Fantasy Just a Group of "Bandits" (LORE, LOCATIONS, BESTIARY)

Danoram

probaly...
Settings and Lore details can be found here! You may also find the Bestiary, which includes the many monsters and beasts our characters have come across, or may come across. Locations and such are also found here, and much more. If you have anything you would like for me to add, just PM me or let me know in the OOC. I will fact check and proof read everything, then copy/paste it goes! Throughout the story, as you wish for certain things to appear, I will add them in here under the location of wherever our characters are when they appear. For example, if our characters are wandering around through the Danzing Forest, and you decide to have them come across a certain swamp, or maybe even a hidden cave or cabin, etc., then I will have you or myself go and find a suitable picture for it, and it will forever be able to be found here! The same thing goes for cities!

- Sunder -
The world of Sunder is completely massive. A place thrown into another galaxy after being swept along by the milky way and tossed through a black hole, it includes hundreds of different species and monsters of all kinds. While in our own day and age, we question the existence of Gods and Goddesses, Sunder is, without a doubt, under their reign. Magic and dark sorcery belong here, and your normal physics don't quite apply. Men and women who walk the streets may appear normal to the naked eye, but in their blood they carry great powers. Of course, not all of them do. Some are gifted, but some are cursed. It's how things work. Frozen ice-lands, blazing deserts, rocky mountains, and dangerous jungles are all bound to be come across as an adventurer in these lands. There is much to discover. Countries, cities, and towns, each of their own races and laws. You never know what might happen next...

- Moibanza -
Moibanza is the biggest and most populated country in all of the land. It is a great place to be born and raised, for the laws are fair and evenly justified. The only downside is that Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins are forbidden here, as well as a few others to be mentioned with time. The death penalty is rarely appointed unless you are of these three races, where you are to be killed on sight. This is only because of the Orcs' rabid and violent tendencies, the Trolls' affiliation with demons and dark sorcery, and the Goblins' thieving urges and deceitful personalities. The country's estimated population runs around 300.2 million, with Humans outnumbering the all of others. As far as weather and the economy goes, it is a clean and well-kept country, but doesn't go without its historical war-zones and dangerous, map-marked locations where any lone man will try to avoid. Being as big of a place as it is, bandits, pirates, monks, mages, witches and wizards, warriors and knights, and so many more classes roam the dirt roads and lurk though alleyways in the cities. Be prepared when wandering by yourself.

- Somerdanza -
This is the Capital of Moibanza. The High King and High Queen, along with their four sons, are located here. Their names are High Queen Maleera, High King Eustass, First Prince Judan, Second Prince Julial, Third Prince Jaden, and Prince Jillian. Royal Guards patrol the streets of Somerdanza through the day and night, assuring the people are kept at peace and safe. Any form of murder committed within the Capital City is strictly punishable by death, while occurrences outside of the city walls may only result in a life behind bars. It is located in the very center of the country, surrounded by a small ocean, which would take only a day to cross, but a week to travel around.

- Somerdanza Lower City -
The Lower City can be found across the ocean from the Capital City's docks. Remember how I said that it's about a day's travel across the ocean that surrounds Somerdanza? Well, usually, when you see someone leaving or arriving, they're going to, or coming from, Somerdanza Lower City. The Lower City is much smaller than the Capital, but is just as guarded, if not more. Typically, people who cannot afford life in the Capital, but still stand of fair gold and silver, live here. The Lower City is where your petty criminals are held. Those of deeper crimes are usually sent to the Capital, where they are bound for life, or sentenced to death.

- Somerdanza Lower City: The Somber Pub -
The Somber Pub has been around for quite a while now. The place is always so packed that you can hardly move your way through it to reach the bar. You can find all kinds of different beverages, such as ales, liquors, lagers, etc. Whatever you name, they've got. Water, too. The place is a good spot for listening in on city drama. You can find out a lot within just a few minutes. People from all over Moibanza can be seen here. Races of all kinds. They keep a large billboard up near the doors, which is where you can read all about the current events, find bounties, job listings, and more.

- The Danzing Forest -
To the East of Somerdanza Lower City is where one may come across the famous Danzing Forest. So, remember how I said that Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins were forbidden from entering the country of Moibanza? Well, this doesn't mean that they never do. Very frequently, Lower City guards go on hunts in order to clean this forest of the Goblins it hides. It gets its name from the strong winds it creates. With this wind, the massive trees will lean and tilt, creating a spooky noise that sounds almost like a woman's cry. The smallest tree within the forest stands to be 104 feet tall, while the others average around 150 to 160 feet.

- Sundance -
Sundance is a small town in which Ivan and Ivana were born and raised, until some things happened, anyway. It is located to the East of Somerdanza Lower City, somewhere on the way to The Danzing Forest. Where it was once full of life, bustling with a population of 300 people, it is no longer. Many of the buildings have started rotting, crops have died out, and clouds darken the area entirely. It is a quiet, lonely place. Occasionally, merchants and tourists will pass through, but they never stop unless approached first. Sundance is on the verge of becoming history. A new town is likely to be rebuilt once it disappears. No one knows why it went so down-hill, but it happened shortly after the events of Ivan and Ivana's past.

This is where you will find all of the soon-to-be-encountered, or already encountered animals, monsters, and races. If you have any that you would like to add, just let me know! I will proof read and fact check your information. You must provide everything in detail as you see below, such as how to kill them and certain natures they portray.

Humanoids

- Goblins -
Located: (Anywhere), Forests, Caves
Goblins are a naughty, detested species in every country of Sunder. They are known to repopulate faster than any other race of humanoid, giving birth to fifteen, sometimes twenty children at a time and being able to conceive a total of five times a week. Yes, that is a lot of babies. These things are small, nasty looking creatures. They can speak, but most of the time what they say is incoherent or makes no sense. Goblins are thieving, greedy bastards, especially for anything that shines or flickers - even a flame. While not so intelligent, they are easy to lose, as their cowardice is mighty. The reason for their being banished from Moibanza is because of their inability to learn right from wrong. They are simply evil and downright disgusting. They have no manners and only travel in packs.
(To Kill: By any means)

- Orcs -
Located: (Anywhere), Mountains, Dototar (Home Country)
Orcs are a monstrous species of warriors, typically standing at a height of 7 feet and weighing over 300 to 400 pounds. They are massive, made of muscle, and appear beastly with their thick jaws and sharp tusks. Sizes in these tusks vary between men and women, as well as their ages. Some are so large that they overlap the Orc's upper-lip, while others cannot be seen unless the mouth is open. Orcs are known for their inhuman strength and brutal, violent personalities. If one spots you in the open or feels you've gotten too close, prepare to face their rage. Most men cannot take on an Orc by themselves. One direct hit by one, and you'll find yourself broken from head to toe. They travel in packs, but it isn't rare to find one by itself. They also hold a strict diet based only on raw meats. As far as their language goes, no one has been able to translate.
(To Kill: By any means)

- Trolls -
Located: (Anywhere), Forests, Near Swamps, Dotahng'Shan (Home Country)
Trolls are a rather quiet and calm species. They try keeping to themselves for the most part, but are known to gamble with demons and tamper with dark sorcery. Their skin color varies between blues, greens, and the normal. People often mistake Trolls for Orcs, but this is normally if they've never actually seen an Orc. Trolls are much smaller than Orcs, but stand around the same height. They just pack less muscle. Their tusks run along six to twelve inches at the max, much longer than an Orcs', and their ears are very long also, coming to a point at the ends. If you ever decide to wrong a Troll without killing it, you are likely to become cursed for the rest of your life. They stick together as a tribe, painting themselves in bright colors and wearing little clothing. While some people argue that not all Trolls are bad, the polls stand higher on the side that they remain banned from the country. An ability of the Trolls lies in their tongue, allowing them to speak and understand any given language.

Beasts

- Wolves -
Located: (Anywhere), Fields, Forests
Wolves are very popular among hunters and Beast Masters. They are an easy kill when searching for food, and are relatively easy to track if you know what you're looking for. Most Beast Masters can be seen with a well-groomed wolf tamed by their side, for they are very smart and easy to teach. You wont often find one by itself, because they naturally travel in large packs of ten to twelve.
(To Kill: By any means)

- Alpha Wolves -
Located: (Anywhere), Fields, Forests
Alpha wolves are very vicious creatures. Unlike the average wolf, one cannot be tamed. They grow to the length of 15 feet from the tip of their tails to the tip of their nose, and reach a height of almost 10 feet from their foot to the hunch of their backs. One way to know when one is around is by the sound of their howl compared to other normal wolves. An alpha wolf, usually found alone and without a pack, has a scratchy ripple in its howl, almost like a phlegm. They are also much, much louder.
(To Kill: By any means)

- The Danzing Viper -
Located: (Moibanza) The Danzing Forest
The Danzing Viper is a monster located in the country of Moibanza, found only in the Danzing Forest. It is the only one of its kind. Any man who has entered this forest and hasn't come out probably met his maker with the help of either Goblins, this thing, or some other unknown species. A single guard who managed to escape the forest, losing only an arm, claimed that the viper had four arms at the front of its 30 foot-long, scaly body, appearing to be a snake. Bladed spikes run along its entire being, covering it and making it a weapon at all sides. May the Gods watch over whoever this thing decides to coil around. The most terrifying feature about the viper is not only its length, but its three heads, each mouth being equipped with twenty-four, 6 inch fangs. It is not venomous, however, stories tell otherwise.

Hybrids

- Owlbears -
Located: (Anywhere), Woodlands, Mountains
Owlbears are owl/bear hybrids, in case you didn't notice. While you would expect them to be fairly big, they are actually shoulder small. When I say this, I say it because a tamed Owlbear will ride its master's shoulder. They are easily tamed by earning their trust. Basically, all you have to do is feed them, and they'll choose to follow you anywhere, so long as you continue to feed them, though. Now, they do appear cute and all, but these little guys can be vicious. Their sharp claws are no joke. They cannot fly, but like a chicken they can jump and glide. Owlbears do not hoot or roar; they scream. They normally won't attack unless cornered or unless they are rabid, and eat raw or cooked meats, but will eat bugs, mice, and the likes. They favor cat meat. When it the mountains, you can find them hiding in small caves, which are usually self-made by placing rocks together. In the woods, they hide in the trees.
(To Kill: By any means)

- Griffin -
Located: (Anywhere), Skies, Mountains
Griffins are large beasts with the body, tail, and hind legs of a lion, while also having the wings, head, and talons of an eagle as its front legs. They are known to be very powerful creatures, majestic and loyal to their masters. In many countries, Griffins are used as flying mounts to get from city to city or even further. They are also a great means for sky-bound battles. Taming a wild Griffin is impossible, by the way. You can only raise them into submission, in which case you must steal the egg or eggs before they hatch, then raise it or them from birth. They lay around 1 to 4 with each batch every so many years. With a Griffin's loyal nature, they tend to mate for life, that being if their partner is killed, they will continue the rest of their lives never breeding again. On rare occasions, a male may mate with a female horse, laying birth to a Hippogriff.
(To Kill: By any means)

- Hippogriff -
Located: (Anywhere), Skies, Mountains, Grasslands
A Hippogriff is much like a Griffin in the sense that they both share the front half of an eagle. However, in their case, instead of having the back side of a lion, it is of a horse. They come from the rare occasion where a lonely male Griffin will mate with a female horse. Pretty wack, right? Anyway, wild Hippogriffs can be tamed, but it is rare to see it attempted without dying. Have you ever seen someone try to break a horse? That's kind of how this is done... it is just more dangerous. Where a Griffin is naturally hostile, a Hippogriff is rather calm when approached. They will let you stand beside them and pet them, probably eat worms or something from the palm of your hand... but the second you try to mount them, it's over. I recommend that if you want one for a pet, just go the egg-napping route and raise it from birth. A Hippogriff will lay only one egg in their lifetime, so it is rare to ever see one.
(To Kill: By any means)
Undead

- Vampires -
Located: (Anywhere), Graveyards, Cities
Vampires in the world of Sunder are much different from the ones we are used to. Vampires are nasty, bat-like creatures who came to be when a man wronged an old Troll, becoming cursed until death, where he rose from his grave six-months later as the wretched being you see here. They suck blood to feed, and can only populate by biting someone else, in which the person bitten will spend the rest of their days in suffering pain. They grow pale and sickly, losing color to their eyes. Their hair will fall out and they become stricken with an insatiable hunger, sometimes causing them to feed on the brethren around them. This would be considered cannibalism, my good sirs.
(To Kill: Cremation)
Mutants

- Ya-Te-Veo -
Located: (Anywhere), Gardens, Crop Fields
The Ya-Te-Veo are vicious, plant-like creatures who devour humans, large insects, and small mammals of wildlife. At times, the Ya-Te-Veo may not actually eat its prey, and will, instead, preserve it in thick, egg-like formations filled with a poisonous substance resembling tar. This tar is very sticky, and weighs enough to prevent animals such as rabbits, small dogs, and pigs from running away, but may only slow down the average human. While the substance is poisonous, and may eventually kill you, this is only if it is ingested. Prolonged time within the sacs, where oxygen is limited, results in the rebirth of the human prey into what people have begun calling "Garden Gnomes". They are harmless, and only eat crops. The Garden Gnomes look like leafy, green corpses, and wander aimlessly without purpose. Their lifespan ranges between two to three days before they fully decay, dropping, then disintegrate into the Earth. There are many depictions and descriptions of the Ya-Te-Veo, but all share similar features. All appearances of the mutants include root-like legs, wide mouths, and long, tendril-like appendages equipped with sharp thorns used to attack its prey. Many people believe that the Ya-Te-Veo are punishments from the Gods to those who do not properly care for their crops. You will, most often, find them burrowed in large pits in the more sizable gardens, where men and women are more likely to skip out on daily care-taking routines. If sensed nearby, the Ya-Te-Veo immediately seek out their prey, then sleep once filled for approximately three days; however, they are prone to waking.

Okay, here's the elf lore. You can either copy this into the main post and delete this or just leave it here.

Elves were quite exiled in Sunder. Their pointy ears, their stupidly long age and height and their silent demeanor. They were protected by law, like most other races, yet found it quite hard to live in public. Most elves lived in the wild, fending against goblins and orcs while hunting for food. It was almost as if they had faded away into hiding. A few elf littered the streets, just managing to get by. After a few years, a small kingdom was birthed in a forest west of Moibanza. This kingdom was neutral and forgiving of the humans and other races residing in Sunder. However, word got out. It caused riots in the streets of Moibanza, from fear of their lives. The law of elf protection was still active, so the people responded by taking down the kingdom themselves. And they succeeded. Most of the elves were killed, and those that survived went into hiding once more. Again, a few leaked into cities, fitting into society and adopting personas to hide themselves. Eventually, the half elf was also created from a mix of humans and elves. In general, elves are seen as degenerates, and only those understanding of them put up with them.

Siren lore:
Sirens are much like mermaids in many ways though mainly only in appearance. Sirens have the ability to walk on land as they choose whereas mermaids are strictly only able to live in water unless something happens to them magically and sirens need only to keep water in their system as they walk on land. Sirens also have a very strict religious belief system. They believe they were cursed by Hera and banished to the sea where they lived in embarrassment of their voices. In turn humans and other creatures alike hunted them down for the power their songs could bring them and were easy to capture and torture for their own sinful uses. So almost as siren rule they were never to mate with anything other than another siren and other were their enemies. Sirens live in small to large groups and tend to keep close to solitary islands. Sirens are also born naturally with water magic which was meant to help them in their times on land when coming across water could be more difficult. Sirens are also very hostile and aggressive and its not unheard of to find dead bodies around the islands washing up on shores across the land. They are also family oriented and when finding a mate they choose for life and like to have large families, losing a mate could cause a siren to live a life of solitude and depression until they finally whither away. Pods have one leader that helps keep the pod strong and alive as they can be targeted by larger species of underwater dwelling creatures. They also have their hunters which is generally every male in a pod where female elders care for the medicinal needs of a pod and the females are the caregivers of their children and teachers.
