David at one time was a upcoming special forces operative until he jumped out of a helicopter to save his squad and snapped his left leg in the act. He received a bronze medal for his bravery and purple medal for the wound. After returning to the states he realized how fucked up shit was, after the first super hero came about he knew it was something worth investing in. He bought an old building in the city and turned it into a bookstore using his military pension, surprisingly it went well for his store. After getting a lump sum of money he renovated his house and built a secret underground armory. After building it he began filling it, when he first suited up he could barely run because of his leg. So after getting more cash he bought a powered leg brace that would allow him to use his leg completely. Over the time he's been loose on the streets fucking shit up he's built a big reputation for being one mean son of a bitch with a good taste.
