Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard smiled, flicking his hand again, the cards disappearing almost as easily as they appeared. "Well, we have shows in the town usually, one in the theater, and then we have a free public one afterwards. Mister Nicholas is more extravagant than I, but let me attempt to dazzle you..." He slid a whole deck of playing cards out of his sleeve and bent it, the cards flying out of one gloved hand and into the other perfectly, creating a whole, straight deck. "With Rabbit Magic!" His grin widened a bit. He used that phrase when he would do his own little tricks during shows, and it stuck since the first time he used it.

Ina Tiran

The girl fluttered her teal eyes excitedly, staring bewildered and amazed as the cards alined themselves in a neat stack in the other hand. Ina let out a soft whine, wagging her thick tail as she clapped like a show seal. "Amazing amazing!" the dog KM gasped, clearly enthralled by the act. She slowly reached a hand over to the deck, poking at a card to make sure that were indeed real.

Mai Hinawo

With a heavy breath a violet haired woman heaved the last steel cage onto the front clearing of her cabin, set deep in the woods on the outskirts of the nearest city. "*sigh* I hope they're right....Commander said that there's a high population of KMs here..." she said, plopping herself on the front porch of the fresh, woody home with a wide grin. The small field was recently cleared for her research, several metal tables, vials, equipment, and odd cages lied out around the cabin for outdoor studies and experiments. With an excited movement, she opened a thick leather journal with the name 'MAI HINAWO' scorched onto the browned cover.

'Day 1 activity: Capture a Kemonomimi.'

she wrote...adding on the new entry in the half-filled book.

This doe was heavy and the more rigor mortis set in, the heavier she was getting. Bloodsong had decided to take a break by a small, clear trickling stream. He was crouched in it, washing the blood from himself and having a drink of the cool water. He kept on eye on his prize, it wasn't uncommon for other Clans to cross into their territory to steal a fresh kill... especially when it was a deer. The forest seemed quiet enough and there were no strange scents in the air, but that didn't mean he would relax and be off guard. He'd learned from that mistake already in the past, which ended with him both injured, and prizeless. Once the caline was clean enough, he padded back to the deer, grabbed the ropes again and continued on his way.

Nora followed, somewhat ungracefully as she looked at him. He had food, and he was extremely close to her home. Now she was curious. She held her sword out in front of her, growling as she followed. He was bound to find out some point that someone was following him but she was seriously surprised he hadn't noticed her yet. She shifted the winds a bit, training it to her advantage as she waited for him to notice. His marks made her curious.

Mark

Mark would trip over a small rock because of he being blinde,as he would sigh as he lays on the ground as he would get up and his ears Pop up as he kould hear so many thing all at once and was anoying but he needed too get some view,as his wings would unfold from his back and would start too flap them as he gains air and would lower his hair so the sun dosent hit his eyes,as he would start too fly above the trees as he needed too finde stripes as he has bin gone for a wille that little bat

Stripe the frute Bat

Stripes would clap his small wings togheather and chirp 4 times as the man makes his magick as he was very imprest of it and he wishes too see more...Much more as he never knew people could be this good and he wonders what else can this man do,as he would lay closer too Inas neck as he whanted too be confy and aswell she got close too the man and he kinda dint like geting close too people he dosent know

Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard smiled as she poked one of the cards. He pulled the deck back and tapped the side of it on the palm of his hand, making a slick clack. "Madame, the show has only begun. The whole concept of magic is wildly called 'fake' and the like. But if it was fake...could I do this?" He held the deck of cards up, then bent the cards so they flew into the air. As the last card left his hand, each individual card burst into flames, burning quickly into ashes and falling into the ground in a small pile. He smiled wider. "No normal concept can be directed to that event, aside from, of course, magic. Pure, mystical magic." He brushed some ashes off of his gloves and into the small pile, then reaching his hand into the pile. "But, one of those cards are dear to me..." He pulled out a card from the pile, and he flicked the ashes off of it to reveal the Jack of Clubs. "Ah, there it is." He pocketed it.

Once his things were gathered, Conner walked out of the KM shelter, and stood waiting for his new and first owner. He dien't have oong to wait, for almost immediatly a carrige pulled up with a rather important looking man in it. "Get in." was all he said. Expecting to have to ride on the outside, Conner numbly gets in. "I am the man that runs what goes on in the Lords mansion. That is all you must know about me. Only two people tell you what to do before me, and that is the Lord and Lady themselves. Do not try to get ahead of yourself and make a fool out of me."

The point was right now. The random growl had given her away, but Bloodsong made an effort to pretend he'd not noticed her. Her steps were loud (to his trained ears) and that growl... he was still within Blood territory... was his stalker here to steal his prize? To pick a fight? He let his ears relax to let himself appear nonchalant. If they attacked, he would defend himself and his prize. Theft of another's kill was cowardly. The shift in wind seemed strange, out of place... but that might just be his overwariness in play.

Ina Tiran

Ina perked her ears up, standing completely still as the cards flew into the still air and disappeared in a poof of fire, leaving behind only ash against the grassy grounds. She followed each movement carefully, glued in to the show with utmost tenacity and wonder, how could anyone think that a show like this was at all fake? It was an impossible idea to think, at least in her dreamed eyes. A light shift of his hand as he reached into the grey pile, taking out a card that was thought to be burned along with the rest of the deck, the little bat on her shoulder seemed to be just as amazed. "H-How...How is this...Magic.......M-Magic is so wonderful..." Ina stuttered, reddening in overwhelming excitement at the presence of the magical rabbit, completely distracted from her original task. "Why...Is that one in particular, so special to you?" she asked quietly.

Mai Hinawo

The air was careful and still, far from the likes of the bustling government hangars she had worked in for the past few years. There were no barking commands or instructed work zones, no enclosed labs or required contamination tests. Though she was only here as part of her natural job, it felt much more free than anything she had had before.

Stifling wings caught her attention from above the outlying trees, the young scientist squealed excitedly as she grabbed her slick, black tranquilizer rifle- the tool of her prized mode of 'hunting'. The sound was much deeper than any normal bird or flying animal, indicating something much larger....With a quick movement her bright green eyes peered through the scope, landing 3 accurate hits on the flying shadow in the sky as the blast resonated across the forest.

Noras ears flicked, her grip changing on her sword. She narrowed her eyes, looking at him. As she adjusted her blade, the metal made a swift sound, the wind running over the blade easily. She crouched low to the ground, her eyes curiously looking up at him. She was no natural born hunter, and you could tell because she was wearing a jacket.

As Mark Flyis he sudently feels 3 Stings one on his left leg,one on his torso, and one on hos right shulder,a he would start too feel dizzy and tired as he would try too keep awake and continue Flying but as he cant hear well and sudently smash in too a tree and start too fall breaking branches and sudently stop as he hang there from a branch looking dead.

(Im sorry gota go seeya will be here tommorow)

The alien sound caused Bloodsong's ears to flatten against his skull and he spun around with a hissing growl, instantly leaping to stand over the corpse of the doe. His eyes were locked on his stalker, sharp teeth bared, hair bristling, tail whipping back and forth. It was another Clan, from what he could tell. This one seemed feline, she had a strange looking pelt, it looked misshapen as if she had some kind of birth defect. In her hands she held some kind of stick that reflected the sunlight that filtered down through the canopy of the forest. She'd notice he wore no clothes and his body was fur-covered, his entire body bristling as his eyes remained locked on her.

Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard flipped the card around, staring at the stone face of the Jack on the card. "Well, the Jack is below the Queen in most normal games. And the Queen is below the King. My current owner, Nicholas, is the King of my life, and he rules what I do. But he is a kind man. I listen to his wishes and carry them out. The Queen is his fiance, Clair, who has only been kind to me in the past. Her word is law to me as well. So, that leaves me as the Jack, someone who is below the King and Queen, but still is his own being. And the Clubs part of it is that I am a gambler, on and off the table. I gamble with life itself, testing it's lengths, and exploring it's variety. Combine everything, and I am the Jack of Clubs." He folded the card over itself, then crushed it in his hand, opening it back up for it to have disappeared. Then, he heard a loud boom, and his ears twitched. "Now that wasn't my magic. What happened?" He turned to where he assumed the sound had originated.

Nora growled back, not used to being threatened. She shifted the winds again, standing up and glaring at him. Her knees where still bend and her blade was pointed towards him. "Who are you and why where you close to my home." She asked sharply, her eyes cold and cynical. Her body was not fur covered like his, but instead smooth like a human's.

The bear's head turned the sound of gunshot, going back to that time. When his mother was murdered by researchers, it awakened something in him, a long forgotten survival instinct, he was raised by scientists but one thing always lingered at the back of his mind, "You have to stop them..." Though he knew he couldn't kill anyone, as the remaining member of the grizzlies he had to at least check, who was shooting and why were they shooting? He made his way to the location, too close for comfort, he wasn't surprised to see a researcher, but he wanted to know why she was here, watching silently from his place of concealment, behind the broad base of an oak tree. She smells familiar... His eyes narrowed.

She was pointing the stick at him and growling now, she made some kind of... noise with her mouth. He had no idea what that sound was or what it meant, it wasn't a growl, but the very sound sounded... angry. Was she calling for the rest of her pack? That had to be it. His snarling increased as he remained vigilant, his senses heightened to ensure he wasn't taken by surprise.

Nora sighed. "He doesn't understand English." She said, slapping her hand on her forehead. She sighed and crouched on the ground on the ground and snarled something at him, her blade glinting in the light. She narrowed her eyes and held out her hand, a ball of wind collecting in her palm as she aimed at him.

Love continued running and running. But her senses were faltering due to so many activities occurring all at once in the woods.

This must be a special day for the forest to be having so many KMs around and much interaction between them. I can hear two KMs confronting each other with menacing noises. One innocent KM with a KM that seems to be with humans. Oh! And a human in the forest? Seems to be hunting a KM.

Love growled at the thought of this. She paused in her tracks debating whether to help the fellow KM out or not. But then she scented a KM close to the hunted KM.

That KM shall be fine then.

Love hesitated though to head back to her hunt. But then a crow cried above her. Her slick tail fluffed up and she growled. She knew that her master was watching.

I must go on.

A tear escaped from her eye and she continued to run. The general area of the bear was closer to the waterfall in the middle of the forest. She had to accomplish this fight before midnight or else she could say goodbye to avenge her family.

"Finally, now I have time for myself." Reynardine said as he walked out of his shop and headed towards the woods. This day have been particularly busy and, as much as he loves helping others, he was glad that it was over. Now he was heading to the woods to check the snare he placed. He was hoping he caught something, and true enough, something was caught. It was a beautiful fox, late teens as suggested by its pelt. Its neck had been caught in the snare and it was now hanging a few feet in the air, dead as the ground Reynardine is stepping on. "I'm sorry for doing this, o innocent fox, but you see, your pelt is prized by the nobles." He said in a soothing and gently voice as he freed the body from the snare. It really had a beautiful belt, soft yet warm. This would make a great lining to a woman's coat, or maybe even as a scarf. He was heading home to skin the fox when he heard a loud boom. Without giving it a second thought, he dropped the fox and ran towards the noise. His kimono, which is usually the only clothing he can wear that will set his tails free, was billowing in the wind as he ran, fearful that someone got hurt.

So it was to be a fight. She was in his territory threatening him, and something was in her hand. From here it reminded him of spider's silk so he paid it no heed. Her shining stick was the curious thing, he'd never seen anything like it. The way she held it made it seem like she wanted to hit him with it, which meant he would have to keep away from it. He wouldn't move first, he'd wait for her, just in case this was a trick to let her pack steal his prize.

Nora growled again. "This is about to be a world of hurt for you doggie boy." She said, launching the ball of condensed at the ground, the sound defining to those who where not aware. She did not want to scare him to much as she was not really sure what he was saying, but she didn't want to take his doe. She just wanted to know why he was near his house.

Again she made those strange sounds with her mouth and then she threw the... whatever it was at the ground. The sound was loud and sudden and hurt his ears. What -was- that? What was she doing? He remained guarding his doe, confused and very much angry. His patience was running thin with this cat right now and it seemed at this point no-one else was around. Perhaps it was just her and it would fall on him to remove her from his territory.

Nora growled and hissed, her fangs baring. She stood up and folded her sword out in front of her defensively. She growled, standing with her fangs bared at him. She didn't like the way he was looking at her, but she did threaten him first. She sighed, standing up. She took her sword and sheathed it again, still glaring at him.

Ina Tiran

A king and queen...a kemonomimi with such loyalties is certainly one to be admired "Humans are wonderful...and always filled with kindness..." she smiled, she had never met of any hateful or hurtful humans...only tales from ferals. She began shifting her weight from one foot to the other, listening to his story. It was a relief to find another with a human master, a KM with such decency surely couldn't have been wild- wild KMs were only known to her as feral...and overall unpredictable, too dangerous to be safe...Always attacking without reason. They were quite intimidating to the house pet. "I-I'm sure your master wouldn't want...want you to get hurt..." Ina giggled quietly, never hearing of a rabbit being so risky and adventurous.

Ina cringed as the rattle of the blast rang through her ears, she held the little bat snuggle against her cheek with her tail curled between her legs. Her beautiful teal eyes stared at the birds, flying away from the blast as she shivered in a frightened manner"...a...gun?" she asked in question, the sound only scared her...the Kemonomimi was taught that guns are only made to protect people and their territory. Nothing more- this teaching has helped her to become one of the worst guard dogs imaginable.

Mai Hinawo
The scientist shook her head as the cascading sound echoed in her ears "Damn...I forgot to put on the silencer..." slung the strap of the black rifle over her shoulder with a victorious smile, passing cages as she scampered towards the sounds of crashing branches as her prey fell through the treeline in chemically induced slumber. Her feet padded against the ground quickly, before tripping over a root and slamming face first into a tree. A large red marking appeared on her forehead as she smiled and continued on- seeming quite use to the concept of tripping and falling. Mai saw the body crumpled on the forest floor, she leaned besides the sleeping fellow with a joyous laugh. "This is amazing!! It has wings!!" Mai exclaimed, fixing the round frame of her glasses as she pulled a phoenix feather from her hair, quickly writing down a note.

Barely and hour into my move, the area has been proven to be teeming with KMs just as commander has said. First caught- a large bat like creature.

The girl tucked the bright orange feather into one of her violet panda buns that sat on her head. With a large amount of effort she grabbed the man's arm and pulled it over her shoulder, stumbling as she began dragging the dead-weight individual through the grasses- oblivious to the many she had alerted in the area with the blast.
