When I tag someone in a post, it notifies them, right?


Also, what if I edit a post of mine and tag the person from there? Will it notify them? Or do they get notified only if it's a fresh post?

If the member you're tagging has their notifications set so they receive a notification, they they do, yes. 
 


About editing a post of yours and tagging them in the edited post, I do believe they also receive a notification then and when they click on the notification they'll be directed to the post that you edited instead of the most recent post. xD

What's the default setting? Is the default setting set in a way where they do get tagged or not?
