After Kenjaku’s absorption of Mahito in Shibuya, Suguru Geto’s soul seized control of his own body again. However, he still disappeared in order to create his world where all of humanity are Jujutsu sorcerers. After devouring Tengen, Geto traded his own life, all of his spirits, and all of Kenjaku’s acquired techniques to maximize the use if Tengen’s barrier and Mahito’s idle transfiguration. He did this in order to forcibly turn all of Humanity around the world into Jujutsu Sorcerers.
This began a global age of Jujutsu which was mostly exclusive to Japan and few other minor locations. The old society crumbled under a Jujutsu apocalypse. Even if there weren’t anymore naturally occurring cursed spirits their place was taken instead by terroristic sorcerers including those who intentionally turn themselves into curse spirits. Another unintended consequences was the half fulfillment of Kenjaku’s binding vows. The reincarnated sorcerers however did not incarnate into actual human bodies but as cursed spirits.
This in the beginning of the Global Era of Jujutsu and the First Arc of this roleplay, the Idle Transfiguration Apocalypse.
