Hello any thank you for taking potential interest in this group RP!

The idea goes as follows: What at first seems like an easy way for debtors to make their money back quickly, turns into a much more dangerous scenario than anyone could have anticipated.

A common theme with everyone is that, they are all in debt for one reason or another to the TeiTei company whether they know it or not (Generally to one of their many loan sharks or other wise.)

In order to pay back their debt they are given an offer to come on the ship pictured above and participate in some gambling, some events much harsher than others in functionality and game. The reason as to why they are being given this opportunity is not clear at first, but is to be revealed later down the line.

The catch: Since everyone is in a poor economic situation who is participating they are forced to borrow more money from the "company: in order to participate in the events at a ridiculous interest fee, generally from the same loan sharks who got them into the situation to begin with who are working with "company" preying on those at most risk in particular (Gambling addiction, in desperate need of money ect)) The risk here of course being that if one loses they are only in further debt, and potential danger. However winning would result in potentially completely paying off of one's debt and then some allowing for a new start, which many in these types of situations desperately desire. (There will be other situations that will not follow this exact formula, the first one though most likely y e s))

There will be luck involved in this RP as well as some differing mechanics depending on the particular event , to make things more interesting. People will be able to win their freedom prematurely In the RP potentially, and it will be unknown to many what happens if they are unsuccessful. In addition depending on the general consensus things may be even darker than they seem at first in terms of events which require some form of luck/and or willpower.

I will most likely be GMing, this RP idea was highly inspired by Kaiji.

If there is enough interest I will create a CS place, for now feel free to ask me any questions below or in pm if you have any interest.

Group size I'd like probably at least three-five people, with a post length minimum requirement of a paragraph ideally. (everyone will be entitled to more than one character if desired, I'll most likely be playing multiple like other characters in world ect and major characters who are important to the plotline))

I am also open to taking this to Discord if it is more desirable for everyone involved.

There will probably be some stat systems involved in terms of keeping track of money, and other things if necessary.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my search, and I sincerely hope that this project can come into fruition. (I am also open to people who want to Co-GM or who have ideas RP wise, as I am quite a fan of collaboration ^^))
