Just a simple question

Wasn't sure where to put this to ask (since shoutbox is gone...)

I was trying to figure out where this RP I wanted to make would go...

It's a D&D story (World's Largest Dungeon), but I'm hacking out the Dice dependency (we won't be using dice)

So would this kind of story go in Fandom or Fantasy?

Heya @Dethbycoffee! Yep, this is the right forum for questions. :) If you're using lore/creatures/setting directly from D&D, then yeah, I would call that fandom.

No problem! As a general rule of thumb, the different roleplay genres are based on the setting that you use for your roleplay. If it was based off of/inspired by D&D, then that could be fantasy, but when you use pre-established material from a book, game, TV series or otherwise, then that's fandom. Also if you were to have some fantasy elements but have the roleplay in a modern setting, that would go in realistic/modern more than likely, etc. etc.
