Adilet let out of a sigh of relief, "Well, thank you for not stabbing me." And now he would make his way home, get as far away from this strange sword-bearing person. But as she sheathed the sword, and he felt as if he should start walking, or perhaps running, he had a terrible realization.

He didn't know which way was the way he came, in the conundrum that was not being stabbed, he was so anxious that his direction of home seemed to be completely erased.

He suppose it would be the way he was facing, but then again. He could have turned, or shifted his head around.

This was a terrible thing, all things considered, and he'd have to say something about it sadly.

"Er, I seem to have...Forgotten which direction I came from."

"I don't think anyone should be trusting innocent smiles on scientists with... Big... Ugh, syringes..." He shuddered at the thought of injections, like the ones back at the- "SO, I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK." He had a half hour to get there, it was close by, he just didn't want to face the past... And to avoid it he was also taking a part of his past with him to work? That made a hell of a lot of sense, now didn't it?

Nora sighed, looking up at the sky. "You must have walked a long way." She said, her eyes still holding caution. She thought he looked a bit familiar. It made her think of the Deli that she always went to back in the city. She felt her tail twitch again, her ears flicking curiously. Since she had been gone for so long, she had forgotten that humans liked words, so she stayed mostly quiet.

This was a predicament for sure, stranded in the middle of nowhere, in the vicinity of some armed assailant, who seemed docile for the time being but had attempted to push a sword through his nose earlier. All in all, this was not a day he would forget...At least until he wrote about it, and then he would probably think of it as a dream or something equally fanciful, but for now it was a bit to real.

"Would you happen to know the way to the city?"

It was an unlikely. But if she did he would easily be able to get home...Probably. And he didn't have much of an option but to ask.

Nora looked at him. She sighed, her ears and tail flicking irritably as she looked towards the distance. "I have long since forgotten where the city lies, since I chose to leave it in the first place." She said, her eyes becoming distant. "There where some good things, a specific shop over the others. It was a small little Deli that I would visit all the time to collect my master's meat." She said.

"Ah. A deli...a sandwhich would be nice now. Which is strange, since I just had an opportunity"

Making conversation with someone who had a sword to your face was generally frowned upon in society. But at least until he could figure out which way was it.

Although he had just spun in a circle to look around, and was even more turned around than before, so that would probably be awhile.

"Your masters meat? Where you...Er, some kind of house help?" It was apparently obvious that he was still unawares of the

...special traits this sword wielder possessed.

Nora growled lowly, her eyes filling with hate. "I was, then I ran away." She said. She scooted down her stocking a bit, revealing a long scar across her thigh. "One of many." She explained, rolling it back up as she looked off into the distance. Her tail shifted around her blade's hilt, making a sound. "I swear if you tell about that, I will find you and give you one two." She said.

Conner's face slowly began to turn red as he fumbeled for a reply. "I understand and trust you." he managed to practically squeak out. He had locked eyes with Rosaline's and wasn't feeling as uncomfortable as he expected. But she was still to close for comfort.

Ina Tiran

The young girl breathed a sigh in relief, watching a cabin come up in a clearing. "Um...Why...don't we just set him he-...." she stared at the assortment of cages and tables strewn around the premises, eyeing some of the creatures lurking in the shadows of the metal traps. Ina backed up a bit from the field, having second thoughts of the situation. "....L-Lets...just drop him off at my master's home...I-I'm sure he wouldn't mind..." the white dog muttered quietly, feeling uncomfortable in the area. The clearing was too sterile, too clean, to synthetic compared to the wild trees that circled the lot perfectly, the strong scent of antibiotics and the odor of a mixture of animals also clung to the essence of the place. It didn't suit her nerves well. Not even the birds seemed to want to soar over the cabin. Though the KM loved humans and all their creations...everything here smelled man-made, even the plants growing in the clearing.

Mai Hinawo

"My name is Mai Hinawo, I'll be residing in this area for sometime, I hope you don't mind Mr. Narcoleptic. "
Mai laughed as the owl pointed to her "A prick of a needle is nothing to be afraid of! Just imagine a highly refined piece of hollow metal being pierced past the fleshy layers of your skin into a major vein to retrieve a measured amount of your internal fluids. It's not bad at all." she smiled lightly at her comforting explination, displaying it in words her father had taught her when he drew blood from her 'pets'. Truthfully, as a young girl she hated the item but eventually forgot as she grew older. Years of specific teachings caused the girl to fit quite well into the mold prepared for her. "I would love to see a kemonomimi in his natural environment! I promise, I'll be like a quaint little turtle, you won't notice me." Mai marched along side the bear KM with confidence, not fearing the fact that a dangerous amount of KMs were near her base. Though her doors had no locks...no one in their right mind would want to willingly venture into the abyss of machines and distorted experiments...

Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard looked up at Ina, nodding. "I'd recommend bringing him back to the troupe's camp and have Miss Clair watch over him, but if it makes you comfortable to bring him back to your master's house, then that's fine by me. Except, since I don't know the way, you will have to lead." Bernard felt his eyepatch loosen over his eye, and quickly readjusted himself to hold Mark with one hand while he tightened the wound decoration. Once it was once again tight on his face, he held Mark with both arms again. "Well, onwards, Miss Ina."

Love's fur stuck up in discomfort and fear as they approached the horrid place of imprisonment for animals. She wanted to drop the bat KM and run off feeling fear inside of her as she can relate to those creatures. To their fear, hopelessness, and yearning for death. She can remember how depressed she was and wanted to stray from that.

A wave of relief ran through her when she heard the dog KM lead them away from the wretched place. Her fur began to settle back down and her heartbeat calmed. She felt herself gaining strength back and lifted the bat KM a bit higher off the ground.

Love continued on following the dog KM with just a straight mind of completing the task of helping out a fellow KM.

Rosaline gave a satisfied smile upon seeing Conner's face. "Good you have learned the first step, confidence," she praised. Her blue eyes sparkled with mischief yet wisdom. From the look in his eyes she can tell he was not as uncomfortable as before but still showing some discomfort. Must be because I am so close to him. Good.

She examined his face and considered it a double bonus for his appearance. "So Conner tell me now why you are here?" she asked hoping that the boost of confidence she gave him would help.

Ina Tiran

With a quick scurry, the dog KM trotted ahead with an awkward gait, the girl glanced back every now and then as she was glad to create a distance from the mass of cages and equipment. "Y-Yes...Un....I-I can...lead.." Ina stuttered quietly, quite thankful that the others were willing to help her friend. It felt odd to lead, in front of the two, feeling their eyes watching her every movement in a critical manner...the silvery hair girl flushed a bit red as she over thought the simple task of bringing them to her home. "...um...just on the corner of the road...a..a..um...you can see it past the trees." Ina leaned over and grasped Mark's legs to try to help the two carry him towards the edge of the small town. The house in the distance was rather small, a faded yellow, with distinctive red shutters. A one story with an attic, facing the boundary separating the road and the thinning trees. "T-Thank you...for...um...both of your kind efforts...I-I...I'm sorry for not accepting your kind offer....b-but...wouldn't mind...meeting Mrs. Clair one day.." She stammered, bowing her head quickly before trotting across the street.

'Maybe I should let her...NOPENOPENOPENOPENOPENOPENOPE.' He though quickly, slightly....okay....verily afraid of the syringe. He shuddered and gave a weak smile. "Sorry, still a no." He said quickly, hiding his wings until they couldn't be seen. "But I'm sure you'll find someone else that'll agree with you...wait a minute...how'd I get here?"

Mai Hinawo

The violet haired girl turned her body a little to show the white KM the large- forming bruise seen between the half-top of her shirt and shorts on her back while she continued to hold the lip snake in one hand. "You crash landed from the sky....I tried to catch you but you were much bigger than I expected..." She grinned sheepishly, shifting back to her original position with the syringe pointed at the fellow. " I believe that means you owe me something Oscar...for being your cushion on your descent..besides...what happened? Why would you fall so suddenly?? " the scientist asked in intrigue, hoping the answer will be what she hopes it to be. The girl had a hint, a silent flyer (until his fall). There was only one type of animal with that quiet of wings...and they never fly in the day for obvious reasons.

Oscar flushed, he had accidentally hurt someone. "Sorry, I fell asleep while flying..." He mumbled sheepishly. He quickly came close to her and brought up his hand. It was releasing white wisps. He gently put his ice cold hand on her bruise. "I really hope this helps." He told her as he continued. "I'm sorry for hurting you..." He mumbled just loud enough for her to hear.

Tony huffed, purposely staying away from the needle, "Why do you want it?" He growled, looking at Oscar silently before focusing his golden eyes on Mai. He tried not to look at the needle, which brought back bad memories for the wolf-avian. His feathers ruffled in slight fear, which he was trying to hide

Conner briefly swelled up with pride at the complament, he had done good. But then a slight shift reminded him of how close she was, and it disapearred like it never existed in the first place. Trying to cover it up, he answers her question. "As I have said, I was bought and told to serve." That was basically the whole of it. And you'd think she'd have known that, he was bought by her father and told that he would serve her.

Viren was in the woods near by the garden he worked in just exploring on his brake. His lower body slithered behind him quickly as he wrapped around a tree climbing up. He spiraled up weaving around the branches and resting in the strong branches about half way up its great height. Closing his eyes, he let his head back closing his eyes. However, while he was in the tree he noticed heat signatures too close to the garden. Quickly and not very gracefully he slithered down from the tree now approaching his garden. Behind him his tail rattled every now and then as he slithered around the garden keeping his body lower to the ground until he was close. He rose up from the ground making himself taller than he usually would be.

Well, as it would to any normal, this was a bit of a shock. And before he had time to contemplate why a total stranger who had tried to possibly kill him a few moments ago, was now making rather friendly conversation, and seemingly admitting a secret to him with a threat attached. Not something people normally do when they distrust someone who wandered into their home.

"I...Apologize then, I'll make sure to keep it a secret."

This was most likely a half-promise, as it would find it's way into a book one-way or another. But regardless of that, he had no intention to tell anyone about the strange, possibly violent person that had found him lost in the woods.

He then supposed he really did need to figure out which way was the city. As despite how fun it was standing in the middle of a forest talking, it would be midnight by the time he got back.

"So, why do you live out here in the middle of the forest?"

But until he could figure out which way was the city, he supposed he'd have to talk.

Mai Hinawo

Her bright green eyes glimmered in excitement as the cool chill of his hands touched the forming bruise on her back. The pain soon soothed any pain that surrounded the area. "Falling asleep while flying??" Mai asked with a slight chuckle "That's funny...I can't imagine anyone who could fall asleep while doing such an amazing thing...but don't worry about a little bruise, I get more injuries in a day than a normal person would get in a year." The scientist was smiling and cheerful, there were a variety of small scratches covering her arms and legs, face and hands with old a few bandages actually spotted around. Many people would have never suggested her to follow her father in his footsteps if they knew how clumsy she was. "So don't be sad...but if realm feel bad...I'm sure a feather from your wing could remedy your blunder ~" the violet haired girl remained persistent, even more so to the individual with wings. Flying was interesting dream...

Tony rolled his eyes, and looked at Oscar with a raised eyebrow, wanting to see if the boy would actually do it. Tony's own wings were folded slightly, though were visible to them, the feathers ruffled. He seemed to be trying to ignore Mai's needle, shuffling on his feet and flattening his ears. Personally he wouldn't let the scientist touch his own wings, but then Oscar wasn't him, though it hadn't been his fault that he'd fell on Mai. The scientist just seemed to be playing with the avians guilt, which clearly annoyed the wolf-avian, whose tail whipped back and forth

Nora sighed. "My old master was very rich and very greedy. She always had what she wanted, and apparently she wanted me. So I organized something to show her that I was the one thing she couldn't have." She said. "Her private eyes searched for me for years but never found me, because I ran to the forest."

Mai Hinawo

The violet haired scientist gave a quick glance to the wolf eared avian KM. She trapped the needle with a wild grin, watching him rifle up uncomfortably "Oh... Don't worry I didn't forget you were here..." She smiled, slipping the empty syringe away and taking out a small one filled with a clear fluid. Quickly she stabbed herself in the hands by the snake bite she acquired from gripping it's head so recklessly "Why do I want your blood? For the good of science of course! Some animals are immune to diseases that humans are susceptible to... Studying how the genetics of KMs form... How those genes interact within a body...there's quite a few things one could do with a tiny drop of blood~" she explained with a sharp look in her green eyes as she injected the antivenin into herself

@WolfOfProphecys

Tony watched her inject herself and raised an eyebrow, but huffed and nodded. He supposed if it helped innocent people, then the only one it could harm would be him. He sighed softly, "fine" He muttered, though he wasn't about to like it. But then, what was another needle scar to add to the multitude that already littered his body? He watched her closely, quite wary that she'd pounce on him in excitement, seeing as she already seemed a bit....insane
@Nekoni

Viren found the heat signature to just be some raccoons and simply bit into it injecting venom. Finishing by swallowing it whole and returning to the forest. He took a new path this time and again saw some heat signatures deeper in the woods obviously humanoid in shape. He slithered as quietly as he could listening to a conversation. Viran eventually raised his body off the ground and hissed at what looked like a cat girl and some other creature.
