Unfazed, Reynardine went closer and closer until he was mere inches away from the cat. He then stooped down so that they were face to face, his eyes locked on hers. "You claim that I am some foolish rich man who pays his slaves to do menial jobs, but you're wrong. It was he who came to me, the one who offered his services. I didn't need a gardener, but I could see his need for work, which is why I hired him. Now learn to hold your tongue, you do not know the stories of the people you insult and mock." He said, his voice neutral but his eyes were blazing in anger.

Nora scoffed, taking this chance to back up and slice at his face. "You do not command me, I am a free spirit. Now stop trying to change me." She growled. "I do what I please, and I just need my home. Don't bother me and I will have no problem." She said, her fangs barred. "But if pretty boy here tries to tell me to hold my tongue again, don't expect me to react with hugs and kisses.

He was unfazed and he did not even blink as the sword slice through the air, mere inches from his face. He even dared to bare his own fangs at her, but his looks more of a challenging grin, which might probably be what it is. "Sure, fine. I'm not here to steal anyone's home, in fact, you're even welcome to visit, just don't try to kill my friend." He said, smiling at her. "Wait, so you mean that if I let you do your own thing, I'll get hugs and kisses? My, now that is a tempting offer." He said with a lopsided grin.

Oscar slowly backed away from the crazy girl with the syringe. "No, you are not going to get my blood." He said stoically. He shook his hand as he moved it away from her bruise. "Please don't ask me anymore." He stated as he hid behind a tree in an effort to distance himself from her. "Just don't."

Nora growled. 'As if." She said. 'I have long since hated people who call me a house cat, and or try to tame me." She said, her eyes still narrowed at him. "It would not be wise to poke and prod at me." She warned again. She had already shown hostility to this man, and she wasn't afraid to do it again if needed.

He laughed, but a gentler and kinder laugh this time. "Don't worry, no one's trying to tame you." He said, moving back to a more respectful and comfortable distance. "I was just saying that, maybe it would be better for all of us if we don't jump into conclusions start waving our weapons." He said, dropping his weapon to the ground. "The name's Reynardine Crevass, which actually means Fox Fox." He said, chuckling at the irony of his name. "Any way, I am the owner of the garden you are in right now, as well as the Apothecary Shop up front. This is my companion, Viren, who works in the gardens." He said, patting his friend's back. "What's your name?"

Nora felt her gaze soften a bit, standing up strait. She took her blade and sheathed it, not showing a smile or a frown, but rather an impassive face. "Nora." She said in a firm voice, deciding not to show emotion for the better of the two parties. She felt her ears twitch instinctively, her tail brushing across the legs of the man behind her.

He smiled as she introduced herself. Well okay, it wasn't much of an introduction, but it was a start. "Nora, what a beautiful name." He said, which is actually true. He looked behind her to see a man he have barely noticed. He looked very much like a human, and his scent confirms it. "Care to introduce this man, who seems to be human. Is he a friend, an acquaintance, a captive, a lover?" He said, looking at the man.

Nora blushed a bit. "Acquaintance I will have you know. He got into my home and I do not trust him to leave to the city without taking anything." She said. "As for his name, I haven't a clue." She said, looking at him. The hadn't actually gotten to that part of the conversation before they where cut off by the snake.

Viren simply watched the situation as Reynardine spoke with the girl. When she swung her sword he hissed rattling his tail. He slithered around until he was pat on the back and he flicked his tongue out of his mouth. Viren rattled his tail staring at the girl with his slitted pupils. His brown scales running against the ground and he clenched his fist making his knuckles crack. Even while they were making idle chit chat he slithered behind them shaking his tail intensely.

Ina Tiran

The girl blinked in confusion as the rabbit KM quickly scurried off in a hustled speed. Ina's master scratched his head as he watched the polite man dash about then disappear. He stumbled a bit in surprise , then glance down at the girl "Ina..." He sighed, glancing at the weakened Bat KM and the foxish girl. Ina spat out a series of stuttered words to try to explain with a spread out array of hand gestures. To an average ear, the words might have sounded like gibberish or a random list of jumbled words but the man seemed to understand the incomprehensible phrases. "Shh shh calm down Ina, your friend just needs to get whatever chemicals out of his system an he'll be as fresh as a flower soon enough. But until that human presence is gone from the premises...I don't want you wandering into that forest alone." He stated sternly with a low chuckle. The white dog whimpered softly "But...M-Master Vadim... the apocathary is over in forest....how...will I get my herbs?" She asked as he read her lips. It would be quite a problem, especially since it was the only place where one could find the best dried herbs for medicines and teas. "Well you'll just have to wait, I just can't risk loosing my closest friend." The man ran his fingers through his graying hairs, looking over at the other two KMs. "Welcome back Mr. Bernard, you're a quick one eh?" He grinned ruffling Ina's ears while her silvery jingled. "I suppose I should introduce myself as well...my name is Vadim Galkin. If you don't mind me asking young man..where did you run off to so suddenly?" While he spoke she scurried around, racing into the tiny, wood floored kitchen. Soon she returned back with a tiny cup full of dried, black peels. The white dog came to Mark's side on the recliner and began feeding him the extremely bitter Bergmont orange peels; The main ingredient in earl grey tea. "B-Brother...here...please eat this.." She stuttered.

Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard brushed the dust off his black dress pants, mumbling about having to get them thoroughly cleaned later. He looked at Vadim, standing up straight again. "I am a rabbit, sir. I am quite quick. I had to put Mister Nicholas at ease. He is my current caretaker and owner, and also a close friend of mine, though our large age difference may make it seem otherwise. He is the leader of Nicholas Vintorbul's Magic Traveling Troupe of Actors, and I am his assistant." He flicked a deck of cards seemingly out of nowhere, holding it up in the palm of his hand out to Vadim. "We are actor's mostly, but the main attraction is the magic show. Allow me to demonstrate. Please, take a card from the top, middle, and bottom of the deck. Don't let me see, or else it will be ruined." He stood rigid and straight, utterly professional. He took his tricks seriously, though they were more than just tricks. "Please, feel free to pick anyone from the middle, but make sure that you take the top and bottom one."

Mai Hinawo

The violet haired girl gave the white winged boy a wild grin. His reaction entertained her greatly "Ah, since you asked so kindly I'll make sure not to ask next time." She smiled lightly, her body language and her expressions were cheerful and non-chalant despite her words. Excitement ran through her veins, if the bear KM Kumbara wasn't here there would have been nothing to restrain her from strapping down each an every creature she came across into cages and metal tables. So much much she could do without this little cop in her way... "I'm a bit hungry... Do you two know anything I could eat in this forest?" Mai asked, with the dead body of the venomous snake still slung over her shoulder.

@Metaphysics

Tony blinked at her warily, wings twitching nervously as his eyes looked at the gun, then at the bear. he shook his head silently to Mai, and looked at the bear KM and tilting his head. If the bear left then he'd keep an eye on the girl, though that could always prove a problem because of her tranquillisers. He absently wondered why she hadn't hit them all with it so far, she could probably take out the bear with a few shots, and Tony himself had always been a lightweight when it came to sedatives

((Wow just in time havent I xD ))

Mark would hear her well as his vision was still the same but he could "See" well,as he would nod at Ina and would eat the peels as Ina feed him,as wen he eats one his lips close tight and closes his eyes as it was very bitter and say "Thanks Sis......I wonder what would have Happend without you helping mi"he says as he would look at her with a smiel as he was so Lucky having some like her near as he might have bin food for somthing long ago

Love kept to the corner of Vadim's shelter. She did not know how to react to this situation but she knew that she had to get back to her hunt. But some intuitive obligation tells her to stay, that it would be rude to suddenly dash out.

But the rabbit KM did it. Yeah but he came back, you would never come back.

This thought was true. She just bit her bottom lip in discomfort and leaned against the wall, wanting to stay hidden in the shadows.

She observed the others interacting. A slight smile came upon her face when she observed Ina feeding Mark. Nostalgia flowed through her. Oh how she missed her siblings, loved ones. They were all gone. Her spark of anger burned brightly inside of her. She decided that she will wait a few more minutes, and if she was not needed she shall bid these people farewell.

But then another problem arose, at least for Ina. She had to get to the apothecary, located across the forest, and that a hunting human was loose. Her owner would not allow her to go.

Love didn't want to help anymore but out of no where she offered, "Um...Ina? If you need to get to the apothecary I believe Bernard and I can accompany you over there." She felt surprise inside, surprise at what kindness she offered and that she cared for anyone else.

Rosaline turned and spotted Conner heading her way. "Oh good you are here. Now let us head out. Like I said earlier we have important matters to take care of," Rosaline said. She pushed up her hair hoping to give it more volume as she fixed the rest of herself. She quickly pulled out a handheld mirror and examined herself.

"Conner, give me your honest opinion, not your servant opinion. Do I look okay?" Rosaline asked as she turned towards him asking a genuine question.

@Beowulf

Conner had already opened his mouth to say she looke nice before the reat of her sentence had time to process. But then it finally got through. His honest opinion? If he said that she looked nice, she might take it as him still being the servant and agreeing with her. On the other hand, if he said she did not look good, then there may be dire consequences. Then there was the risk of remaining silent. So he opened and closed his mouth, not a sound coming out, and each time he had a more and more thoughtful expression on his face. Finally, he began the sentence. "I think you look..." Here he paused, looking for the right word. Suddenly, his face lit up, he had found the right word to use that wouldn't get him into trouble. "You look fantastic." he completed the sentence. There, it was his honest opinion and he didn't insult her, a win for everybody.

One of Rosaline's eyebrows raised up in question but she did not question him verbally.

Smart kid.

"Fantastic? Well that is an odd word choice and I haven't heard it in such a long time," she murmured, "Well anyways, thank you." She bent down, making sure her butt was facing him (hint hint), and grabbed her customized-designer suitcase. "Now come along, Conner. We do not have all day and by sunset I want to be having dinner at my favorite restaurant," she ordered.

Not even checking to see if Conner was following along she sauntered off, giving an extra rhythm to her hip sway as she exited.

@Beowulf

Blushing furiously and clearing his throat uncomfortably, why was his collar so tight all of a sudden, he hurried next to her and attempted to take the suitcase. Upon reaching their means of transport, he opened the door for her and motioned for her to get in. 'Please no more of this.' he thought to himself as he held the door open.

Rosaline looked up at him before she ducked her head to enter the car. She placed a hand on his shoulder and said, "Thank you." Before she slipped her hand off of him.

Rosaline shuffled herself all the way to the farthest end of the vehicle and leaned on the arm rest. She sighed thinking how boring this day was going to be, but...she does have a new friend to play with. A tiny smirk crawled upon her face as her eyes looked at Conner. A mischievous glint shined off her blue eyes.

She decided to mess with him later and began getting down to business by opening her laptop. A few clicks here and there and her eyes became cross-eyed from all the information she had to digest. She sighed, closing the laptop and resigned from reading all the required documents.

@Beowulf

He chuckled as he saw her blush. "I didn't know you could do that, being all cold and stiff." He joked, smiling at her. She actually looked cute when she blushes, her cold and stiff persona seemingly disappears for just a bit. "Hey, just so you know, you look better without the scowl." He said to her. "So, where are you two off to now?"

Nora visibly stiffened. "To the city, so I can guide him back without any disturbance to my property or the wild forest around me." She said, her eyes flicking between the snake and the other KM. She was weary of them, but she insisted that if they where going to be neighbors, she needed to behave herself.

As Conner got into the car, he could have sworn that he could still feel her hand on his shoulder. He also noticed that they sat on almost opposite sides of the car. That wouldn't exactly be the most convenient thing, but he didn't like the glint that was in her eye. But he didn't have to worry, because she had taken out a laptop and began tapping away at it. They sat like that in silence for a while before she put it away, a some what resigned look on her face. Well, he had some duties to attend to. "Ma'am, may I help you with anything? That is why I am here, after all."

He sighed inwardly, a little disappointed that she went back to being stiff and rigid. "She still doesn't trust me that much." He thought to himself, still looking at her. "So, the city huh, would you like me to accompany you? I have been there frequently, so I could be your guide or something." He said to her. "It's not like I have something else better to do."

Rosaline's eyes shifted from viewing the outside world through the car window to Conner. "Sadly I wish you're assistance could be of my aid but alas the problem is one that is associated with my father's company. And since we are already on the subject I might as well tell you," she explained. Rosaline shifted herself from the window so that she was sitting up straight and looking directly at Conner.

She brushed her hair back behind her shoulders and continued, "My father's company is at a roadblock at the moment. It seems that they cannot think of a new innovation or idea to create. While neighboring companies are excelling. Our partners are starting to get impatient and joining with other companies for new business."

Rosaline sighed and looked down to her fiddling hands, "The business is slowly dying down, and that is the last thing I want happening. This business means so much to me."

A realization came to her at that moment, never had she opened up to someone, except her father. An almost invisible smile appeared on her face.
He's so easy to talk to. But why is that? All my servants ask similar questions.
