Timeline

Year 2086	Humanity establishes first colony on Mars. The human race rejoices.
Year 2192	All the planets in the Sol system have been either Terraformed for colonies or can now carry bases under special circumstances (Mercury inhabitants must wear specialized suits. Pluto, Jupiter, and Neptune included in this.)
Year 2476	Humanity has begun branching out of its home solar system and begins inhabiting other systems.
Year 2810	The human race has left the milky way and started to search among the stars.
Year 2826	Humanity encounters it's first sentient alien life. Communication was eventually established between races and they declared themselves as a species called Kalors.
Year 3469	Several more races have been discovered throughout the galaxy and tensions between Kalor and humans have seemed to been escalating.
Year 3472	Tensions peak and the First Intergalactic War begins.
Year 3726	After 3 centuries of war, pulling multiple species into the war, The Kalor/Human treaty is declared and a tentative truce is ordered between the two races.
Year 3730	Kalor and Humans are still rebuilding and recovering from the effects of 300 year war.
Year 4106	There has been rumors among the stars that the coming of a Second Intergalactic War is near. No proof has been found but the all the species have felt the tensions rising between the races.

Summary

"It has been over 300 years since The Great Intergalactic War. The damage dealt both physically and mentally to all those involved has been repaired for the most part.The species of the universe have been living in peace and prosperity. It is like we have been living in an interstellar golden age. Trade, economy, culture, technology and understanding between the races has flourished and has brought life to the seemingly lifeless void that is space.


I wished that this time of peace would last until the ends of time but alas, there has been whispers in the void. Seeds of doubt and mistrust have been planted across the colonies. Some animosity remains even after all this time. Of that there is no doubt. A long, bloody war will always leave scars in the people it has hurt. But this is different. This feels as if someone was purposely trying to reignite the flames of hate. To spark animosity and anger between the species. As if to bring....a second Intergalactic War. I only pray that I am wrong about this." -Nerva Long.


The planet of Xursis has gone dark and has not responded to any messages from any faction. The neutrality of the planet has been respected for many years as a symbol of proof that all of the races can coexist in peace. But action must now be taken towards the planet. Recent attempts to make ground contact has been met with the planet's automated anti-material defenses. We are sending the universe's best agents to Xursis. They were hand picked by the members of The Void Council and are representing their races desire for peace. Tread carefully agents. Things may very well get dangerous down there.
