  This metropolis is considered a multicultural hub for towering corporations, corruption, organized crime and you can't forget gang violence. Not to mention where the cutting edge of the future of entertainment, technological advancements and debauchery all meet. Towers sprawled in neon lights dominate the skyline, blotting out the stars in the night sky while the audio of holographic billboards reach even the darkest crevices in the city. Loud are the noises of gunshots and bloody fights of gangwars, while the autocratic government and mega corporations wage a silent war for absolute control of every square inch of the city.
  
  Millions and Millions of people live here, but only so many can claim a stake in the city's heart. From the penthouses of corporate execs to the murky ghettos of the underground, force and wit is what rules this city. It's endless opportunity for those with the means to put their foot on their fellow human and a second term of torture for those being used as an ladder. A moral compass is a usual hinderance here.
  
  Are you one of the many who flock here to change their live for better or worse? Creating a story of your own to match the legends of the past? Are you ready to become a force of will!?

  A Student with a Dream.
  
  The quality of education facilities in this city fluctuate as much as the air quality. For children related to those with money or connections, there are a few private facilities where any source of harm from the city is neatly tucked away for their adult careers and they can frolic freely in the rare clean garden or learn advanced economics without their millionaire parents having to worry about a thing. Even anyone thinking of taking these kids for ransom are gonna have to deal with professionally trained private military.
  
  You don't have to worry about that. You're (probably) not important enough. For the kidnapping or the private military security detail.
  
  You go to one of the many government mandate public schools. Academy Six, a solid cube of steel and glass deep in the guts of the waterfront district. It's a month into your final year at Academy Six, things are not looking good. Whether you've been here your entire school run or only transferred in at the beginning of this year. You've got an accurate proximation of this place.
  
  It's a Shithole.
  
  The problems of this city have a pretty constant behaviour of affecting this school as well. From frequent vandalism to structure failure to the various schemes and crimes being pulled here all the way to most cyber textbooks being in a hard to read yellow font. It's hard to try in this 'education' facility. Most of the students eventually end up not attending, deciding instead to throw rocks at passing cars or to join a gang and race at dangerous speeds down a motorway. One could argue a better use of their time then this place. The percentage of students passing the national exam at the final year is in it's single digits. Your fate and the fate of all in this school seems to be getting inevitably swallowed into the abyss that is this City's desolation and ruthlessness. Another number amongst the millions of have-nots in this city.
  
  But you don't accept that.
  You're going to be somebody, something.
  This school and city won't be the end of you.
  
  You've been desperate enough to join a study group of the only people in this school who seem to have any desire to change their fate.
  
  You want to graduate. No, You will graduate.
  And like most goals in this forsaken city.

  Hi, Rithas here with the interest check for my new RP. A Cyberpunk Adventure mixed with a Highschool Graduation Year Slice of Life.
  
  Here your character will tackle the arduous task of becoming a 'functional' member of society and graduate with a degree for whatever their reasons may be. They have joined a club/study group for the purpose of getting an actual education. This task will be harder then it even appears, as they find themselves wading into the various unfamiliar worlds that exist in The City With No Name, they will have to deal with the various situations and forces that halt and disrupt their school life, all in the name of actually being able to attend their graduation at the end of the year.
  
  They must really want those hats.
  
  I hope you and your character can enjoy the various things this RP will pertain like Hijinks, shenanigans, deadly situations, decorating your computer background with Achievement graphics, maths homework, running from people with mantis swords, and group bonding!

  The City With No Name​

  The City had a name once. Numerous names in fact, I dare say that it will in all likelihood have a name in the near future. But at this moment? The City has NO name.
  
  This particular quirky fact can trace it's roots back to the 'Great Rewrite' event of the 2070's. Facing the challenge of turning around the desolate wasteland that the city was quickly becoming to the average citizen. Someone near the top of the government had a brilliant idea while at drinks with his corporate friends to sell the city's name. For five year slots, you could be the first thing that everyone sees and remembers of one of the most populated cities in the world. This idea was quickly put into action and the arguable benefits outweighed the various names the city has had. Public libraries at Amazon.com was pretty solid in 2084, and the parks built in Raukawa Corp in 2091 were gorgeous. They were next door to each other as well!
  
  Two years ago the corporation that had taken this half-decade slot suddenly collapsed in lawsuits and calls of national treason. This has cause a little turmoil in the legal proceedings of the City's name change. A lot of paperwork had to be looked over and a lot of expensive lawyers called in. But with two years left on the name claim, it seems the general consensus became to just kind of...leave the whole issue until the next term?
  This place has had many names, so no name as the name for this city with changing names is better then no name for a city that needs a name.

  C.I.C.I.​

  CICI, or Chip Interpersonal Conduction Interface if you want to hear the anacronym that doesn't really make that much sense is the Cyber implant that all humans have inserted into their brainstem in this City. Well, all humans who don't want to lose the sixth vital sense of the twenty-second century. It allows us to engage with facets of life in so many new ways. Not to mention sweet VR, woo!
  
  For you my friend, it's a cornerstone of your education. From homework to texting your friends in maths class it's fundamental to your life both in and out of school. You'll be getting a lot of use out of it so make sure to get familiar with it.
  
  Now if only everything wasn't in an unreadable yellow font.
  

  Cybernetic Enhancements​

  The twenty second century is the century of cybernetics. Legs that can make you jump two stories. Arms that can make you punch through steel. Eyes that can see in six different frequencies. Mantis Blades, cause they look cool. You're human flesh can be swapped out for any tool your credits can pay for.
  
  Fortunately or unfortunately, the government foresaw the problems that could arise from these developments pretty early on in the lifespan of cybernetics. There was harsh regulations enforced on what type of cybernetics were allowed and on whom. Weaponised Cybernetics were strictly forbidden to any normal citizen. So they're only really seen for soliders, well connected Corpo's or the odd Nutjob here and there.
  
  For regular cybernetics, there's an supposed ban on any enhancement under the age of twenty one baring an strict permit you can get for health reason. But this really has made regular enhancements take the place of tattoos in the early twenty first century. Some students have one or two, but most are hampered by the cost of getting something, the shadiness of those willing to do it on 'minors' and the reputation that comes with having them that young. Still, in Academy Six you see a student with a cybernetic eye or hand.
  
  

  Academy Six​

  One of the many public education facilities set up in the 'Great Rewrite' of the 2070's. With a sudden influx of public funding, the usually impotent local government went to tackle a problem that had been rising in the last decades. There was barely anywhere for people to send their kids to anymore. Private or corporation schools had pushed out other education functions by being able to fund themselves and grow with the backing of the powers.
  
  Simply put those less fortunate often had to just send their kids to work 'cause there was no other choice. The solution to this was to build public facilities for any citizen of the city to have their kids learn a good education. Of course, this project was overshot a little bit in terms of size and budget. Schools were built alright, a lot of them. All held thinly together in a infrastructure meant for half the amount they built. Over the decades, a lot of them have been shut down, destroyed, or taken over for some other nefarious purpose.
  
  These Academies have also partaken in selling the naming rights of the school, money had to be found somewhere. Though for this particular academy there seems to be a refusal to call it by it's sponsored name of- [ＲＥＤＡＣＴＥＤ]
  
  But for those that remain, they are a very recognisable black cube of steel and glass that signifies that in some way that your the type of person who can have their organs harvested and not too many people will complain.

  Acceptance Order:​

  Here is the steps to be accepted.
  
  1. Read the post to assure yourself of the mechanics and world of the rp.
  2. Fill out the CS provided, Post it in the Interest Check.
  3. Tag Rithas in the post if the Character sheet is completed, if Sheet is completed later then please Tag Rithas to alert them of said completion.
  4. Rithas Reads over your character sheet, if no edits are needed. Title and Discord link will be provided.
  5. Once CS/Lore thread is up, post said accepted sheet there.
  6. You have fulfilled the Acceptance Order and are now free to post in IC
  
  In terms of acceptance numbers. The first sign up period is allowed to go over the suggested Cast amount. This in due to the belief that like all RPs Mine will not be immune to the average amount of early drop outs, a natural part of a start of a RP. Adding a buffer with permitted sheets allows for not going under the wanted amount after the initial shaking off period.
  
  Now, if the amount of sheets manages to go even over the amount of buffer I think needed then I will begin to stall new signups or add them to a list of backups. We will see if we get to that point with actual sheets submitted.

  There's nothing more highschool students love more then showing off cool trinkets and backgrounds they have. The coolest people are obviously the ones with the most rare and custom C.I.C.I interface.
  
  How does one obtain things like this and become totally hip and epic?
  I've heard it's as simple as doing certain things. For some reason everything is tracked and you get awarded these backgrounds for doing stuff. Try and collect the most, that'll totally mean something in this RP

  Di(c)e of Fate:​

  Your characters actions and words this year will lead them to many types of problems. But finding the perfect decision for the situation can be hard when walking into an unknown and hostile world. Sometimes, it may be best for your character to try and enforce their will to change the pathway that fate was building. But these Acts of will can be an imperfect solution to a problem being faced, so there's always a little bit of luck involved.
  
  Acts of Will from player characters will involve a roll of the dice, with the straight success being on a 1. The range on the dice depends on two things.
  
  1. The category of action being taken: The three categories that an Act of Will can be are Physical for actions of strength speed or dexterity , Charm in actions dealing with persuading other people or an performance, Cyber in actions involving CICI or other technological devices. A character's speciality category will have increased odds of succeeding in said category.
  2. The size of challenge: From average to very hard, All Acts of Will could be difficult, but some attempts may be truly against the odds.
  
  Please Note that these rolls of fate are purely for occasions where a character wishes to play their cards to enact a change of pathways directly rather then through more complicated means. They are not for everyday actions.

  If you asked Rin to describe herself, she would say that she is a normal high school girl, who does normal high school girl things. Like going to school, and being a girl.
  Say one thing about Rin, say that she isn't one to describe in detail.
  
  She isn't wrong however, Rin can come off as cold and aloof at first, But she likes to talk about idol group breakups or the latest (affordable and totally normal) fashion trends more then most. She has common interests and wishes for things that anyone else her age wishes for.
  It's just that there's an air of high expectations that surrounds her. When it comes to school, the people she hangs out with or just life in general there's an part of Rin who hasn't accepted she can't always get what she wants. Her mystique exterior often cracks open at her frequent bemusement at events in life or the actions of others. A few who just wish to pass the days away in class or slight her often have the words 'stuck up bitch' to describe her.
  
  There's a sort of naivety in how she views the world, things that are common knowledge to the sort of people that go to this school seem to be missing from her repertoire. Here lies a girl who is somehow exactly aware of the consequences of her actions and yet ignorant to it all as well.
  
  Biography:
  Rin had loving parents, like everyone else. They took care of her, fulfilled all her wants, and she lived a fulfilling life. Her story is very normal and boring, So let's not talk about it, okay?
  
  Like many of the students in the Academy, Rin just sort of appeared one day and started attending. Unlike many of them, she actually kept attending past a month. Rin quickly became a leading figure in her year in part to her looks and personality but also her determination in creating the study group.
  
  If you think that Rin looks familiar then you are wrong. If you think she looks like a specific person that you swear you've seen somewhere before then you are even more wrong and should immediately stop thinking that silly train of thought and instead think about graduating or societal issues or noodles.
  
  Hobbies:
  
  • Noodles: Rin frequents the various culinary alleyway shops in the waterfront district. But there's nothing she loves more then a dish that contains noodles.
  • Fashion: Rin always seems to be coming in new clothes or styles that fit her aesthetic. She loves showing those who ask the various thrift shops she's managed to find in the city. Even then, it could be said she spends too much of her budget on style.
  • MMA: Many a nights Rin use to, er, sneak into the crowds for fights. Something about the dedication it takes and the spectacle amazes her. She's not very good at fighting herself, But she loves to watch it.

  • • Water: Yes, haha, she lives in the waterfront district and can't swim. Not that you can legally call the liquid that beats at the seawall water. Still, it stems from a rather traumatic attempt for her to learn to swim when she was a child.
    • Needles: This may come as a surprise given her numerous piercings. But whenever she goes in for one she has to be held down by her friends while it's being done. It's an whole...ordeal.

  • • Kinetic Glove: A metal sheeting connected to her right hand, allows for greater work with computers. It also has a small self-defence shock mode. But don't tell any faculty members that.
    • Saber Optics V4: Granting enhanced vision alongside informational reads on various things. It also allows for sclera, pupil and iris colour customization. Rin just goes for having pink iris' to match her hair. Those knowledgeable on Cybernetics would know that the Saber Optic V4 isn't out in the public market yet. But is supposed to be a big upgrade on the public market Saber V3.

Cybernetic Jaws are considered to be quite expensive and rarer then the average cybernetic, so keep that in mind.
