Hello everyone! I've got a few threads floating around and thought it might be a good idea to spend some time to collate them and have them in one thread. Just so it's easier for me to keep updated. I'll break the thread down into sections and use some tabs so it doesn't get cluttered!

DISCLAIMER: Needed to get this out of the way. When it comes to doubling, sometimes far simpler to do two separate RPs (unless it's fandom or easy to set at the same time/involves a group), so please be prepared for that possibility.

DISCLAIMER PART II: All my RPs naturally have a British setting. This can be negotiated obviously, but regardless of setting my characters are normally British anyway.

  • I'm from the UK, so my timezone is GMT.
  • I'm a 19 y/o History and Politics student, currently enjoying my summer holidays but I have many looming commitments coming up.
  • I've been roleplaying for upwards of six years or so, and I enjoy writing as a hobby in general.
  • As for my future, I'm hoping to go into teaching or something governmental.

  • At least a post a week when things get really busy. Right now I'm able to give partners more than that. Essentially, when my life is in a routine, you're more likely to have frequent post.
  • I roleplay over PM primarily, but willing to discuss others!
  • I will always give you two-three solid paragraphs, even if I have to squeeze it out. I much prefer to write more though! My spelling and grammar will be at a good standard too.
  • I'm at my happiest playing female, but I can have a good time playing male too. A lot of people are in search of male characters, and that's fine, but doubling is great too! I'm happy playing more than two characters as well.
  • Pairings are difficult for me as most of my experience is MxF. I have limited experience with FxF, and no experience with MxM. Though if we start speaking and either of the latter pairings seems to work, then I'd be happy to work on it.
  • Speaking of characters, mine are bound to come with a semi-detailed character sheet. I just can't help myself. I will normally try and give a partner a realistic face-claim too, but I don't always go out of my way.
  • I love to plot and work things out! If I really enjoy an RP, expect me to start becoming a little obsessive over it.
  • I don't have any triggers and I enjoy dark themes.
  • OOC chat is big with me, so I'll always try to be friendly.
  • If I go inactive on you, give me a nudge. I'll really try and be honest with you if it's not working out. If you don't hear from me over a considerable amount of time, assume I've lost interest.

  • For you to be at least 16 years old, I can make some exceptions to the rule but if we are roleplaying darker themes it feels a tad strange to do that with a 13 year old.
  • Post at least once a week to keep the muse following, more posts is definitely preferred but I understand what its like to be busy!
  • Please try to adhere to my standard of two solid paragraphs! I also expect accurate spelling and grammar to a reasonable standard.
  • Be reasonable when it comes to characters. If you want to just play female, I understand that - please consider doubling or expanding your skill set by playing male! If we do end up with me playing male, I expect a well-thought out female lead and for us both to take responsibility for background characters.
  • I'd like a character sheet from you too, happy to give you a template that I'll use for my characters!
  • I want someone who can plot with me and build a story, I want new ideas and twists to challenge the original plot!
  • Someone who enjoys more mature themes, I don't particularly want the sickly sweet romance.
  • Chat with me please I'm also on Discord so if you have one that's fab.
  • If you go inactive on me, then I'll assume you don't want to pursue the idea. Which is fine by the way. I really struggle with telling people I'm no longer interested, so if you're the same I get it.

  So basically, [X] is female and [Y] is male. I've set myself up to play the female in each of these plots, but I'm willing to play male if the right partner comes along (or if doubling is involved). I would like my partner to have decent knowledge of the era they're participating in!
  
• 
  [X] is a naive country girl who has come to the city of London to make a living, perhaps the only thing a young poor person could strive to do. [Y] is a thug with a ruthless attitude who works for a larger network of frauds, thieves and murderers who roam the city and do their dodgy dealings. [Y]'s name is known to many - he always gets what he wants. The same rule applies when he stumbles upon [X], who has managed to snag a job cleaning and serving in a rough backstreet pub. [Y] immediately lusts after [X], and manages to seduce her during their frequent meetings at the bar. [X] knows little of the danger that surrounds [Y] both externally and internally, and falls for his charm. The two share a night together and [Y] feels unusually attached to [X]. Will the two grow a romance between them? Will [X] get dragged into a life of crime? Will [Y] show his true colours and snap? Will she put up with [Y]?

  [X] is a young woman has just been employed as a housemaid in a grand house in the English countryside, the property of a family of aristocrats. She is part of an expansive set of staff. [Y] is the second son of the Lord of the house, often ignored by his parents who are devoted to their eldest son, he has become the rebel. [X] accidentally stumbles across him and the daughter of another family together in [Y]'s bed chamber after entering to clean, thinking she had left. [Y] asks [X] to keep the secret, and she does. It was then when [Y] really noticed [X], and when they crossed paths in the house, despite the awkwardness, they had the occasional conversation. [X] stupidly starts to fall for [Y], and unbeknown to her, he's starting to do the same. What happens when they begin a secret romance? Will [X]'s tough background be revealed? Will the guest who slept with [Y] come back to haunt him? What would happen if something happened to the oldest son, the heir - would [Y] be thrown into the spotlight, will [X] be revealed?

  [X] is a newly trained volunteer nurse from England who is heading to a front-line camp hospital near the coast in France. [Y] is a surgeon in this hospital from a deprived background, having fought his way to get to his position. He cares deeply for his work and is in a constant battle with the superiors about the best way to save lives. The pair meet when [X] arrives, and [Y] is immediately intrigued by how distant [X] is. She only speaks when she's spoken to, she a little cold towards everyone except one of the other volunteer nurses. She has a bad habit of letting the soldiers have a smoke with her too. Through shared experiences, [X] finds herself warming to [Y] and vice versa - but the past she's been running away from is going to catch up with her and [X] is going to find out no matter how hard she keeps her secret.

  London is being reduced to rubble part-by-part during the heights of the Blitz - but what happens to London's homeless? Specifically, to the children sleeping rough that were never evacuated? [X] is a young woman, a London girl through and through from a tough background, who has taken it upon herself to help these children. The plan she has derived is to scout out houses of wealthier individuals to sneak into while the air raids are happening, as the occupants will be in their shelters. She then gets the kids to spread the message, and they all arrive and steal some food and shelter themselves from the night - though taking a huge risk nevertheless. One night, something goes wrong during their usual procedure, and while the kids make it out and scatter from the house they are in, [X] gets caught by [Y]. [Y] is an older man (at least in his thirties), who used to teach in the local school. He managed to escape conscription due to a heart murmur, but is now living quite the solitary life. In a rage, he calls the police, keeping her captive. As they waited, [X] began to plead, telling him of her duty to these children and how she was only doing a wrong to make a right in the world. [Y] goes to answer the door to the police when they finally arrive, but turns them away. He asks [X] what he can do to help. What will the pair come up with? Will they face struggles? What happens as the war rages on and the threat from the skies worsens? Will they find romance amongst the hardship?
