Tom-Pen
Mysterious Writer
Preface: Just one, a single plot. I would offer more if I had any, but sadly I don't have any, save for this one. I should like to say, however, that because it is the only one, the only plot I mean, I have spent all my time and energy on it. It is the icing to my cake like repertoire. I ask that if you are interested in writing this with me, you only PM (Private Message) me if you are skilled in the art of writing in both style and grammar. This will require a writer with a unique style and voice, someone who can bring one to tears with their sad words, or leave a mark on one's soul with a truly fantastic character. This plot requires the aid of not just a writer, but a thinker, a doer, and more importantly than anything else, a dreamer.
So, without any further ado, no more gilding of the lily, I give to you my souls creation,
"Years Apart, But Together"
Introduction
The world today, as it is, everything the same and nothing different. A single day, just one, begins. The morning is light, but gray and gloomy. The sky is blanketed by what can only be described as a single, giant, cloud; Just one cloud. Rain seems imminent, but none has fallen yet, save for one drop, just one.
In the gloom of the day, standing some four stories tall, painted a dingy light brown, is the J. Miller High School. "J. Miller H.S. Built 1952" reads the small copper plaque above the entrance-way doors. Directly bellow the plaque, standing backpacked and unsure, is Christian E. Ray; the E. in his name stands for Everett. It is another first day of school, and it seems to as promising as the others. The truth of the matter is, however, that the other were not promising at all, and neither is this one. Perhaps the first first day was, but that one, for one reason or another turned out like all the first days that followed...
I could go on, but I that spot seems to be as good a place to end as any other. So, what am I looking for? I am looking for someone to write with, a girl, not just in character but in reality. A girl that can write with her own unique style, a good structural and grammatical sense, and in a way to fit the character and story.
The Specifics:
*Must be a girl, woman, or lady by birth. (Needs to be someone who understands the workings of a girls mind)
*Someone who has a passion for writing and the characters she creates.
*Someone with a unique style to her writing, a personal voice.
*Someone with good grammar and a habit of proof reading. (Before you post!)
*Someone who can dream.
What to put in your application PM:
Yes, that is right, you have to apply for this RP. There is only one spot, and I am hoping a good amount of people will want it, and I am only going to fill that one spot, with one person, just one. So here is the list of what to put in your message.
1. Your name, just your first name, but your real first name. (If your not okay with me knowing your real first name that's totally fine, you don't have to apply...)
2. A detailed (I mean very, very, extremely detailed) 2-3 paragraphs about your character. (You will be creating a senior girl who also goes to J. Miller High School. It is up to you what she will be like, if you want to be accepted I recommend trying to fit her character with the theme and tone of the introduction I gave.)
3. A large sample piece of writing, anywhere from 3-12 paragraphs. Just some kind of narrative that will let me see your writing style. Make it third person, and make it good. (Proof. Read. It!)
4. Lastly, give me 1-3 paragraphs explaining your ideas about the plot, suggestions about interactions between characters, ideas for a particular scene or situation, or general ideas about incorporating certain aspects into the RP.
I doubt many, if any of you, will read all this, but if you do thanks, and I hope it is you I get to write with.
So, without any further ado, no more gilding of the lily, I give to you my souls creation,
