You've died and been Isekaied into another world. It seems perfect... but is it?

My original idea was essentially that the world seems determined to convince the people trapped there to stay. Not in the normal way of "This world is awesome because that's how Isekai work" but more in a "The world itself is potentially malevolent and wants you to stay and will try to do it subtly but if you push too hard it will actively attempt to prevent you from leaving."Ooh, potentially interested! What type of “something off” we thinking? Is it different for everyone?
If so, I’d like to explore having my character be seen by everyone in the world as a villain, when they are in fact a hero. It could give an interesting conflict, such as whether to continue on the heroic path or to live up to the world’s expectations and become a villain.
We could combine both.Hmm… sounds pretty interesting! I think I’ll still stick with the “world sees you as a villain but you try to be a hero” thing, but I’d love that conflict as well!
This actually sounds pretty awesome. Consider me interested! My original idea was essentially that the world seems determined to convince the people trapped there to stay. I don't have an exact reason why the world is like this but I'm working on it and this is a collaborative effort anyways.
I'm also planning on using this same concept for a personal story but that'll be completely different from this RP. So if you see a show on TV that uses a similar concept, that's me.

To clarify, my thought is that for some reason, the world has decided it's method of forcing your character to stay is to have the locals (and maybe trick some of the other characters) believe that your character is the bad guy and have a drive to capture them.We could combine both.
Oh, did I forget to mention that. It's sort of a quirky fantasy world. My main inspiration world-wise was a light novel (or rather, it's anime adaptation) called "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level" (damn that's a mouthful. Someone needs to hold an intervention for all the Light Novel writers who use long titles) but also I never actually finished it so who knows what sort of things'll happen (also gonna nix the vague rpg mechanics).Interesting little plot here, but I must ask one thing. what Kind of world is it? As in what kind of setting should we suspect? Ancient city states? Medieval kingdons? Etc.
'Splain.Seems interesting enough hmm what can we be when we get isakied?
Not necessarily.Do we has to be a human person
niceNot necessarily.
Heck if I know. I didn't even notice all of them until after posting this.where are all these isekai rps coming from
