This act of disrespect infuriated the bear, people didn't treat KMs as their equal, he followed the woman, not thinking that she might spot him if they reached a clearing. He wanted to help the guy out, but he also wanted to see why she seemed so familiar, the hairs on his neck rising, accompanied by the low growling crawling out of his throat. His belt clinked quietly as he began to crouch, getting down on all fours and sinking into the grass as the height of the sea of leaves seemed to have risen towards the sun, his eyes and ears turned, visible over the top of the blades as he followed the strangely familiar researcher. He then smelled someone else, along with the faint scents of other KMs and even more faint, blood. Kumbara looked around, none of these things were within his sight.
