Realistic or Modern Jurassic Park 21 Years Later

Markari walked up to Ari. He pulled out his revolver and held it out to her. "Just in case." He said softly. This revolver would be more affective against a dinosaur then a knife, that much is certain.

 

[Sarah]

Cane nodded and saddled up with her gear and tucked the bone knife in her belt.. then rushed onto the plane and away from cell phones and car horns.. "good by urban jungle.. hello flush paradise.." she mumbled.. hell she doesn't even own a cellphone or a car.. completely forgetting about the jump..shed have to make to get there. yes she had to work with others and she wasn't quite skilled in working with others. but she was smart so she would learn. the squad leader. she thought to herself.. she talked to him... sort of.. he was being polite Cane.. she shook her thoughts then started to put her long dark brown hair into a loose braid..

Ari took the gun. "You know I'll just be sitting pretty waiting for all of you." She says with a grin. "But thanks you. Sincerely." She adds. She holsters the gun and then gets to her spot to pilot the plan. She puts on her headset, straps herself in, and gets the plane ready for take off. She would get this thing going as soon as everyone was in and ready.

Markari nodded at her. "Just in case." He said as she walked in. He walked to the back and grabbed a parachute. He sat in the very back, with the parachute on his lap.

Dalton was both Elated and Afraid. He clutched the parachute bag and his backpack. He grit his teeth and began humming the tune to a song. He lied himself back and prepared for the trip.

Once every one was on Alexander strapped on all his gear and sat down next to Markari, as he clutched the arm rest knowing there was a very good chance he wouldn't come out alive. "Everyone ready?" he calls out as he takes deep breaths

Markari gave him a thumbs up. "Ready captain." He said softly. Knowing this is gonna be the biggest mission of his military career. But he would be happy with getting out, alive.

 

[Sarah]

Cane took a deep breath and then let it out.. yes.. she thought as she nodded.. she was ready.. I pulled the bone knife from my belt and twisted it around between my index fingers.. She stared at it letting her memories of it take over her mind.. The dig in Cairo.. where she got lost in the desert.. wouldn't you believe she walked 250 miles to the nearest town.. with that knife secured to a long stick.. fighting off snakes and other animals.. that wasn't where she got it.. but she was proud of that memory.. Dr Grant had his claw.. the claw of a raptor.. it was more of a talisman like the knife is to her.. she wouldn't ever want to have to use it in battle..

Markari looked over at the new girl and saw the knife. He he,d his hand. "Is that a Spinosaur tooth?" He asked softly. One of the coolest things ever in his opinion.

 

[BlackSparrow]

"If everyone is ready, then prepare for take off." Ari says over the plane's speaker. She flipped a few switched, the plane humming to life. She felt a comfort, as she always did when she flew. Soon she was preparing to take off and just as quick they were in te air headed towards the island.

Cane looked at the man who was speaking to her.. ugh.. so shy... she thought as she nodded timidly.. then slowly passed the knife over.. it was nice that she was on a plane about to jump into a world where humans were no longer the dominant species.. but it was nicer that everyone on this plane would know what the hell she was talking about. if she talked at all that is..

 

[Robin man]

Markari looked over the knife. "A real Spinosaraus tooth. I'm guide impress." He held it out to her after they took off. "I assume you got in Africa?"

 

[Sarah]

Cane shook her head smiling very slightly.. yes the silt did put it in Africa.. but she couldn't find the words to say she's had it for most of her life.. "um.. my dad.." Cane said.. trying to say in as little words as possible that her dad had given it to her.. "archaeology.. kinda.. family... stuff. " meaning he's the reason behind her study of dinosaurs.. "Brazil.." She'd said saying where the tooth was from.. her father had found it and kept it.. then passed it on to her..

Markari tilted his head. "Do speak up dear woman. Is the mask intimidating you?" The majority of time, the mask does scare people. "And how did he get the tooth in Brazil? Spinosaurs lived in Africa."

 

[Sarah]

Cane shrugged.. "Im.. not a people.. person.." she said still nervous.. "talking... is hard.." she said.. her body trembled a bit with nervousness as she tightened her grip on the knifes handle.. "true.. my... dads like... Indiana Jones.. Hunter.. not digger.." Cane said.. "This is my hunt.." she'd finished clear as day.. she was here for a purpose.. and if she returned or not.. that didn't matter.. the fact that she was going was enough.. she was proud of being able to hunt for knowledge like her father..

Markari nodded slowly as he looked forward. "Just be ready to meet your maker." He said to everyone. Knowing the risk of this mission. The chances for failure, very high. Success, very low. But this their job, and their job only. And he was ready.

Alexander stood and made his way to the front of the plane sitting in the co pilot seat and looking over at ari "You gonna miss me?" he teased as he looked down at the sea below ready to soon get there and face what ever was coming. He looked back at ari with a soft smile awaiting her response

Ari didn't look over to him but she couldn't help smiling a little. "Of course." She teases back and then looks to him briefly, still smiling slightly before returning her gaze to the view out the front window. "You ready for this? Your drop off point isn't too far off." She adds. Checking a few of the planes instruments to make sure everything was still in order. So far this 'mission' was going off without a hitch.

 

[Sarah]

Cane strapped her parachute on her back.. not a hundred percent correctly.. but she hoped she wouldn't crash and die.. then she took a deep breath.. she was a scientist so she believed only her parents made her.. well her dad isn't doing so well and her mother died when she was four.. so.. well.. she didn't believe in heaven.. so all she could do was hope she wouldn't die yet..

He nodded as he sat up and looked at the back of the plane "Gear check drop points not to far out" he called as he leant back in his chair and looked over at her "If you even see something that looks like it may eat you you get on the walkie and call me ill come running" he said softly not wanting anyone else to hear.

Markari slowly stood up and adjusted her parachute. "First time sky diving?" He asked the scientist softly.

 

[Sarah]

Cane nodded sheepishly.. she jumped a bit then trembled under his touch.. she really wasn't a people person.. but for a man being polite he definitely had her attention.. "than-thank you.." shit there's the stutter.. she thought to herself as she looked up at him.. she was incredibly short clumsy and probably going to fall out of the plane instead of jump out.. so him fixing her parachute was very comforting.. still she's not used to people.. or being touched.. so that was why she'd jumped..

 

[Robin man]

Markari chuckled softly as he put his parachute on. "Remember. Pull the red, that's your primary. If that don't work, pull the blue cord, that's the back up." He explained showing her the cords.

Ari nodded in understanding and appreciation. She doubted she would do something like that, and she knew logically it was stupid. But it was the thought that counted and the comfort that came with it. "I will." She says in response looking to him briefly. "Thank you." She adds.

 

[Sarah]

Cane nodded again then looked at the cords.. red then blue red then blue.. red then blue.. she thought.. blue starts with b.. and so does back up.. ok she thought she was ready.. so she stood up tucking the knife back in her belt. she closed her eyes focussing herself for what she was about to do.. she then put on her helmet and her goggles ready to face the wind and any dinosaur below.. I waited for the squad leader to give us the green light.. waiting anxiously.. her trembling stopped and was replaced with almost creepy stillness as she readied herself to literally jump off a plane..
