsteps.

Though she planned to be a baker, she didn't mind a good adventure and she also wanted to prove her worth as a knight in place of her father. Lulita soon made a vow to serve her king and protect the weak, the duty of a knight lies in her hand as the weight shoulder on her that her father had carried before.

Name

Iksander Raynewood

Age

15

Gender

Male

Personality

Iksander is quiet, polite, a bit of an introvert. He's loyal to the bone and not afraid to die for his beliefs. Being as young as he is, he may still have child-ish tendencies that can only be removed by growing older. However, despite that, he does his best to keep them to himself. Iksander is very respectful but also silently demands the same respect given to him. Although he is the youngest of the knights by far, he will not stand to be treated as a "child" and wishes to be thought of an equal with his fellow knights, Lulita and Juniper.

Iksander may be quiet but he has a very wrathful temper. However, he keeps it inside and is excellent at holding his emotions and concealing his expressions. When you do get him angry enough, he is terrifying as a child can be. Not known for expressing himself, it will come at a complete shock as he throws away any relationship he had with the person he is angry with and will not hesitate to treat them as an enemy rather than a friend. Iksander does his best to quell his anger and no incidents have happened for a long while yet there is always a chance he will explode and he may do something he will regret for the rest of his life..

What were doing before being recruited

Iksander was being trained by his father, a retired knight. Iksander comes from a long line of Knights in his family and has always known that one day, he too will serve as a knight. He did not have a choice but accepted his fate fairly easily and without complaint. So far, he seems to enjoy being who he is but it is not certain if it is truly what his heart desires.

(Perhaps we can each come up with a story of how we were recruited as a flashback but have the present day be the first post)
(Combining the two as the first post, not just the present day. Sorry if there was confusion ;w;)

(That'll work Aki.)
Today was a sunny day. And the king was out for the annual parade in celebration for the finding of the capital. They have no idea how many this would make. This city has been around forever. The earliest recorded parade was around three hundred years ago. The streets were filled with celebrating civilians cheering for their king. The king was sitting in his open roof carriage waving to the people. Then in a split second a pale white blur swung in and stole his crown.

"Get that man!" The king yelled to his guards. Four guards nodded and followed him. The guards got to a alley way with a dead end. They had their swords out ready if he attacks. The thief had his back to the. He was looking around for a way out. "Turn around and give us the crown and you might live! Or we'll cut you down where you stand!" The thief chuckled and turned around showing them his skinny frame that are covered in scars, and his snow white hair and eyes. "I'm sorry sir. But I really want to live. And this crown will help out greatly."

The guards glared at him. The captain nodded. "Bad choice sir." One guard lunged at him for a stab. The thief spun around him making him stuck his sword in the wall. The thief climbed on top of the guard and and jumped up grabbing the top of the wall and climbed over the wall and landed and was caught by a dozen guards pointing swords at them. The king walked up and held out his hand. "May I have your name?" The thief handed him his crown. "Jepitha. Jepitha Walters." The king nodded. "Come with us. I have something we can do you for you."

Jepitha nodded and followed. "Like I have a choice." A hour later they made it to the castle. The king sat on his throne while Jepitha stood there. The king spoke. "I see great potential in you Jepitha Walters." Jepitha nodded. "Well that's great and all. But what is my fate?" King stood up. "We're gonna send you to knight school. Your're becoming a knight." Jepitha nodded. "But I'm sixteen sir. Becoming a knight usually starts from when your only a baby." The king shook his head. "Not necessarily. And I'll allow you take any combat or survival course you want. And if you collect the materials. We'll make your weapons and armor." Jepitha smirked. "Well sir. Say hello to your new knight."

Six years later and Jepitha has made his way up the ranks. He learned how to use a sword and shield. He learned how to fight up close when he learned Judo and Karate. And just two years ago he saved the king from a white dragon and used his scales as his armor. With that he gained the nickname. The white knight. With that people say that he's the best knight that ever served. And today he waits for the new recruits in the castle courtyard. Because today he becomes the one thing he never expected. Teacher

~Flashback~

Harder! Use your body to swing HARDER! Use your sword as you would use your arm! Left! Right! Block! Good! Keep going!

Iksander panted as sweat ran down his face.. He was in his family's training yard with his father, the famed knight who once bested seven knights in combat all on his own. Retired now, his father spent every day training the new knight in their family, Iksander. Iksander's legs wobbled from exhaustion. He was drenched in sweat but bravely pulled his unsharpened sword up in a combat position. His father stood across from him with a unsharpened steel sword and shouted more commands at him.

Block again! Again! AGAIN! His father relentlessly attacked Iksander from all directions and Iksander blocked each one with perfect precision. His father laid down his sword and nodded to Iksander, a content smile on his face.

You are learning well. It is time for you to take your vows as a knight. Young you may be but I was younger when I was called to the battlefield and now our king calls for you! Remember your training and may your sword never miss. You leave tomorrow morning with the king's knight, Jepitha. Put away your sword and call your mother. We will spend time together as a family until it is time for you to leave.

~End Flashback~

Iksander now stood with his fellow knights, newly made recruits. It had been only a week since his departure and already to his dismay, he found that he was the youngest of all the new recruits and so far, many of the guards he had passed had given him a look that made Iksander seethe with anger. They looked at him as a child, rather than a knight. He would prove them all that he was as worthy as the rest of them.

He walked into the courtyard where Jepitha, their teacher was waiting for them. Iksander bowed to him respectfully and stood at attention, waiting for his other recruits who he was yet to meet personally.

It was a pretty cold day in Juniper's village, though the temperature seemed to reflect her feelings to a T. It had been 5 years now since her parents were caught up in all of the stupid townsfolk fodder, and because of such were killed in front of everyone. With her little brother already slain in the last battle, June now had nobody to fill the empty void that clouded her. She wouldn't go as far to say that it was depression, though it must have been close if all she does is lay around and take jobs that only interest her. Currently she was reflecting upon her decision in becoming one of the king's knights... What this entailed was being trained by some legendary knight, although she hadn't ever actually heard of him personally. What was really so great about killing human lives? Even if they were corrupted and evil... But if Juniper questioned such things she would just be considered a hypocrite, mainly because of the fact that she herself had killed many in her time...

She was to leave this cold village... Before she did, it was at least important that she got to help them... June wasn't one to hold grudges necessarily, (What a lie) so when the time came to uncover secrets and help the innocent, she had to murder people... It was her job as a person really... One who treasured humanity at that. Not that the girl would ever show her emotion towards such a thing though.........

Tomorrow was the last goodbye.

~

Juniper, looking stoic as ever, maneuvered her way through crowds of people in the warm streets... She was finally on her way to learn some things of use, that is if she didn't already know them...

While walking past all of the rather serious looking guards, June made an effort to make eye-contact with every single one of them, as if to prove why it was imperative that she attend these lessons. Her eyes were cold and wild, and her long deep silver hair swayed behind her..

Finally reaching the courtyard, June didn't bother with any respectful motions, and she didn't even offer up a greeting... The younger boy interested her a little bit, for she wondered why such a youth would be made to train for killing and bloodshed, however she would never voice her opinions on the matter.. Her façade was the type to make people think that she didn't care about anything or anyone, when in reality Juniper was constantly worried about future events and problems.. Not only that, but she really worried about her fellow comrades, no matter how much she dismissed the thoughts in front of others.

Now that I'm here.... I can never return to those happier times............ She thought, slightly frayed from her past memories.

Nevertheless, Juniper was ready for the training to come.

(Sorry for the delay! >.<)

The day seemed more energetic than usual as the young lass walked through town with elegance and confidence flowing through her veins. Her heavy armor glowed brightly under the sun and her long light brown hair flowed in the gentle wind that brought cool breeze to wipe away any nervousness she had swelled in her stomach. Today was an important day for Lulita as she was chosen to be one of the king's knight, the day she had been waiting for all her life... well most of her life. In reality, she was suppose to become a baker but that dream was put on hold as she was called for to follow in her father's footsteps and show what she was made of just like her brother who was off somewhere far away on duty for something more dangerous not even Lulita could do, well just yet.

Walking through town, she was amazed by how lively everyone was thought it was no different from her village, the people seemed to shine here more brightly even brighter than the sun with their big smiles. Seeing kids running and waving at her, Lulita couldn't help but wave back to them before she noticed a row of knights all stood film and strong awaiting for her arrival. They all stared at her with those eyes to judge her appearances as Lulita only gave them a smile, not a goofy or silly smile but a bold, determine smile that a knight should have. Her eyes shined with confidence that she would become just like them and stand strong.

Giving them full eye contact, some seem to snicker at how a woman like her was here while others seemed to either daze at her beauty or smile back as seeing her as a equal with them. Walking past them all, Lulita made her way to the courtyard where she seemed to be the last to arrive, Lulita feeling embarrassed at how slow she was but at least she was here, walking over to the three knights. Observing the strangers, she noticed one of them looking as a child, her mind confused why a young boy like him was here but she couldn't judge him so easily now, giving him a small smile to welcome him on board and turning her glance to the next person. The next knight was a woman, Lulita quite happy to know she wouldn't be the only girl though... the girl seemed to give off a strict form, her face blank but her eyes, icy blue showed some kind of feeling as if concern of something though it was unsure of but Lulita go any deeper than that, giving the girl a warm smile to ease her worries, she then turned to see another knight but this one seemed a bit different from them all. The air around him seemed to give off a more elegant air as if he had more experience than them all.

Lulita knew who this man was of course since he was the one to recruit them all including Lulita, giving the man a proud smile, she took a bow and lowered her head a bit,"My deepest apologies to arrive so late. I, Liluta Foust, has come to aid the king at his calling under your teaching White Knight." Liluta spoke rising from her bow and standing next to the girl as Lulita's smile creased to a more serious look,"Shall we begin our training, White Knight?" Lulita questioned as now that she had finally arrived.

-Ughhh.... this looks bad >.<-

Jepitha nodded at Lituna's apologies. He looked at his recruits and nodded. "Good morning you three. Welcome to your official day of training of knighthood. I've heard you three already have experience in the ways of combat. Enough experience that it caught my attention. Which is a good thing. Now whatever your background is won't effect my opinions on you. Let your skills do that. Now first off lets get introductions out of the way." He pointed at Juniper. "You seem like the least caring out of the trio. So you can start."

(@BEX)

Least caring wasn't exactly an understatement when describing June, however this kind of struck a nerve deep within her heart when it was mentioned. That being said, Jepitha would probably be the last person she would defend in a battle now. That's what a person gets when jumping to conclusion after all..

"Ah, right, right... Not everyone can be specifically set on their peers as Jepitha I see... Though I must say that my name is on the finer spectrum of the J's. That being said, I'm Juniper Eushlade. It's very nice to meet you all, and I do hope you can find a way to bear with my 'careless' personality." She said, stating her own opinions somewhere within the spew. June wasn't typically the kind of person to be entirely without care, however if that's what this "perfect" knight wanted to think, then so be it.

Jepitha nodded. "Thank you. And a pleasure to meet you Juniper." He looked over at Lituna. "Your turn ma'am."

(@DeijiiChan)

Lulita giggled when the White Knight asked for her name though she had already declared who she was and what family she represented but she must have not clearly got to him. Fixing her composure, Lulita gave him a sweet smile as cheery as she was putting her fist over her heart,"I am the daughter of Pierre Ray Foust and my name is Lulita Rose Foust." Lulita spoke with pride,"But you could call me Lulu for short." She added,"A pleasure to meet you and I hope for us all to get along well." Lulita said finishing her introduction but she then turned to Juniper with a bright smile, holding her hand out for a shake,"Also nice to meet you Juniper. I look forward fighting alongside you." Lulita chimed, her bubbly feeling taking over to loosen up the stress on them. After their little introduction, Lulita turned her attention to the last one, the young boy from before, his blazing red hair shined brightly in the sun,"Young but tough... good combo." Lulita thought a playful grin playing at her lips.

Jepitha looked over at Iksander a quick and soft smile. First time he showed a smile in a while. "And you good sir. Your turn to share." Even he already knew who he is. At least he knew his father.

Iksander did not return the smile from Jepitha nor Lulita. He swore he would not act the boy and he can already tell that Jepitha was treating him as young child rather than a knight. He could tell from his soft smile. It was as if he was a scared little boy, out of place, not belonging in this world. He did not smile back.

"I am Iksander Raynewood. I am the son of Tywin Raynewood, Knight of the Falling Sword. I am honored to have been chosen and recruited to become a knight and follow my father's footsteps. I am young but my father younger than I when he first took his vows. Do not underestimate me. I am honored to meet you, fellow comrades." Iksander said solemnly, his face a mask that hid his emotions.

Jepitha nodded. "A honor sir. Your father was a great knight. One of the best." He cleared his throat. "Now with introductions out of the way. Let's see what you. By going against me in one on one combat." He walked over to the sparing area. Which was a rectangle about twenty feet by twenty feet. Jepitha looked at his recruits. "Who want's to go first?"

(Is anyone preparing a post? If not, I'll make one but I wanted to ask first just in case I don't override someone else ;w;)

Iksander stepped forward. This was his time to show that he was more than just a child and prove to everyone that he had the potential that his father had. Iksander can remember all the times he went to the marketplace with his mother, everyone greeted him because they knew of him. Not because they knew him personally. Everyone knew his father and that's how they knew about Iksander.

Your father is so brave!

Your father is the greatest knight ever born!

I wish my father was a knight like yours!

It was always "your father" this and "your father" that. Everyone respected Tywin Raynewood as the person he was, but everyone respected Iksander for the son of a great knight. Today, he would show how well he could fight.

"I will go first sir Jepitha. Please, do not go easy on me on the account of my youth. Fight me as hard as you would any other. If I am bruised, I will wear them proudly." Iksander said, staring at Jepitha with clear, bright eyes that showed no fear.
