Fantasy Kingdom's Vow (Opening)

Eden Smithe]"Yeah... Maybe .. But i would never have learned all the things you taught me. Or have such an incredible friend either!" He laughed but felt unneasy when the drinks came. "I've never drank before Ayame... First time for everything i guess!" [URL="https://www.rpnation.com/profile/27741-kpopsenpai/ said:

"Don't get all drunk on me, Eden!" She exclaimed as she drank half of her first glass. "It will be bitter sweet."

(Omergawd. The kingdom is letting someone who just turned 15 have alcohol. Atherton is the greatest kingdom. We're laid back af xD )

Eden picked up the drink and looked it over before smelling it. "Hmmm...." He looked to Ayame, shrugged and took a gulp. Immediately he wanted to spit it out, but he kept drinking for some reason. "Its... Good... But terrible at the same time." He laughed. "I kind of like it!" He took another sip.

(an alcoholic is born xD )

Catie finally stopped at a pasture. Jessica got off her and pulled out some sugar cubes out of her pocket and fed them Catie. "Good girl... you deserve them.." Jessica whispered to her as she petted her mane back in place. They were all over the place after them running to the other side of the kingdom. "I guess you're my babysitter now Catie," Jessica laughed as she just sat on the floor and laid next to Catie. Catie looked down at her and started to eat some grass for more energy. "Go enjoy yourself Catie, you deserve it," Jessica yawned as she was hidden in the long grass. The wind blew on top of her as she felt some of the grass brush against her. "I remember going here all the time with you guys Catie. Jackson, Benjamin, Teresa..." Jessica's voice started to get dreary. Catie walked over to her and put her head down, as a signal for Jessia to get on her back just in case they depart before Jessica could wake up. Jessica nodded and got up, getting on top of Catie, resting on her back. "Night night Catie..." She yawned.

It wasn't the most comfortable place but it wasn't terrible. It was away for Catie to be able to walk home without leaving Jessica behind. She continued to eat the grass as Jessica breathed softly on her back. Munching on the grass, she looked over to the right, leading towards the Kingdom Theiya and then looked over to the left, leading back to the castle. Catie knew how much Jessica wanted to go, might as well take her. Catie can protect her and Jessica. Well at least Jessica. She started to head towards the right, walking to the Kingdom of Theiya, hoping they aren't going to harm them.

Eden laughed and hiccuped as he downed the rest of his drink. "Maybe thats a good thing! Hehe..." He lost his balance and fell if his stool. "Haha... Silly me!" He sat up and brushed himself off. "I suppose i should be getting home now! Its gettin rather late!"

"Thanks for the good time Ayame!" He stubmled out of thd bar and walked a few feet to the castle before he fell into a stack of hay, falling asleep almost immediately.

(logging off for the night. Bya all!")

Everest shot awake when it was night. She yawned, stretching her arms in the air and looked around. "Well nothing seems out of place. Well done my animal knights!" Everest said smiling as the horses neighed. The young knight stood up and cracked her knuckles. "I guess I should get ready for the dinner." She said still can't believing that the king actually invited her.

Anexius had watched the execution from the shadows. The kingdom of Theiya which was themed dark and dreary actually made blending in absurdly easy. While his own armor typically stood out in its design, the dark tones of it made for easy camouflage, more so because of the colors of Theiya.

He watched the king walk up to the platform where the spy was held, along with a knight he recognized. She was quite renowned for her ferocity when charging into battle, something that impressed him. He watched on as a sword was passed to the king and then to her. He narrowed his eyes with disapproval then, the king was making someone else do the execution for him. While Everest kept her mask of calm, the stiffness in movement as she shuffled up to the prisoner did not go unnoticed by him. Already knowing what was to happen next, he disappeared as quietly as he came.

The strength in the King's proclamation of the fate of enemy Athertons. The crowd cheering for their king. The crowd cheering over the death of a man who was only serving his own kingdom. He did not have the heart to be around such a disgusting display of power disguised as an execution.

He made his way back to the castle, slipping back in unnoticed as if he had never disappeared. His mind spun with thoughts of the execution and whilst it wasn't the first one that had happened this month, it still left a bitter taste in his mouth. Perhaps it was because he hadn't met anyone here who shared his sentiments for war and peace and he had to keep everything bottled up.

He took a breath. He considered looking for the Prince and asking him how it was but he knew it would be improper. Princes didn't entertain knights such as himself but he couldn't help but worry about the boy. Those father son squabbles usually left him in a terrible mood after all. He stood back at his post, which was in a corridor that the Prince passed through frequently to his quarters, his mind filled with thoughts until eventually he allowed his mind to places more light-hearted.

Although the majority of the day had gone by, Casey was unrelenting. There was no way to know for sure, but it was possible he had forgotten the day of the week, for he had been digging longer than thought humanly possible. Indeed, you read correctly. Casey was digging, and he hadn't stopped for over seven hours. Digging where, you may ask?

Well to the kingdom of Theiya of course!

It had been quite a while since Casey had seen Prince Cobalt. Longer than what should've been legal. A loyal and devoted admirer should never be deprived of seeing their beloved, so Casey planned on digging a tunnel straight to Cobalt in hopes of putting an end to this god-awful period in which they were forbidden to see each other. It truly was their own version of Romeo and Juliet, except that Casey, unlike that lame-ass Romeo dude, planned to do something about the force that was keeping them apart. He also planned to not die in the process.

Wiping away the slick sweat from his forehead, Casey grinned to himself, finally reaching his destination. He could see the light through the cracks in the tiles, signifying a room. He wasn't too sure which one, but he was pretty sure it was in the palace. Hopefully.

I know what you're thinking. There's no way Casey could dig a tunnel all the way to Theiya, not even in seven hours! well, dear reader, this has been quite an ongoing project, dating back to the first time Casey stepped foot in to the palace of Theiya. Call it whatever you want, but Casey liked to refer to it as his "Psychic abilities" (I know, super lame). He claims to have sensed bad blood between the kingdoms, and in order for the two princes to not get get caught in the crossfires, he devised a plan to dig all the way from kingdom to kingdom. It had taken years.

Casey brought a calloused finger tip to the tile. From what he imagined, it should just pop up. He gently pushed against it. Nothing.

He pushed a little harder this time, not wanting to be too forceful in case he caused damage. Nada.

Casey re-positioned himself, placing both his palms against the cool tile. He jerked his strength upwards, forcing the tile up, and gentle light filled the dark hole he crouched in. His head popped up to where the tile once was, and he discovered he was right where he hoped.

in the kitchen.

Casey scrambled out of the tunnel, he topless chest and raw arms being exposed to cooler, more breathable air. Once he was out, he replaced the tile to his original position and sprinted to take cover by a doorway. Casey crept along to find a grand staircase, and as he bolted up the steps, he was suddenly reminded of his nakedness. The tunnel had been almost completely lacking in air, making clothes seem torturous in the trek. Casey had figured a while back that going naked would be more comfortable, and it would save his clothes from getting dirty, too. The grime-covered teen sprinted harder up the steps and through a few corridors, appreciating the fact that pretty much everyone was still milling around after that horrible execution. The lack of sympathy was unlike Casey, but he was too preoccupied to worry.

The naked hooligan pressed his back against a wall, his hot flesh melting against its contrasting cold. Inching closer and closer to the nearest room, Casey quietly opened the door, slipped through the gap, and shut it again, all in record timing. The room seemed to be a study.

He breathed out in relief, but perhaps too early. Casey's breath hitched again, noticing a dark haired figure draped over a large cushioned chair.

Shiiit.

((Sorry this is so long!! I promise my posts will be within the limits next time.))

Cobalt wasn't able to move watching the execution. It's not that the violence bothered him, he grew up with bloodshed. But it was the fact that one of the only knights that weren't thirsty for blood was able to slice a head right off. He kept his eyes on the ground below him, watching as citizens below cheered on for the display. It was sickening, through understandable. He kept his cheek, which was now turning pink and fitting the form of his hand, pressed against his fist.

He had no clue of the presence that was in the far corner of the room watching him like a hormonal teenage boy. That was way out of the ordinary for the young male, he was usually so observant. He sat up a little straighter, trying to break out of his trance.

[ I'm sorry but I can't get over how he's naked, my god why? ]

Ayame giggled, waving goodbye. She yelled at all of the Knights, rounding them up. They all sang a song as they walked out of the bar. As they made their way back to the castle, Ayame stopped when she saw Eden sleeping on the stack of hay. She sat down next to him and then hugged him, muttering her brothers name.

"I do not murder my enemies, I only let them decide their fate and I make those decisions for them."

Edeltraud waited patiently to calm herself until nightfall. She got up the throne and decided to check on her daughter. As she staggers in the hallway, two guards were patrolling along her way. They saluted for her in return, then resume back to patrol. She had a gift, something that she wanted for her birthday. Edeltraud promised Jessica to meet her at 15th birthday. And now, this was now the time to greet Jessica at her birthday.

As Edeltraud head to Jessica's room, Six knights including their captain were guarding to her daughter's room. The male servant was feeling edgy when she arrived on scene. She oddly stared at the male servant and something fishy was going on. "What is with your anxious expression?" she said with a glare. "Uhhh, Mistress. You're h-h-here, I was going to tell you that..." She retorted, violently yelling over the male servant. "Tell me what is going on! Spill the beans, you filthy causal!" The male servant was trembling in fear, immediately answered her back. "I-It's Jessica..." She unaware of this, Eden had him watching over her, but she never been informed from him. This isn't happening, Jessica left without a word, she doesn't even know that there's a war going on.

"
I want the entire dispatch team ready, this instant!" Edeltraud exclaimed in pure anger. "How many times do I have to punish you for leaving the grounds!?" She is left with frustration and likely broke her scale of temper. "I want Eden Smithe in throne room. I am going to get the bottom of this. Like it or not Eden, you will tell me or I will have you punished." She covered her face in disappointment, while she mumbled angrily to herself. Jessica could end up in enemy hands. Even worst, getting herself captured if she gets to the Theiyan border.

The sun was shining brightly as the birds above tweeted. Catie was still on her way to Theiya as Jessica woke up to her movement. "Catie... Are we almost home...?" Jessica sat up and rubbed her eyes. She stretched her arms high up into the air and then bent her left arm, holding her right arm and stretching to the side, doing the same to the other side when she finished. She yawned once more and looked to see that they were no where near home. "Catie... Where are we going...?" Catie neighed and pointed her head straight.

Jessica didn't understand. She twisted herself to look behind her as she saw a faint castle in the distance that looked liked hers. It was the Castle of Atherton.
"W-Wait..." Jessica rubbed her eyes to try to see clearer. She noticed the gates to Kingdom Atherton was in the distance as well. She was on the pathway of Theiya and Atherton. "C-Catie??" Jessica looked back at her white horse and hugged her. "Aweeee! Thank you thank you thank you!" She smiled delightfully. "If you're doing this for my birthday I thank you!" Jessica couldn't stop smiling to a point her cheeks started to ache. "Come on let's go!" Jessica held onto Catie's leash as she started to gallop even faster. "Kingdom of Theiya!! Here I comeee~!"

Eden woke up when the bright sun rose, hitting his eyes. He yawned and looked around him, noticing the Ayame was there, holding him. It felt nice, but Eden was not sure of what to do. It was his daily duty to check on the princess after sunrise but he did not want to wake Ayame. "Hmf..." The more he thought the more he realized his head was aching. It wasn't unbearable, just a rather annoying, beating pace. He ignored it for now. "

"Ayame?" Eden whispered. "I have to go..." He said again softly. She did no awaken, so Eden tried to slip out of her clutches, to his surprise it was a tight one. He couldn't seem to get himself free.

Man, did this girl have a tight grip!

"Ayame... haha..."
Eden chuckled as he continued.

Jackson had wandered away from the execution, deciding that tomorrow's Royal dinner, to which he had been invited to would be the perfect time to reveal the news to the king. What better way to relive every single detail of his exploits than over a hearty feast and a glass of the best wine in the kingdom? Perhaps, in his drunken stupor, the king would be much more grateful for Jackson's services and reward him accordingly? Jackson grinned and then headed towards his home, a mansion near the city square which offered a perfect view of the kingdom.

His home was another specimen of the king's generosity, and of course, Jackson's expert spying abilities. Over the course of the many years during which he'd worked for the royal family, Jackson had accumulated enough wealth to last him a lifetime's worth of alcohol and women. Lavishly decorated, perfectly equipped with the most modern amenities, it gave him a sense of pride every time he crossed the threshold of the carved, wooden doors. It was a pity he didn't spend as much time in Theiya - and yet another reason why he enjoyed returning home so much.

But this evening, when he walked into the smell of roast chicken wafting from the kitchen into the carpeted foyer, he showed no appreciation for the carved statues, or the ornate paintings, or the exotic flowers in China vases. All he could think of was lying on his comfy feather pillows and drifting off into an undisturbed and well-deserved sleep.

***

As his eyes fluttered open, Jackson noticed the sunlight filtering through his lacy curtains. Eyes bulging open, he checked the grandfather clock which sat in the corner of his room. He couldn't believe it. He'd been so tired, he'd slept through the entire day yesterday. He stumbled out of his bed, his legs weak, and got dressed as quickly as he could. With a sigh, he pushed aside the carefully arranged plate of scones his butler had left at his doorstep for breakfast with his feet and made his way to the stables.

The smell of horse and hay was so strong, he couldn't help wrinkling his nose in disgust. He led his black horse, called Anastasia, out of her pen and rubbed her gleaming coat as she ate a few bits of carrot from his palm. With a leap, he mounted her and rode out of his mansion, past the markets and entered the green fields of the countryside of Theiya.

Far away, glinting in the sunlight, he could see the white towers of the palace of Atherton, towering majestically into the blue sky. He stopped his horse gently, taking in the breathtaking view.

Not of the Atherton palace, but of a girl riding a pure white horse.

Her long hair, which spun in the air like woven gold, streamed behind her. She was young, with not much of a chest, but the bluest eyes he'd ever seen, lips so well carved, a thin body draped in colors as bright as the sun. He snickered to himself. The poor girl was from Atherton, and from the looks of it, royalty.

His eyes widened with realization.

It was the princess of the Atherton.

He couldn't help but smile wickedly. What luck! What brilliant luck had brought him such an opportunity! Hs heart leaped with joy as he imagined all the money flowing into his hands from the king when he would realize what a marvel Jackson was.

He regained his cool composure instantly, not wanting to scare off the princess. It was a golden opportunity lying just away from his reach, and was going to grab it with all his might.

As she neared, he flicked a few strands of his dark hair from his eyes (a move he'd learned that girls fell head over heels for) and spoke in his seductive and deep way. Blocking the path of her horse, he called out to her. "And what have we here? Why is such a beautiful lady, such as you, wandering around lost in the fields of Theiya?" He smirked, awaiting her reply.

(Sorry for the long post, I was trying to catch up with the RP. The time difference, though :( @xMellowmint )

(Nah It's all good~)

Jessica turned her head, left, right, then back to the left as she looked at the beautiful scenery around her. She remembered the view when she always came to visit Theiya back then. It was honestly the best part when arriving to Theiya in her opinion. She felt her heart pound the more she thought about the memories here. Catie started to slow down as she saw a figure in the distance.
"Hm..? What's wrong girl..?" Jessica leaned in closer on Catie as she snorted her head forward. Looking up, she found a man with a black horse. Catie walked closer to him slowly and stopped as he showed a sign as if he wanted to socialize with the girl.

He flicked his shiny black hair out of his beautiful ruby red eyes and looked at Jessica in the eyes. Jessica felt her cheek get warmer as she made contact with him. His voice was smooth and deep. Honestly one of the most attractive voices she has ever heard.
"And what have we here? Why is such a beautiful lady, such as you, wandering around lost in the fields of Theiya?"

Jessica took a while to reply, since she was just amazed by the way he looked. She shook her head slightly and took a deep breath, coming back into the real world.
"O-Oh! I'm not lost. It's my birthday and Catie wanted to take me out." Jessica chuckled and looked down at her horse, patting her head. "She ended up taking me here since it's been a while since I've visited. My parents told me to stop coming here but I was never told why. I guess my horsey knew I missed this place badly.." Jessica smiled brightly and looked back up at the male. "My name is Jessica by the way. May I ask who you are?"

Eden walked around and made his way to the castle, going up the stairs to find the princess's room with the guards still there, telling him the Princess was gone. Eden turned to Ayame. "Shes gone?! Shit!!!" Eden freaked out, it was his exact responsibility to make sure this did not happen! And yet, he did the opposite! She had talked about visiting Theiya, this was not good. "A-Ayame, what do I do?!" Eden's voice was clear with desperation, but mostly fear. "The... The queen!"
