Hello out there! You can call me Jo : ) I’m so excited to be creating this interest check! I’m fairly new to this site, but not to roleplaying. I’ve been roleplaying for almost ten years and I’ve been writing for even longer! I’m still learning about this site so forgive me for any errors : )
So a little bit about me:

I’m ghost friendly! I’m also pretty patient : ) I might check in after a bit but otherwise, do what you have to do! I definitely understand the need to step away. That being said, I will most likely communicate with you if I expect my post patterns to change! Also, feel free to chat with me- I’m a bit of a dummy and a goof but I like to think I’m pretty fun : )
Going off on that, while I'm on break right now and most likely have time for quicker replies and posts, I am a full time student and work part time, so when the semester starts up again, my post speed will most likely be slower. Please be patient with me- I'll let you know when you can expect something!
I love playing multiple characters and enjoy doubling. I really enjoy the amount of plots and drama and tropes we can bring in with multiple characters, especially when they have their own distinct personalities. However, if you only like to play one character, that’s totally fine! I will say I tend to prefer playing female characters though, especially if we’re doing one character x one character.
I also tend to gravitate towards MxF plots as those are the ones I’m most familiar with, though I’ll definitely do FxF from time to time!!
Also, since I’m new to the site, I don’t have any preferences for thread/PMs/etc. for roleplaying itself. Whichever is fine : ) I’m also new to the concept of bbc code as well so forgive me for any errors!
Also- these plots and pairings are not all I’m interested in! If you have ideas please send them my way, I’d love to hear them!

- while i don’t have any triggers, please refrain from trauma dumping in ooc chat! i want to be friends but trauma dumping makes me super uncomfy! there's a big difference between venting (perfectly okay!) and trauma dumping (not okay!) so just please be mindful!
- like i said im a big nerd and i like talking and chatting about our characters! this is definitely not required but pls!! let’s be nerdy
- quality over quantity! i’m not picky about length, and i’d rather have better writing even if it’s shorter
- have fun!! roleplaying is supposed to be fun- if you’re not having fun, let me know and we can figure something out!

now for the PLOTS
These are all very loose ideas! I’d love to hear your plot ideas or suggestions for these : ) all of these can work with doubling/multiple characters!
1. engaged with trouble
- Muse A is a princess in a kingdom torn apart by war. in a last ditch effort to create peace, the king promises her hand in marriage to Muse B, the ruler of the opposing kingdom. He possesses a dark magic that is the main weapon against the kingdom. Does Muse A choose to run, damning her kingdom? Or does she go through with it- discovering that maybe Muse B isn’t as bad as he seems?
- Muse A lives on an island full of supernatural creatures. It is a resource-filled place with many natural gifts like crystals, gold, and other plants and herbs that have magical properties and sell for a lot of money in the human world. Muse B is a pirate captain who has caught wind of this island and launches an attack in order to pillage and destroy it. Muse A and the rest of the island fight off Muse B and the rest of the pirate crew until Muse A and Muse B end up stuck in a cave together. They try and kill each other for a bit and then strike a deal- if they can get out of the cave, Muse A will give them some resources and Muse B will leave to never return. But does Muse B end up following through?
- Muse A is a vampire in a world where vampires rule the cities. They have recently taken a position of power and caught the attention of Muse B’s group of vampire slayers. An attempt by Muse B to kill Muse A goes awry and they both realize there is a mutual attraction. They continue meeting in secret until someone either finds out or either Muse A or Muse B betrays the other.
- Muse A and their friends decide to go into a haunted house one Halloween night. Little do they know on Halloween there is a door that becomes a portal to a magical world. Muse B is a friend of Muse A that watches them become entranced by the world and tries to find a way for them all to get out in the small time window that they have and tries to keep Muse A grounded. We can add characters here whether doubling or side characters for the other world!
so that’s basically it! remember that all of these plots can be workshopped and can all work with doubling! if you have any ideas, please share them! i look forward to hearing from you all < 3
