It's been a long time

Hey everyone. This is my first experience with role playing in over a decade (aside from the roles I've learned to play in the real world to get by). I've always tended to live within the realm of my imagination, I suppose. When I was a pre-teen, I wrote a ton of fiction, in forums like this or just for myself. It was an escape from a world I found hard to grasp. Even now, as what you might call a successful man, I find myself craving a place where the world is what you create, not what you're dealt by generations of dull-minded prats. I stumbled upon this place by accident. But I'm curious as to what it might hold in store for me. Anyway, I look forward to exploring this place in more detail.
