  About Me
  
  Hey, hello, I go by Jewel. I'm 18+ and I'm from North America. My timezone is MST/MDT (UTC-6). I've been roleplaying on RPNation on and off for a couple of years now. I consider myself to be an advanced literate roleplayer. I prefer to write anywhere between 600-1200 words per post, though that is subject to change depending on the pace of the roleplay. I have never been nor will likely ever will be interested in any sort of fandom roleplay. Furthermore I am only interested in roleplaying on this site. Third person past tense.
  
  Because I am 18+ I prefer that my partners are as well. This is because I like writing roleplays which are subject to more sensitive or darker themes. I prefer to play male characters in m// pairings. Though if you see one of my plots and you'd like to do a m/f pairing (as the female character) shoot me message anyway and we can figure it out. That said, I am LGBTQ+ friendly, and I won't ever strong-arm you into playing a particular role.
  
  I am pretty busy with school so it is extremely unlikely that I will be able to respond every day. Please, please do not nag me for replies. Also, rest assured that I will not come after you if you decide to ghost-- seriously, no pressure there. OOC is nice but not a must.

  Please, above all else, be respectful. I would like it if you could respond once a week but I am extremely lenient on this since I know life can get busy. Likewise, I ask that you would be patient with me since I do have a job on top of being a full-time student. I am not interested in roleplaying over discord/email.

  Y/C stormed into the Darklands among a score of other courageous knights to defeat a terrible monster. Bearing banners and brightly decorated shields, the group crossed the border into those cursed lands and tracked the terror far into uncharted territory. But no sooner had they caught up to the monster did a thick fog roll in, so dense one could hardly see their hand before their face. Y/C was badly injured in the chaos, but managed to land the final blow on the beast... only to find that in the silent aftermath they were the only of the party standing. Knowing it was only a matter of time before other monsters came crawling to the scene of the gore, Y/C mounted their steed and began to search for signs of familiarity.
  They soon came across a castle. Knowing it to be the cursed estate of a deceased monarch, Y/C is hesitant to approach. But it's raining, and they are badly injured, and their horse is exhausted. They use the bramblethorns to scale the wall, entering the dark castle. It is there that they discover, much to their dismay, that the castle is very much inhibited... by M/C. A being as cursed and tormented as the land itself.

  There was no backup alive to call, nowhere to turn. The squad leader made the decision to surrender-- but it had only led to massacre. A bullet to the head for each of them. But when it came to Y/C's turn... the bullet never came. Instead, amidst their execution, the criminal gang flipped in on itself, and in the chaos Y/C was brought to safety. They never saw the face of their savior but the voice would stay with them.
  Several months later, an upstart gang is prowling the streets, ecoterrorists are rousing public interest, and there aren't enough good guys to get a handle on it. Their top priority is a new threat: The Butcher, an infamous local serial killer. Y/C is working late nights chasing leads but every dead end feels like a momentous setback. Until one evening...!
  They're working late, alone at the station office when they hear the door. They look up and see an unfamiliar person-- seemingly unknown to them. But it only takes a word, in a voice ingrained in their brain, to rouse them to their feet.
  M/C is in deep with the city's crime syndicate. They've fallen in with The Butcher but now they're willing to do anything to get away. Even if it means turning to the authorities, who may not be on their side.

  Meteors have utterly destroyed the face of the earth and due to toxins in the air, the planet's surface is totally uninhabitable. Most humans fled to the stars while others, refusing to leave the planet behind, fled to the depths of the ocean. Those who left the planet were prosperous in starting new colonies all throughout the galaxy, and those who stayed behind were cut off from the rest of the world, dwindling in numbers until believed to have died off.
  
  Hundreds of years later, Muse A, a space pirate/adventurer/soldier crash lands onto earth and their vessel sinks deep into the ocean.
  
  Muse B has been holding out at a research facility located at the bottom of the big blue for a really long time. They are successfully able to save Muse A, bringing them and their ship safely into an empty submarine bay. Muse A's ship is utterly unfixable, but luckily there is another ship available! But it's located in another, less accessible sector. Not only is it far, but the facility's AI has gone haywire. Rogue animatronics roam the facility, dangerous and unpredictable. Muse A and B must travel through several abandoned sectors in order to reach the location of the site's vessel if they ever want to escape, or else be condemned to a horrifying end at the bottom of the dark ocean.
