Fantasy Kerim's good ol' searching

Kerim

:)
Hey, you! Yeah, on the chair. You want to roleplay? Of course, you do, ah, how kind of you! Now you're not getting away, muahaha!

Now that I have oh so brilliantly garnered your attention, let's get to the main thing - but first! A little introduction, since you might want to know something about your kidna-, eh... host, hehe.

I'm Kerim, or Mirek if you prefer real life names to internet pseudonyms; up to you how you want to call me, and I'm a little high school student who has been really, really craving for some old fashioned roleplay. Ah yes, I have. Since I haven't been in a 1x1 roleplay for quite a while, I might be a bit rusty on the whole roleplaying and replying thing, but bare with me! I'm fairly good at writing once I get enthusiastic about it...
I-I swear...

If you haven't got it yet, I am quite the talkative type and won't hesitate to strike up a conversation out of character - so be prepared for some casual chatting on the side, please do. As far as it goes for writing the story itself, I tend to stick to the '3-4 paragraphs or accustoming myself to my partner' sort of deal, but a quick warning! I really am not one for one-liners, it always makes me feel like the person that makes them isn't really trying. If you feel like you're in a one-liner situation, then add something to move the plot forwards! Don't make me be the only one that puts effort into it, pretty please.
Oh, and one more thing; please don't ghost reply... I'm quite frequent in my replies (I can reply daily almost all the time), so if you're going to be on leave for a bit, then do tell me! Otherwise, I'm gonna annoy you like the little annoying guy I am.

Now, onto the settings themselves!

It all started off rather poorly. When Muse A's father, a well-known general of the royal army passed away due to an unknown illness, his daughter was left in the spot that could be called ideal - taking his spot instead. But where the leadership slot did bring money and possible fame, it also brought over rumours. Ones that she was too weak to be a leader, that she didn't deserve to be even a soldier and others, less child-friendly ones.
Muse B on the other hand, wasn't a man of too much honour and loyalty. As a hired cutthroat, he followed orders of nobles in another kingdom. And one day, it was Muse A that was his target. He did his research and prepared himself to go on to meet her.
Humanity had its one big flaw; the capability to end its own very existence. Late twenty-second century, it managed to come very close to that; as materials and supplies trembled, orthodox trade routes were under severe pressure from both rebels and officials alike, a worldwide war ensued. One that all countries participated in one way or another. After years of conventional warfare, nuclear weapons were brought into play and Mutually Assured Destruction pact threatened to destroy the entire world, no matter your nationality, ethnicity or beliefs. Those unfortunate enough were blasted to kingdom come, forgotten and washed away. However, there were others that survived; using several methods.
One group comprised of scientists and high ranking individuals amongst armies and governments that managed to seek out shelter in atomic bunkers. After the fallout receded, they went onto the surface and spotted the world to be a desolate place. However, they did not give up and started to painfully slowly rebuild the civilization back to its former glory. Twenty-third century and they stumbled upon documents detailing the past of other survivors than them. Ones that fled Earth in several giant spaceships to colonize other, faraway lands in the rest of the galaxy.
Twenty-fourth century. Humanity on Earth is back to its peak times, with science and logic booming to avoid such a fiasco that was the world of Nations. Technology is at its finest and finally, humanity is starting to break the light barrier to travel outside the solar system. After decades, they meet their former selves - the humans that had fled the planet. They only hardly remind them of themselves as evolution took place and made them biologically adapted to all kinds of other terrains. At first, their relations are cold at best, as the two major powers in the known universe compete over resources and political power to spread their influence.
But it couldn't stay peaceful forever and the 'Real Humans' as they call themselves attack the 'Explorers' in their first ever space conflict - one never seen before. Entire systems are captured and sometimes even enslaved, and many citizens of Explorers are taken in to be tested and eventually become lab rats.
The Humans become the leading race in the Earth Empire and establish trade routes, mines, research agreements and they seem to prosper well - on behalf of the other species who became tyrannized as a result. After decades of this despotism, rebellions eventually begin brewing up; due to the inefficient and vast bureaucratic complications of Earth Empire. Muse A raises as the leader and a symbol of the Rebels.
But before they could start anything, their long-forgotten cousins appear; those that had split apart from Explorers long, long years ago, before they even managed to colonize their first planet. Muse B is the leader of this pact of nations and as a true outsider has been observing the growing occupation of the 'Earthers', as they call them and, unsurprisingly, is not too happy about it. Not long and the two factions form an alliance, and Muse A and B are supposed to partake in a traditional marriage to symbolise their close bonds. A war is brewing on the outside and dilemma of cultures and conflicting ideas on the inside.
Author's note: This is a long one and still is VASTLY oversimplified. If you wish to write this story with me, be prepared for many characters, doubling, politics, even nation building, and a bit of romance sprinkled in between.

Hey! I've got the perfect character for your prompt, Muse B... The one I have in mind is a fandom character from a webcomic called This is Not Romance, but I also have an OC that would fit if you want!
The character's name is Sid, and he thrives on chaos. He generally lives to see the world burn, and has a great liking for harassing people and generally making any situation more stressful for anyone involved. He definitely values some things over disorder, but nobody really knows that.

Alright then, I've sent you both messages and also updated this thingymajig with a whole new prompt, which I've been craving to do for quite a while! As an added thing, you don't have to reply to this thread to 'ask' if I'm fine with roleplaying, I'm almost always open, so just shoot me a message if you want!

Alright, bumping again, because I believe all the people that have sent me PM's thus far have been kidnapped and stopped replying!
