KINGSMAN

SUMMARY

Kingsmen is a term referring to the men and women who work for The Kingsman Secret Service. The Kingsman is an special elite force more secretive then the MI6 themselves. Every four years a 'Job Interview' of sorts is held between eight teens of varying ages, and social backgrounds. The job interview itself is highly dangerous, with every year taking the life of another teen.


The interview consists of several HIGHLY dangerous tasks, each testing the teens capabilities and necessary traits to be a spy. The tasks test the teens in the fields of teamwork, pressured problem solving, stealth, observatory skills, general knowledge, trust , and pain tolerance.


With the Arrival of a new and suspicious operation known as Aztech (Yes spelled that way) the Kingsman prepare themselves for another year of the most intense and grueling Job Interview in the world.


Kingsman is based on a comic by Mark Millar, who also wrote the comics that the movies Kick-Ass and Wanted were based on. (Along with chunks of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.) And it's directed by Matthew Vaughn, who previously directed Kick-Ass (and co-wrote it with Jane Goldman, who's also back.)


So if you saw Wanted and Kick-Ass, you pretty much know what to expect from Kingsman. Along with a few others, these movies have helped define a kind of subgenre of comic-book movies, featuring ultra-violence that's so stylized and crazy as to seem cartoonish. They skirt the edge of satire but never quite become full-on comedies, and they dial in to the ids of young dudes, serving up a massive dose of escapism and "gritty" fun.


The roleplay itself will be the eight teens applying and fighting to get the job. Who wins and who's eliminated will be totally randomized, so who gets the job is at the hands of the dice. I will only be accepting eight character sheets, and the rolelpay is first come first serve, so no reservations. I do ask that you read the comic or watch the movie before joining.
