Jump to Top/Bottom of Page Button?

There used to be a couple arrows that appeared and hovered by the scroll bar when you started to scroll that would take you immediately to the top or the bottom of the page you were on. It was extremely handy for super long threads (especially when you were on mobile).


Any chance of getting that back?

that feature will probably be implemented again, but if you're on ios you can tap the 'time' area and it will bring you back to the top of the page. for chrome/other browsers i'm sure there are shortcuts you can use, just search it up

For most computers, it's command/ or control + "up arrow".  This will immediately bring to to the top of the page.  Use the down arrow to jump to the bottom.

I miss it too!  That and the floating menu bar are definitely on our list of things to add in when we can.

This doesn't work for me, but that might be because I have a small keyboard (not all combinations work right on it).  Page Up (and Page Down) seem to be faster than scrolling, but don't take me to the top (unless there's only a few posts).

There may be different controls for your system.  I would double check.  Most of them have something.

What works for me is just pressing 'Home' to go directly to the top of the page, and 'end' to go to the bottom. Not sure if this works for everyone, but it's.... A thing.

While we're still learning stuff then, I might also add that if you have NumLock on, you can press alt+3 (on the numpad) to make a little heart. ♥


And you can press ctrl+any number on your keyboard to select the different tabs you have in chrome.
