Oh my goodness! This is absolutely stunning! How'd you do it if I might ask? Is there anywhere we can view your work since this is super cool.

Thank you. I don't really post my work anywhere at the moment, but I'll probably post more here. I used PhotoShop cs6 to make this on my mac. It's honestly one of the easier programs to use in my opinion. I had a photo of a guy in a plague mask so I used a color layer to change the color of the light and the direction it was coming from. That's why the light has a golden look to it. I also added an adjustment layer to the mask to make it red and the whole body darker in general. The feathers are actually one picture duplicated again and again and re sized and skewed. Again I added a color layer and lightened some of the edges with a gold hue. The sparks are just sparks I found on the internet that I re arranged and brightened. I changed the layer from normal to light to get rid of anything dark and just sprinkled the sparks around. I then duplicated the sparks layer turned down the opacity to make it look like a reflection in the goggles on the mask.

That's pretty interesting. It really looks fantastic! It's neat seeing the behind the scenes of these sorts of things. You learnt to do this stuff on your own or did you take a course? Sorry I'm asking so many questions, this is just a cool subject for me, please don't feel obliged to answer any you don't want to.

No its totally fine. I'm happy to share any information you want. I've been learning graphic design for 4 years and I'm still learning new things everyday. My dad has taught me pretty much everything I know. My dad use to make movie posters when we lived in L.A. He made the Lord of the Rings movie posters, Blade I, II and III and some other movies. There are some really good websites that have really well mad professional tutorials if you''re interested. One that I would recommend is Lynda.com.

That's really cool! Those are some pretty big movies too, so props to your dad. L.A. must've been nice to live in too! I'll definitely search up Lynda.com at some point since I'd also like to get into the whole photo-editing scene to touch up some of my work and open up some opportunities!

Thank you! I'm so glad you like them!

Just another piece I created for fun. I'm not a huge fan of the text placement because its a little unreadable but besides that I like this one.

I've been taking drawing lessons from my dad to try and get better at free hand. At this point I still need help from a visual aid, as I have troubles picturing images in my mind. I also am having trouble getting fingers to work properly but I'm getting there. Maybe once I get some free time I'll throw this up into Photoshop and make it look all nice and pretty but for now it remains but a simple notebook sketch. Feel free to criticize or give helpful feed back. And if you're in a bad mood go ahead and tell me how I'm shitty at everything I do and feel free to insult me on a personal level too. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore, I'm way to tired to be typing right now, and yet I continue. Oh well, I'll probably look back on this in like 7 hours and wonder why I subject myself to sleep deprivation...

Have a good day.
