Jessica just looked around at the guards and just hid behind Jackson, since he was actually tall enough to hide behind. But the more she thought about it, Jessica doesn't need to be scared. Her, being the ignorant blond princess she is, ran to the Theiya guards. "Help meee! They're trying to kidnap meeeeeee!" She whined as she went to hide behind the Theiya guards. Jessica pouted and made a puppy face at one of the knights. "Please protect me..." (That's you Everest. Just in case you didn't know)

"Princess Jessica!" Ayame almost screamed.

Eden ran after the princess trying to grab her. "Princess no, please!" He couldn't catch up to her before she made it to the guards. "Let her go right now!" HE tried his best to sound menacing, hiding the great fear he had within him.

Everest made her way through the group of knights and ended up in front beside... Not Commander Peter? 'Commander James? When did he-? Nevermind that now Everest!' She thought to herself and shook the thoughts away focusing on the threat in front of them. "Atherton Kinghts! How dare you insult us with your presence!" The commander said in a gruff voice. Everest had her sword drawn ready for some action. She listened to the say they just came to get the princess and laughed along with the knights. "I doubt the princess of your pathetic kingdom is dumb enough to set foot here in enemy land!" James said shaking his head. He held is sword high ready to give the signal to attack and seize.

"We came here not trying to harm anyone. However it is upsetting to hear you insulting us!" Ayame exclaimed. She didn't want to start a fight but... it looked like another war was to break out.

Everest looked down at a blonde girl who ran up to her talking about how the infiltrators came to kidnap her. "It's okay, we'll make sure this scum won't take you." She said and patted the girl on the head. "Not only do you insult our kingdom, but you come trying to kidnap one of us!" Everest said even though she knew it was not right for her to speak she couldn't help it. "Stop with your lies and prepare for yourselves!" She shouted and she looked over at the Commander. He nodded at Everest and then yelled as loud as he could. "Attack! Try not to kill them, they shall face Theiya justice!"

Eden looked to the commander. "Wait wait wait!!" He pleaded. "We don't want any trouble, please! The battle of Corinth brought casualties to both sides, we don't need more, not while we are sill recovering!" He sheathed his sword. "Look at your kingdom! The beggars on the streets! Focus on improving lives, not taking them! Let our kingdoms share peace, why not for a day?!" He tried to reason.

Richard walked down the hall at a brisk pace, well, really he is always walking like that, nevermind. He continued to walked down the hall before being stopped by a boy, close to Cobalt's age, his breath was ragged and inconsistent. He took a few deep breathes before saying in a squeaky voice, "King Richard, Atherton Knights seem to be down at the gates. Knight Everest and Commander James are handling the situation."


Richard offered the boy a smile, ruffling the child's hair, "Thank you, my dear boy. I will remember your service." He walked away, a grin on his face, perhaps this would cause a war, oh how he would want there to be a war, he had been plotting and gathering Theiya's strength for war.


Once outside the castle he made his way to the Gate that the incident was occurring, flanked by knights clad in black armor, his most elite guard. Though his steps could be heard the most, putting fear and spectacle into the peasants and commoners that were attending to their normal life. Once he arrived at the scene he stopped and gave a small clap, the column of guards halting behind him, "Well, well. It does seem like we have Atherton Knights here." That devilish grin of his just got bigger. He offered a nod to Everest and James, almost one of praise, yes, Richard can give praise. Raising an eyebrow at Jessica he walked over to her, knelled down and offered a smile, "Do you know who I am? I know who you are."

Jessica just stayed behind the knights of Theiya, watching them and then looking at Ayame and Eden. She was worried that they were going to get hurt badly. A shadow hovered over her and she heard a clap right behind her. Jessica turned around and found a whole bunch or guards right behind her as well as a tall male. He knelled down and gave her a soft smile, asking if Jessica knew who he was. Jessica's eyes widened and squealed slightly. "Uncle Richard!!!!!" Jessica exclaimed as she smiled brightly and jumped into his arms. "I missed you I missed you oh I missed you!" Jessica wrapped her arms around his neck as her soft hair semi surrounded them.

Richard smiled and picked the girl up, she was still rather light, he lifted her into the air and gave off a small chuckle, "Hello, Princess Jessica, how have you been?" Truth be told he like Jessica's family more than his own, though, it really only was him and Cobalt. Still, his personal ambitions and goals trumped his likeness of Jessica and Casey, he'd kill the both if it meant ruling Atherton. He continued to smile though, giving a short gasp as he put her back on the ground, "Jessica, I think you grew just a little! I'm surprised!"


Richard looked at the guards and told them to stand down, "Keep an eye on the other two. This little one is fine though." He looked back at her, more like down at here, his silver hair gleaming just a bit, "Oh! It is your birthday, isn't it? I have a present for you." God did Richard hate the Facade of playing the compassionate King or Kind Uncle, though, he did like Jessica more than Casey, perhaps her bubbly attitude rubbed off on him.

Thats all we want!" He edged closer, without his sword. "Times are bad as it is, just give us the princess and we will be on our way..." His voice cracked in fear, talking to the King he had heard so many awful stories about. "P-Please sir... jus w-want the princess..."

Jessica nodded and twirled once as her hair and her dress flew with the air movement elegantly. "Yup! I grew at least two centimeters at the most!" Jessica clapped her hands excitedly despite if literately being nothing. Jessica had to keep her head held high to make eye contact with Uncle Richard. "It's either that I did get taller or it's because of my shoes..." She giggled. Jessica turned her head towards Eden and then back at Uncle Richard. "You got a present for me?" Jessica smiled even wider as the sun made her eyes sparkle.


"P-Please sir ... jus w-want the princess.."


Jessica shook her head. She really didn't want to go home. Jessica looked back at Eden and Ayame, frowning a bit. Turning her direction back at Uncle Richard, she crossed her arms and gave him a stern look. "You promise not to hurt Eden and Ayame right?" Jessica glared at him and held her pinky in the air. "Pinky promise it! You know what will happen if you break a pinky promise!"

Richard couldn't help but chuckle at the bubbly girl, "A whole two centimeters! No way! You are lying!" He patted her head as she clapped and giggled, doing normal Jessica things. He offered a nod, "Yes I do! I'm having a Royal Dinner tonight! Jackson will be there too." He pointed at Jackson before going to one knee and whispering into her ear, "There will be cake and pies too." He offered her a playful wink before standing back up.


Richard rose an eyebrow at Eden, the stuttering boy was a sorry excuse for a boy, even Cobalt would have more steel than this kid. He strode towards Eden, his steps loud and carefully placed. The guards put their hands on their weapons, gripping swords and Halberds. Richard didn't even care if Eden and Ayama had swords or weapons, he tightly gripped the boy's shoulder, staring into his eyes, "No need to fear, I would never hurt my dear niece. I am also inviting you two to my dinner." He offered a slight grin before glancing back at Jessica, "Of course I know what happens!" He looked back at Eden, "A dragon steals your family and a witch steals your virginity and turns you into a frog." He offered a chuckle. What was Richard plotting...
