INSTRUCTIONS
NO.1 Post your applications in this thread. Feel free to use any character sheet format you'd like, so long as it includes the sections from the (very rough) template at the right here.
NO.2 If two users apply for the same role, the character that best fits the story will be selected.
NO.3 Realistic faceclaims OR detailed descriptions are both fine.
NO.4 Please ignore what would be 'realistic' for the setting in favour of making characters whose gender, sexual, ethnic, racial, and other identities are representative of the diverse and accepting world we want to live in.
NO.5 If you have a cool idea for a character who doesn't fit into the roles below, please make a suggestion and we can see how it might fit in.

THE NATURALIST -
The expert. Everyone will be looking to you for direction when the creatures of the past become the terrors of the present - but you're an expert in rocks and theories, not gnashing teeth and being chased at midnight through the thorny underbrush.
There's room for multiple in this role, if they diversify. Eg. paleobotanist, paleontologist, etc.
-
-
THE JOURNALIST -
You've made yourself a household name by exposing the scandals of the rich and famous (including some of the very people in this room!), so you're always suspicious of an invitation like this. But what self-respecting journalist can resist the story of the century? Or, well, it will be, if you can get out of here alive...
Alternative: Undercover Journalist, posing as a staff member.
-
-
THE ADVENTURER -
On every continent, in every last expanse of the wild, you've faced the elements and overcome the odds. No lion, bear, shark, or ape has been your match. But a dinosaur? You'll find out, whether you want to or not.
Alternative: The Fraud. The book about your exploits is a best-seller - and also a lie.
-
-
THE AGENT -
An enterprise as grand as this draws the eyes of nations - and perhaps their greedy hands, too. Whether you're here for your own reasons or the state's, your reason to leave will be the value you place on your own life.
-
-
THE RIVAL -
You were brought here to be gloated over by the millionaire industrialist with whom you've competed for your entire professional life, but as the island descends into chaos, you can't help being a little bit satisfied.
-
-
THE ARTIST -
A painter? A poet? A novelist? You have a duty, to your audience, to find meaning, narrative, imagery, in every aspect of the world. What meaning can you find in your imminent bloody demise?
-
-
THE STAR -
This park wasn't mere science or business; it was entertainment. Who better to give it that veneer than you?
