Just a question about the rules.

I respect the rules and agree that they are very good rules indeed, but I wonder... Why is is against the rules to make long signatures and put gifs into signatures? I must not see the reason behind it, but I would just like to know for informational purposes.

Because this is a writing site, GIF and long signatures are obnoxiously distracting when you are trying to read/reply to a roleplay. A lot of the stuff we do is centered around trying to make it as comfortable as possible to read for as long as you can.
