KILL THEM ALL!!!
A tentative pitch about barbarians doing barbarian things, like killing and killing more things. This is intended to be a relatively quick-paced, goofy hack and slash kind of roleplay that may or may not move into horror territory but is generally meant as a power fantasy for bloodlusting insomniacs such as myself. Everyone is a barbarian, and having formed a covenant amongst each other you've all been summoned by the king to clear out a very crowded, monster-ridden dungeon. At the heart of that dungeon is a literal dragon heart festering in it's hatred for Gaia and all her creations, fueling the never-ending flood of demonic rotting beasts. The only thing standing between you and death is your own unyielding fury.
The main gimmick? In order to maintain your rage and not die to the swarms, you need to maintain a killstreak throughout the entire campaign. If you can't reasonably (or creatively) explain how you kill something per post, you will be overtaken by an exhaustion lasting for a fifth of the number of posts it took to keep your killstreak going, with the lowest exhaustion count being 1. You'll no longer be able to fight until the end of this count, leaving you open to getting eaten by the hordes if no one covers your back in time.
Otherwise, how you interpret everything else about your character, including how their rage manifests, is up to you. I only ask that your rage is able to inflict physical damage somehow.
*General Rules and Posting Expectations*
- Banking on a post once a week. If you don't give any sort of heads-up within two weeks I'll assume that you've abandoned the rp and will sacrifice your character accordingly.
- As much as mini novellas are loved and appreciated, your posts are not at all required to be long and eloquent. A couple of sentences that get across your character's action and help move the dungeon dive along are better than no post at all.
- This was intended to be a solely-PVE campaign, but if you're looking to do serious PVP in the middle of an active dungeon be sure to ask the people affected for permission first. Any attempts without asking can be ignored.
- 18+ due to the overall nature of this RP.
- Jerk characters are expected here, but please don't be a jerk OOC.
- General RP Nation rules apply.
A basic character sheet for brainstorming is below, along with an example NPC. As you could probably guess, the worldbuilding for this world is your typical medieval fantasy setting, but the world isn't as important as the characters so you're highly encouraged to come up with your own lore additions. After some interest, I'll get a more detailed CS, an ooc thread and a main thread up!

Core Concept: Cat Familiar Berserker
What drove your character to serve under the covenant? - Tibil the Scratcher converted to Tibil the Sinner after dedicating his life to the blood covenant of a ancient god that taps into the never-ending pool of primordial frenzy, unlocking all mental blocks and unleashing the full potential of the body.
What is Rage to your character? - To Tibil, Rage was the sense of powerlessness that had slowly built itself over the years. His master had granted him the ability to take that powerlessness and completely flip it on it's head. His natural felid abilities increasing ten-fold, there is little that can stop his assault on the damned who brought forth his fury.
Misc -
"Were I a jaguar, I would've dug out the marrow from your skeleton..."
- Tibil the Sinner, having already flayed an opponent's flesh straight off their bones.

Lastly, this is my first time GMing since I was 10, so please let me know if there's anything missing here or any ideas to make this more fun!
