Welcome!
If you’re here, i’m guessing that means i’ve somehow intrigued you. So, don’t leave just yet!
After watching, The Gifted for the first time last night, I thought that this somewhat apocalyptic esque idea would be a great concept to world build on in a roleplay. This roleplay would incorporate a few original characters, whom have the mutant X gene. This develops in different ways, just as it did in the comics.
However, for those of you who are unacquainted with The Gifted, being a mutant has become very dangerous; with mutants getting imprisoned for minor things if it involves their powers, and charges even being invented to make an innocent person guilty.
Our characters worlds collide together on the other side of the border, in Mexico, where a leader has began to develop a safe base for all refugee mutants. Here, they must learn to cohabitate — with people they may not have otherwise gotten on all too well with — and begin to think of ways to liberate their kind before the US laws are implicated globally for their success at keeping peace.
Some boring things:
~ about me
- I am rather literate — and, if the subject interests me, I can write quite a LOT. Similarly, however, when there's stuff going on I will probably write shorter stuff to keep it moving, alongside a brief explanation.
- I’m a full time psychology, university student, and usually a part time worker. Right now, i’m in between jobs so I have more time (yay me!) and would love nothing more than to fill this with my love of writing.
- I’ve been writing on forums like this for 7 years, and my own personal stories since I developed the capability too. I can give a writing sample if required, but I will ask for the same.
- I'm very mature and love a good dark plot, it gets me hooked.
- I write both male and female roles, but prefer the female role. This means that, when asked to write as male, I would like to double.
- I mainly rp via thread, but can also use PMs and discord.
- I’m from England. It’s very likely that we’ll be from different time zones, but not as likely that this will be much of a problem. I love waking up to responses!
- I do love romance - though not as the entirety of the plot - give me angst, tragedy, dark themes and drama!
- I love having friendly OOC chat, and making friends with my writing partners!

~ About you.
~ About you.
- I prefer at least semi-literate roleplay - so, please do not give me one liners.
- Regular posting - I have some considerable time to write. This means I can post around once a day, or at least once a week (i’d appreciate the same from you).
- Grammar and spelling - we all make mistakes, but just give it the old proof read and whatnot before pressing that send button!

Louise Casanova Stark
Nickname:
Casanova • Lou • “Elsa”
Age:
19
Birthday:
23/09
Star sign:
Virgo-Libra Cusp
Personality:
As if torn by the stars, there are two very different sides to Lou. There's the bold and fearless face that she shows to the public. She had once been "Little Girl Lost", or so the press had named her, in the aftermath of the wreckage. Yet, she's determined to prove that now, she's "Little Girl Found". Louise comes across as very sure about her self. She has a very strong effeciency in maths, science and research. Yet, somehow, a jack of all trades, manages to excel in Literature, History and Languages to some extent. As if that wouldn't be enough reason to hate her, she's not humble about her accomplishments either. Almost like she has something to prove, Alcott will go out of her way to beat you in that chess competition, even if she's never played a game in her life, solely for the hold it will gain over you. She's public ally cocky, self confident, witty, sarcastic and fearless. A true cheerleader.
And yet, perhaps the Little Girl Lost was never found at all. Inside, she's not so sure. She competes solely to fill that weird sensation of emptiness inside of her chest, that piece missing in her heart: family. Having nowhere to call home has always made Lou feel unloveable and insecure. So, she's always felt the need to make herself as perfect as possible, even if perfect is truly fake. To confide her deepest feelings, she keeps a poetry diary, filled of her rawest feelings and worries. She thoroughly loves the escapism that comes with reading and writing, and you could indeed describe her as a dreamer.
All in all, it would be easy to brush Louisa Stark off with a shrug. She's just another one of them, better than one of them. She's asshole incarnate. Yet, deep down, there's a lot more lurking beneath that pearly white smile.
Powers:
- telekinesis
- frost / ice
- gymnast skills / relative jujitsu experience
Weakness:
- powers drain her (think eleven, stranger things).
- pride & stubborness: will never concede when she thinks she is right.
- passionate: will often act impulsively.
