  hi, friends. my name is Lan, but feel free to call me cap, marv, dumbass, or whatever suits your fancy. it's been a hot minute since i wrote anything besides a term paper, and i want to rekindle my burning author's spirit. since there's no better way to do that than by writing with another person, i'm turning to you, the fine men and women of rpnation, and asking for your help getting back into the swing of things.

  setting- post-apocalypse, sengoku/warring states period, cross-country road trip
  *in the aftermath of the machine uprising, hordes of killer military robots scour the wastelands, seeking to destroy the last remnants of humanity and the robots who fought to protect them. muse A is one such protector robot, but the weight of their failure and the struggles of everyday life in this new world make it harder and harder for them to stay online. that all changes when they meet muse B, a young human who somehow escaped the initial slaughter, but whose chances of survival are also severely dwindling. if they want to last long enough to find out why the machines turned in the first place, they'll have to watch each other's backs.

  setting- small town slice-of-life, urban fantasy
  *in a generic fantasy land, muse A, the hero prophesied to save the world, met muse B, the evil warlord out to enslave the world, for a glorious final duel. though A triumphed over B and restored peace to the land, both were mortally wounded in the duel and died soon after... only to be reincarnated as ordinary people in our world, but with the memories of their old world still intact. years have passed, and both A and B have gotten used to their new lives and routines. but what happens when their paths cross once again and their old rivalry rekindles?

  *monster girls have started appearing in our world and using their abilities to help their new communities and pursue exciting new dreams and opportunities. muse A is one such monster girl; she dreams of becoming a famous musician, but with human/monster girl relations still in their infancy, she can't seem to find an audience. muse B is a struggling musician trying to find the inspiration that will put an end their string of recent failures. when A and B decide to team up, they'll have help each other navigate their new daily lives, overcome their musical troubles, and maybe, just maybe, finally start down the path to stardom.

  *rebel factions wage aerial warfare against the core systems' tyrannical government using fleets of sleek two-man fighters called "sparrows." muse A is a hotshot sparrow pilot fresh from graduation, who couldn't care less about the horrors of war. they are assigned to copilot with muse B, a fellow newcomer who's already traumatized by their brief experiences in real combat. A's quest for glory and B's quest to just go home cause the two to clash repeatedly, which causes a mission to go horribly awry at the most critical moment, leaving them stranded in the heart of enemy territory. if they want either of their goals to be met with success, they'll have to put their differences aside and find a way back to base.
