'It's Just a Game' is a spin off from .Hack// and 1/2 Prince.

Rhea very excitedly ran to her good friend's home. She had received a game from her father, three of them. Mostly because one for each of their family members.. her, her dad and mother. Her mother and dad didn't play such things, so he gave it to Rhea to take to one of her firends. Of course Rhea's only friend was Shania.. and one for her brother if he do choose to play as well. If not Rhea was sure she could find someone to give it too.

Rhea had her driver drop her off at Shania's house before trying to carry the three large boxes to the door. Of course the men usually with her wouldn't let her, so they carried it for her. It was a early sunday morning when she ran up to knock on the door.

Shania was cooking for her and her brother. The brunett girl had a rep for being a bit of a fighter but at home she was the homemaker doing all the cooking and cleaning since it was just her and her brother who held a job as a sales represenative and went to online classes. Shania heard Rhea and went to answer the door no doubt her brother was in his room and wouldn't hear the door anyway. "What do you have there?" Shania asked seeing the boxes and hellping Rhea by taking one of them.

 

[Ricia]

"Come look!" Rhea said almost walking in herself. "Thank you. You can pick me up around 6pm." Rhea told the gentlemen who had helped her.


"Yes Miss Rhea. Miss Shania." He said before leaving and closing the door behind him.


"My dad's company got a few free games. It is brand new and just came out!" Rhea told Shania, "Well.. actually it hits the shelves tomorrow. We just got a shipment of it."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Games?" Shania asked raising a brow and looking at Rhea "What kind," the ever technologically impaired girl asked. She set them down "Want lunch? I'm making blt's eggs and we're using biscuits as the bread."


"And the house smells so good, hello Rhea it's nice to see you," Kurama said coming out of his room.

 

[Ricia]

"Yes please!" Rhea said happily before getting down on the ground, smoothing out her pretty sundress. She pushed her glasses up before starting to try and open up the boxes. "Morning Kurama." Rhea said as she was pulling out large styrofoam cases. "They are like glasses..." Rhea said.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"What are?" Kurama asked he was dressed simply as normal in loose jeans and a tee shirt he and his sister both had a thing for being barefoot.


Shania left to get the biscutes out of the oven though she was listening "What kind of game... is glasses?"

 

[Ricia]

"It is a brand new MMORPG called bliss." Rhea told them, "MMORPG means Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. It is kind of like... a game where we fight monsters and stuff." Rhea said pulling out a pair of glasses. They was long and wrapped around the head. and there was a vizier the flipped up and down. "It makes you feel like you are really in the game."

"Oh, how interesting," Kurama said looking at them not really sure if she was trying to oversell the game.


"Fight mosters? from a pair of glasses?" Shania asked bringing in the food and plates.

 

[Ricia]

"Thank you." Rhea said taking the plate. She then handed Shania a pair,"You just put it on to start. You get to create your character. It will start out looking like you.. and you can change it as much to as little as you like..." Rhea blushed a bit, "I thought.. this would be a good activity to do together."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"The character will look like us?" Shania asked skeptic. She set hers to the side "We'll try them out after we eat," she said.


"Yes mom," Kurama said. Shanai shot a glare at him but he just laughed.

 

[Ricia]

Rhea laughed as well before digging in, though she pulled out the manual, "You can only have one account." Rhea said after swallowing the food. "They said everything feels super real."

"Even the pain?" Shania asked "surely fighting monsters you'll get a bite or hit,"


"Ah... I'm allergic to pain," Kaurama chuckled.

 

[Ricia]

"No.. but they say you feel a tingling when you get hit. Like.. vibration?" Rhea said softly. Before she looked at Kurama and laughed, "Me too." She told him. She use to be bullied.. till Shania one day came and just beat all her bullies. Shania is Rhea's hero in more ways then one.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"I'm not, you two are just soft and fluffy like stuffed toys," shania said takeing a bite.


Kurama laughed "Can I be a stuffed cat? I think the ears are cute,"

 

[Ricia]

"Yeah, they have beast like ones too!" Rhea finished her food before scooting the plate back and putting on her glasses, excited to try.

Shanai laughed "yes brother do be a cat, it fits you," shania put on hers to as her brother laughed finishing off his food before putting on the glasses.

 

[Ricia]

Rhea giggles a bit before starting to make her character. However she did get up and sat on Shania's couch so she was comfy. Rhea turned on hers as well and smiled before looking through the races. Some of the beast races were really cute... but she liked being a human. Quickly she picked the human, next it asked her what class she wanted to choose. "Oh wow... So many classes!" Rhea said rather excited.


Rhea also choose the Summoner, with the promise of picking an animal that she specialized in. She picked dragon. Last she had to name herself. "I don't know what to call myself... Oh I know!" She said happily before thinking up her name: LilDragonRe.


When the logged on the for the first time, LilDragonRe was surprised with how real everything felt. It was amazing in her opinion! "I can feel everything! Its like... its like, real!" She said running over to a building and touching the smooth rock. "And the whole town is so beautiful!" She had altered her appearance just a bit, she had longer hair, but she did have glasses. She had a starting staff.

Shanis tenced when the creation thing went its course she hesitanatly and nervously went to pick a beast race wold giving her char white wolf ears and a tail. Shania picked the warrior class specializing in swordsmanship as it is something she knows a bit of in her real life. She really didn't tweek her appearance more then the ears and tail she was happy with her looks. When Shania picked her name it was Blood Angel she appeared in game and looked around a bit nervouse but looking for Rhea.


Kurama was instantly facinated he spent time looking through till he found a cat like sShania the changes were minimal black cat ears and tail with longer nails he chose the cleric classs as he seemed to find its benifits fitting him and it would help since he knew his sister would be a tank. Kurama chose his name with a laugh Priest since he was a healer it fit right?

 

[Ricia]

LilDragonRe saw Shania and Kurama appear in down, though their screen names popped up over their heads as BloodAngel and Priest. She laughed a bit, "Your name are almost opposite of each other. You two are almost oppiest." LilDragonRe Said with a laugh. "But you both look cute.."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Priest really?" Blood angel asked crossed her arms and saw he armour "I look.... like I need to go shopping, this stuffs cheap cloth and imitation leather,"


Kurama looked at LilldragonRe. "You know your names cute."

 

[Ricia]

Lil'Re blushed, "You think so...?" She asked a bit shyly. She look around a bit to see someone waving at them. "Hey look!" She said pointing to a women in some fine clothing waving them down. She didn't move to go to them or anything, staying well planted where they were.

Angel looked up "I thought the game hasn't been released yet..." she said going to Lil;Re's side.


"Perhaps its an NPC, a computer controlled character, a guid maybe," Priest suggested.

 

[Ricia]

"Well.. the game hasn't been released to the public." Lil'Re said looking at the two. "It's been in a Beta and Alpha for a year... so there are several 100 of people already with characters and other such things. When it opens up to the public.. there will be a lot more people." She told them before walking over to the waving person.


The name over her head said 'Avia'.


"Hello players! Welcome to Bliss." She started. She sounded like a person, but she some how seemed not human. A bit generic, like reading from a script.


"Are you an NPC?" Lil'Re asked.


"Yes, I am one of many NPC here. I'm the player helper NPC." Avia said happily.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Angel walked behind Lil'Re and Priest beside her. "Ah how friendly," Priest said.


"Friendly indeed it creeps me out..." Angel said bluntly. "HAs nobody ever thought these programs could back stab you but me?"


"No Angel there are many paranoid people put there," Priest ruffled her hair making her ears go back.

 

[Ricia]

"Sorry, I don't understand your question." the NPC said with a smile at Angel and Priest.


Rhea giggled before listening to the NPC again.


"My name is Avia! If you have any questions or wish just to go through a tutorial, please just ask." Avia said.


Rhea nodded, "Can you walk us through the basic friends and party stuff?"


"Of course. To add friends, just look at a player and think their screen name. An option only you can see should show up. It should have a array of options to adding them as a friend, messaging them and sending them a party invite." The women said. "To bring up your own menu, just think or say out loud what you want. Such as Character Inventory... or Friends List." Avia said, "Other people will see you are using a menu, but not what you are doing in it."


"Oh wow..." Lil'Re said a bit in wounder.
