A story layered in multiple worlds, myths, and cultures. An adventure intertwined with many heroes and villains from various backgrounds all linked to one mysteries god, The Kaian, who protects each reality as preordained by an ancient rule written in the very fabric of existence. Each world has a Kai, given the task of protecting that version of creation from an violent and all encompassing evil know as the obscurity. A corruptible force that, if not kept in check, will consume all life and propagate abhorrent destructive creatures. These creatures very nature is to consume all until nothing is left, in which they then move to corrupt another reality. Even the Kaian are not safe from its evil taint, and many existence end up ironically being destroyed by their own divine protector. Only a warrior society created from the broken remnants of an ancient order of heroes stands between the ever-emerging obscurity that plagues the denizens of the Kaian protectorate.
This defensive alliance was organized by the 12 Prime worlds in desperation against the most powerful, and most horribly corrupted Kaian to exist; Acreed. A Kaian who, after being seduced by the evil whispers of the obscurity, made it his life goal to destroy the Kaian protectorate and corrupt all known reaches of sentience to further his power.
After recruiting many Kaian and heroes from multiple realities the society were able to slay Acreed and his many depraved generals that were perverted by his will. This war, dubbed the Sunset Calamity, came at a great cost however, every Kai that wasn't corrupted was conscripted to fight in this war, none survived. The society succeeded in defeating the greatest evil ever created, but it also left them defenseless. The very battlefield they fought on became a epicenter of suffering, hate, and negative emotions. Acreed and his armies may have perished, but a new evil was born, and there was nothing to stop its bottomless hunger. With the death of all the Kaian, it left the society without leadership and any surviving heroes returned to their own realities to defend their homeworlds. With the dissolution of the order however, darkness had free reign and most life entered a 'dark period' where evil ran rampant.
The year is now 208 of the Ardian Calender, the Kaian time calender, of the second protectorate. Nearly 10,000 years after the events of the Sunset Calamity. A new society attempting to mirror the glorious order of the past has risen up to take the mantle and lead the heroes of current age against the Obscurity. Lead by the enigmatic and powerful Ardia, they battle with the corruption in a desperate struggle to stay afloat among hordes of demons and tainted heroes turned villains. However it seems the gods do not favor these new found pretender Kaian, even in these new times the Obscurity spreads ever closer to the prime realms. Attacks are increasing in magnitude, and heroes are disappearing from worlds entirely. In response, Ardia decided upon a drastic last stitch effort to save her people; reactivating the runestone gate that will begin the birth of new Kai, even if it ends up recreating a new Acreed. However a faction of heroes within the alliance openly regards this idea as foolhardy and dangerous, possibly sparking a civil war at the worst of times.

Well, if you're interested I'll be working on a lore and CS page, and trying to come up with rules as I go along. If you're confused by anything, which is very possible with the setting I created ahahha, don't be afraid to ask! Its been a LONG while since I've RP'd, let alone hosted my own RP so please excuse my sloppiness as I get back into the groove.
