"Staying." he said back, deciding to ignore the quick glance to Rosaline and back the man gave. Hopefully he didn't forget anything, or left it behind. But above all, he hoped Rosaline wouldn't put him through anything uncomfortable. A very thing to serve her, even though it was still only his first day on the job, as it were.

Rosaline pulled out her work laptop and turned it on to work on some more business material. But she grew bores of it and decided to observe Conner. He's cute with his fluffy ears and puffy tail. She gave a small smirk then noticed round ears on the employee. Oh another KM, and this one is a bear. Then Rosaline's eyes began to travel around the café. She spotted a rabbit KM. Mmmm who knew I was living in the same town with this many KMs. Her eyes drifted back to Conner who had the drinks and brownies in hand. "Conner!" she called out, "Hurry up! This woman needs her dosage of caffeine!" She didn't mind yelling and receiving the attention of the room, it what she loves to do.

"Yes ma'am, on my way ma'am, sorry ma'am." he said as he hurried over, placing the drink and brownies in fron of her before standing patiently to one side. He wouldn't have mind not eating anything. But his velly could smell as well as his nose and it let out a loud rumble. Not being able to do anything about it, he pretends like the noise necer happaned and that it certainly didn't come from him.

Mad Hatter's Rabbit, Bernard

Bernard's eyes turned up to the woman that had called out across the store to the other KM who was ordering something. His nose twitched, and his eyes went back to staring at the table, muttering under his breath. 'Hmmm...well, worst thing could be I get kicked out...' Bernard suddenly leapt up onto the table, shoving his hands into his coat pocket and wearing a sneer that radiated with repulsion. "Oye! Old hag! You shouldn't jus' up an' order someone like your slave, no matta' their species, half animal or whole human! Don't go around like..." He reached up and grabbed the tips of his ears, pulling them down to the side and pretending he was a girl, lifting his foot behind him and replacing the sneer with a flirtatious expression. "Oh, be a doll and buy me my coffee so I can be a total jerk to you and make you do all this stuff I don;t want to! Maybe you can have a pat on the head if you do a good job!" He let go of his long ears, them springing back up with comedic flare, and the sneer returned. "Dat's why us KM's are better than human's like you!" He stood there for a moment, then bowed, going back to standing straight with a calm smile on his mouth. "Sorry, ma'am. I am an actor, and was practicing for a show. I needed to test my ability of personality change and voice and accent alteration. May I please have your and your friend's feedback on it? It would help me improve for the future." He hopped off the table, brushing out his coat.

Rosaline's eyes averted to the rabbit KM that spontaneously jumped up onto the table. The mockery she received in front of all these people. The judgment he placed on her. And to all say it was an act.

You messed with the wrong woman rabbit.

She slammed her laptop shut and sauntered over to where Bernard stood ignoring Conner with her coffee. Rosaline placed her hands on her hips, "Acting you say? What a repugnant act! The idea that you can surreptitiously mock me. Not only did you satirize me but you generalized my attitude. Do not assume I am comparable to those haughty, condescending gentry women. An act more like a joke. You should perhaps learn to have more etiquette before you go criticizing people. I am not what I seem." With her rant over she walked off, fixing her hair along the way.

She turned back to Conner, "Excuse that tiny episode. I don't take shit just from anybody. Oh and I heard that grumble earlier. Grab two brownies. And it's not a suggestion, it's an order. I'm not in the mood at the moment." Rosaline sat back down and opened up her computer once more and typing angrily on the keyboard.

Bernard wore the same blank expression as the woman scolded him. He had been yelled at before worse than the woman had, but it still whipped his chest a little. He watched her walk back to her table and sighed. 'Very well done, Bernie. Fix it.' He walked over to the woman's table, but not close enough to be standing and looming over her. He bowed again, more submissively this time. He would do the same to Nicholas or Clair when he screwed something up, and even if it didn't make the situation better, it got most of his sincerity across. "Ma'am, I truly am sorry. My outburst was rude and cruel, and was very stereotypical. It should not have been done, even though it was a spur of the moment. Though, if you believe that is repugnant, then your view on the art of comedy and acting is very narrow. Not to be rude about that comment. As an actor, you learn from experience it's the stereotypes that make the foundation for a truly funny show. My position I have to practice is that of a young, rude, and overall biased teenage boy, who thinks only of himself and not of the feeling of others. Like a painting, you must look at acting from all perspectives; audience, actor, all the like. But, please, my deepest apologies for that show of shame. I don't take you as a woman like that, though your first impression was something I only looked at and took the chance to practice my art, as I'm sure you would do the same. It is not greed or pride, but more like joy in trade?" He leaned his head up a bit so his one eye was visible, the strings of his eyepatch pressing tight against the skin of his face. "I'm merely an ignorant bunny and child." His ear twitched, and he displayed complete innocence and shame for his actions.

Rosaline gave a sigh of resignation. "If only I ever had time for some comic relief. It is why I act this way. My life has one where there have been some harsh bumps, some that even shorten people's existence." Her eyes moved up to the rabbit KM. "Acting is one element that I place up everyday for everyone. But not one for show but one for my reassurance and affirmation. So my perspective of acting is one of a facade, I rarely see this genre of acting. I do applaud you on your impressions. But I do not agree with your mindset of stereotypes as foundation. You mustn't take upon appearance as their only shell that will only bring you regret. I have been in the footsteps of being stereotyped. Trust me you are not the first but not the last either. It pains us more to hear the words labeled on us. Surely there are other ways to find a structure to build upon. Perhaps it is just my soul that does not want to see that kind of comedy, if that what comedy is."

Rosaline took a sip from her coffee. "Joy in trade? Such oddity to those words. No. I would never pounce on the trade of offending one. My upbringings, not religious but experience upbringing has shown more of the cruel world to my eyes than most. But believe me or not you are free to what you want to do. I am impartial to your stance of what you are just do not judge upon me or really anyone else like that. But I know I can't stop you."

"None of what you said had heen called for. Maybe in a more unrefined crowd, people would have found it funny. But here, kind sir, is were more cultured folk eat." Conner said matter-of-factly, being a bit ruffled by the whole thing. He then remembered what Rosaline had ordered him to do, and stuffed a brownie into his mouth.

Bernard's eyes shifted over to the cat KM. "I assure you, sir, that I am cultured. Though I guess my first impression deemed otherwise, yes?" Bernard then turned back to the woman and bowed once more. "And to you, I do not judge anybody. Once again, my first impression makes it seem the opposite, but I judge no one for what they are until I know them better. I do hope that you can find my apology most sincere, and that maybe you can attend one of my troupe's street performances sometime. We will have one later tonight, if you would like to attend." He stood back up and began to walked back to his table, looking back over his shoulder slightly. "Have a magical day, you two."

Mai Hinawo, Ina Tiran

A violet haired girl came running into the cafe door as she dragged a poor dog KM behind her- Gripping her flopping ears rather tightly. "Hey Kumba lookie what I found!" Mai yelled triumphantly after following him to his work place. She seemed proud of her catch "P-Please that hurts miss..." Ina whined as the girl refused to let go, silver earrings jingling noisily as the two rustled about the store "I-I just wanted...I grab some herbs..." the silvery dog KM sniffled, quite distraught and confused about the situation. She had left the group for only a second- then out of nowhere this human tackled her and began ranting in incomprehensible words. The KM loved humans- but she was a little too scared to show it.

"Fff! Mai! What are you-!" The bear growled something under his breath, untying the awkward half apron he was forced to wear and sliding some things aside, "I have to go to work and you come to me torturing a poor domestic? Ugh, dammit, why are you so bad at listening?!" He threw the article of clothing aside before he pushed through the swinging door that lead behind the counter, muttering something as he made his way towards the girl near the door, the source of the ringing, and took a tight hold of her ears, "How do you like it? Not so fun when it's happening to you, is it?" Kumbara grumbled, tugging on Mai's ears, quite frustrated by her actions.

(So animoo.)

Mai Hinawo, Ina Tiran

The girl gave a slight chuckle as she saw the large KM in an apron, it was a new sight to say the least. She was enjoying herself greatly until he stormed up close and began yanking on her own ears "Ah Ah! Ow! Kumbara!" Mai wrinkled her nose "That's not fair at all! I wasn't torturing her...I was only looking at her earrings!" she objected, trying to pull his hands free from her ears. The white dog KM scurried off behind the counter of the coffee shop shivering in fear, one of her star earring being pulled off in the process of trying to escape. The scientist seemed lanky and small- but she sure had a vice-like grip. The violet haired girl flailed her arms around irritably, trying her best to reach up to grab Kumbara's hidden bear ears- but he seemed too tall to be within her reach.

Rosaline sighed and watched the rabbit KM walk away. She then turned where she sat and looked up at Conner. She saw him munching down on a brownie like she had told him to do. Rosaline smiled. "Thank you, for defending me," she whispered. She could tell that it also bothered him what actions the rabbit took, rather bashful ones. Rosaline picked up her coffee and took a sip, trying to relax. Her wanted moment of peace was interrupted from the screeching yells of an escastic purple haired gal. Rosaline sighed once more and observed the girl. She dragged in a dog KM to show to the bear KM. "Wow to think there could be more KMs," she mumbled.

Xena

Xena was busy trotting around in the forest, carrying her sword in the sheath on her back. She was antsy after hearing the gunshots deeper in the forest. Gunshots meant hunters, and that meant she was going to have to exterminate all of them.

She had had several run ins with hunters before, and they were no longer worried about. They were dead. Now she had to go deal with these hunters. "Fun...this should be wonderful...."

"It is one of my non-written or taught jobs. Simply makes sense to me." Connor said before stuffing the other brownie into his mouth. Those were actually pretty good, thank you Rosaline for ordering him to eat them. "KM's are everywhere. In the alleys, gutters, everywhere. They do not all have good homes, such as myself."

Kumbara smirked, "Ahahaha, I'm so glad I'm not a panda!" He chuckled, enjoying the authority he could have with his large size, he'd never met a soul who was taller than him, and he hoped to keep it that way, though the goat definitely had the power to knock him down. He was also thankful for that, and that goats were herbivores... And fairly peaceful other than those times of the year where they turned into berserkers, "Ugh..." He shuddered at the thought of being hit by a goat's horns and released Mai's ears, and walked over to see if the dog girl was alright, "You okay? Sorry about her, I'm planning on addressing that..." He glared at Mai with irritation clear in his eyes.

The scientist wrinkled her nose as she rubbed her sore ears. "Are all bears so aggressive?" Mai asked, feeling the stares of random coffee buyers focusing on the sleek black rifle resting on her back. Though it was made for no intention to kill- it certainly looked the part. She had never been in a city before, especially a shoppe, so public demeanor was definitely out of the question. Her worn bombat boots were covered in fresh forest mud, turning leaves, and loose petals of all kinds- trailing a messy pathway from the front door from her early trek. Ina looked up at Kumbara with shivering bright teal eyes. "Y-Yeah..." she stuttered in response, ears flat and weary. The white dog seemed confused and lost, quite unsure where she was dragged to. Mai put her hands on her hips, listening onto part of Kumbara's statement. "That's no fair- all kind with the dog and I get teeth and claws." she huffed, scanning her bright green eyes across the shop, lighting up when she noticed the other KM's in the room. With a swift leap her hands were scratching Conner's ears "Ah!! Look at this! It's cat!" she yelled in a distracted manner.

@Beowulf @The Doorman

Rosaline jumped from her seat from both surprise and annoyance. She admired the girl's attitude to approach anything, even if she did have some knowledge of danger.

"Uh-hum. I would like if you stopped man-handling my servant," Rosaline said. She crossed her arms and stood up straight eyeing the girl. Rosaline didn't like spontaneous people, ones to especially invade her private matters. And since Conner is under her service then he was categorized as under her private matters.

Connor at the same time liked the attention the strange girl was giving him, the scratching begind the ears, and felt extremely awkward, a strange girl was scratching his ears. "M-miss? Will you please stop that." he asked and gently tried to push her away. All the while he tried to bot be rude, the bain of his existence.

[hMai Hinawo[/h]

"A KM servant?" She exclaimed in utter excitement, grinning from ear to ear as she clung on tight to Conner's ears. She seemed determined to keep petting the velvety appendages despite his mistress and his own objections. "That sounds amazing! There would be so much I could do ..." Mai spaced out, imagining genetic decoding and DNA extraction along with various other experiments she could do with a legally bonded KM. "It's quite a surprise- so tame and polite. Completely opposite of Mr. Kuma!" she smiled wildly- seeming more distracted with the thought of a servant KM rather than the actual sentence Rosaline said.

"She's... A scienti-" She better not be... He slowly turned his head, eyebrow twitching in irritation as he took in the image of- "... Ehe... Heheheh... I'm going to kill you, Mai, I am going to kill you." By kill, he meant drag her out of the shop but his expression really made it look like he would, his pupils shrunken to their minimum, his ears twitching, "Have you no manners?!" He returned to standing at his full height, What is with this girl, why must she be so... Mai... He thought, taking one heavy step after the other at a steady pace towards the irritating human, and with his size, he was there in mere seconds, "Excuse me, ma'am," He said politely, "I apologize for the disturbance." And with that he took the girl into a sleeper hold and, though he knew how strong her grip was he was going to pull her off of the poor cat man, and he was determined, though he was sure others could help they didn't seem at all interested in being useful so he'd have to take care of it. AGAIN. Boy, this was getting old fast... Wait, he was never able tolerate it to begin with, oh well.

Rosaline just stood back and watched as the bear KM, or Kuma, grabbed hold of the insane girl. She gave a nod of content. Once the girl was disposed of Rosaline moved towards Conner. She grabbed his arm and mustered, "Sit." Rosaline sat back down tugging him down with her. "Perhaps if you were to sit, we won't have as much...disruptions," she worded. Rosaline felt a little anger towards the girl that she touched Conner. Is this jealousy? Ha no I'm just kidding myself. Why would I be jealous? He's my servant.

Tony was still following Mai silently, his head down and wings tucked tight to his body, his ears flattened as he followed the scientist that he'd agreed to go with. He watched her and those she was talking to warily, unsure if the others were friend or foe to Mai, and whether he'd have to help her get away from the others, of which made his wings flutter @Nekoni
