Fantasy Is there light in darkness?

Rowens metallic claws gripped the thin edges of the gauze delicately as she tried to stray away from ripping or slicing through the fabric. As she attempted to bind her chest to hide what inhabited it and made her true gender known, the medical material tight around her and constricting her breathing to a safe extent. But despite this she continued, for though it did cause multiple bruises to form atop her skin she believed that the respect and pride she was given daily for her skill wasn't worth wasting if she were to ever reveal her true gender. Rowens bright white hair danced in front of her yellow hued eyes as she stared downwards to inspect her work once complete. The patched skinned girl gave herself a curt nod to show her approval for the task, noticing that her chest looked flat as intended.

"Perfect," she breathed out quietly as she retrieved her top from beside her and tugged it over top her newly bandaged skin and the bandanna she never released from around her neck. The edge of her mechanical hands cold against her flat stomach as they grazed the surface softly as she walked towards the exit of her personal home. The knives which were strapped to her waist made small clinging noises like those of a wind chime as she stepped forward and grabbed her navy blue coat and tugged it over to hide the large amount of mechanics which built up most of her body before opening the door and leaving. Today she was going to continue training and begin to pack up what she may need for her travels towards the Dark Ones current position.

Rowen had special plans for the man.

(Hope this was an okay beginning...)

nivek was in a hotel trying to find a place to rest his head for the night. he always moves from place to place never stayig in one spot to long. in his experience things always get worse the longer he stould still. he wasnt sure where to really go with his curent state in the world he just tries to survive now.

Nyx sheathed her two bloody daggers, resuming her walk towards the one target she though could restore her pride. She picked her cloak up off the ground and fastened it around her neck, pulling the hood up and around her face. Nyx started to walk away from the scene, a dead wolf lying on the ground. As she walked, the blood covering her hands dripped in a trail. She headed in the direction she believed a village should be, looking for some sort of clue that would lead her to the Dark One.

Akeiyū slowly snuck up on his target from the rooftops, ready to drop onto him as soon as no one was watching. This was the last person he needed to kill before he had enough cash to buy supplies for the trip towards wherever the Dark One resides. His revenge would soon be complete. His target had no idea that he was being followed and would soon have a broadsword stabbed straight through his head.

nivek pain the person giving his a room. he walked to the room wondering what awaits him. he looked around and to his relief no one followed him from what he could telll. he entered his room expecting no surprises. he set his bag with his Equipment on the floor.he walked over to the bed and laid down on it resting his eyes.

Rowen bit her lower lip thoughtfully as she exited her home and fell behind a ground of stray civilians who as well seemed to be heading to the bustling market. But unlike them she was heading towards the black market, the center was under the radar of those who considered themselves good although it held some of the best items for her coming task. The girl tugged her navy blue hood up and over her bright hair as she took a left down an empty alleyway between two towering buildings. Her aura and way of walking all like any mans who roamed the street after much practice since youth. Gradually Rowen began to whistle a small lullaby she somehow had within her memories as she strolled towards her destination.

Shade mentally grinned as he watched some humans scurry around the streets from his perch on the rooftops. "Which one shall be prey? Which one could cause the most resistance?" His quiet mutterings seemed loud in the chilled night and the shadow sighed. Then noticed a figure moving swiftly alongst a rooftop quite a distance away. "Hmm, what could it be doing, I wonder." Shade walked across the edge, forgetting the humans below to see just what the other on top of the rooftops was doing. A single phrase echoed in the bounty hunter's mind, one with a truth ringing inside. 'Curiosity killed the cat.' Shade directed his soft voice to the other figure on the roof, but the distance and wind covered most of his musings, "Well I'm already dead so I don't see why I have to worry."

Kardon continued walking through a forest with his undead followers. He eventually reached the edge of the forest and looked down onto a town. Watching as the living ran around he picked his targets and decided which ones would be best for his army. Kardon turned and instructed his followers on who they should kill and spare. "Anyone taller than you or that puts up a fight bring them back here for me." His undead followers ran into the town and began to kidnap civilians from the shadows. Kardon slowly entered the town and began to watch his followers.

Nyx arrived at the edge of a village. She quickly pulled her hands inside of her cloak and lowered her head. She walked briskly into the village, praying she wouldn't be noticed by many. 'I really need to clean myself up. I'm only drawing attention to myself by remaining covered in blood.' Nyx glanced around rapidly, knowing that her face was streaked with blood. She spotted a well and started to make her way to it.

Rowen was about to escape the darkness of the ally way, the constricting walls causing her to become claustrophobic. But before she could step another foot forward a scream tore through the air behind her and caused her to instantly respond. Metal fingers dancing over the handles of her knives as she gradually tip toed down the ally way once more in the direction she came from to be met with the sight of grotesque creatures moving at fast rates after civilians. She had always been complimented on her stealth, footsteps constantly silent and not attracting another's attention. And the 21 year old was grateful for that as she pressed her back against the brick wall behind her as she took in a silent gasp before sprinting down the ally way. She knew when to stay away, when to get away rather then stick around to save strangers. Rowen felt the guilt bite at her but didn't falter instead she kept running till she came to the black market near the forests edge.

"An attack has befallen the town, get your asses out of here before you are met with then same fate as many others!"

nivek was fully relaxed then when he least expected it. two men kicked down the door shouting bout a debt he really was to busy getting thrown around the room to listen. nivek jumped up and kicked one of the men out the doorway, as the 2nd one grabbed nivek and through him into the wall cracking it. nivek saw a chance to run. he got up and ran for it. the first guy got up and and then the two men chased nivek into the town.

Shade was about to get up close to the figure atop the roof, but screams had rung out. Turning to their sources, he allowed a smile on his dark face. Shade was very amused with the civilians antics when he noticed an undead army starting to take them away. The shadow moved onto the ground and approached one of the undead, waving a misted arm in a mock hello and just enjoying the chaos around him before Shade followed some of the undead as they walked in a line with a hostage to somewhere.

Kardon stood over the town waiting for his men to return. A few of the soldiers came back with prisoners. "I told you to grab the strong ones!" The prisoners were either children or the elderly. He grabbed one of the prisoners and they immediately turned pale and fell to the ground. "They are too weak for the process!" Kardon picked up the body and tossed it aside. "You are all completely worthless....what will the Dark one do if he were to see this?" He raised his hand and the soldiers executed the civilians. "Next time grab better subjects!"

Nyx had just started walking to the well when someone yelled out that the town was under attack. She pinpointed the origin of the voice, and saw someone with strange metal gloves. Further scrutiny of the person did not reveal if they were male and female, but her thoughts soon changed as the chaos started. The plaza was in a panic and she saw an opportunity and sprinted towards one of the stalls. She grabbed the first black cloak she saw and then she bolted out of sight. Her ears were clouded with the screams of people, and her only thought was hoping that they would quiet soon. She switched her cloaks and then shrugged to herself as she abandoned all hope for this town. She walked away from the wall she had been perched against, and headed in the opposite direction of the chaos.

nivek ran through the town then out of no where a creature with out discription grabbed a civilion right in front of me and held them up and just ripped them in half. the blood spilt on nivek as he stould there in shock. the two men ran up and started to beat up nivek then stopped when the creature beheaded them nivek looked up and tried to run but he only ran into another one which the creature elbowed nivek in the head rendering him out cold.

Kinalt watched as the chaos unfolded on the village below. Owing allegiance to neither side, he could tremendously assist either. Instead, he simply watched as the village erupted into a warzone, with civilians being dragged off and some being slaughtered. He watched as a figure commanded soldiers from the edge of a nearby forest overlooking the town. He thought he recognized his robes, similar to those of a court wizard. He reared his undead horse back, and charged down the hill at full speed, planning on running over anything or anyone that was unfortunate enough to be in his way.

Kardon ordered his soldiers to begin moving any valuables in the town and bury them. "The kings will be pleased if we continue with these victories!" He turns his attention to a figure on a horse. "Grab the fool on the animal and bring him to me!" Kardon points and a few of his soldiers begin to charge towards the horse rider. The soldiers try to grab him off the undead horse. "Once again you are all worthless!" He shouts and a few more begin to charge.

Blazing past the clumsy soldiers, Kinalt circled around , now facing the wizard. Studying the soldiers more carefully, he realized they were undead. He briefly thought back into he own past, when he had been consumed by the Void. Was he undead as well? Right now, it didn't matter to him. His eyes blazing red through his visor, he lowered his pike like a lance and began charging the wizard at full speed, intent on running him through.

Kardon watches the rider charge him before raising his hand into the air. As he raises his hand a few soldiers step in front of him. "Can we talk about this please like civilized undead? Or would you rather die a painful death on the ground while i tear your soul out of you?" He steps back and gets ready to flee from his attacker. ""I would rather not fight you! Last chance before i kill you!" His hands begin to glow and a circle forms at his feet.

Hearing the screaming Akeiyū turned around in suprise and saw a large mass of what looked like people, and because he turned around he almost lost his target. Faced with only two choices, kill the target and run or just run Akeiyū jumped straight down, stabbing his sword through the targets head and stealing his gold all in one swift, fluent motion. He then set off one of his many smoke bombs and ran the opposite direction of where he heard the first scream come from. Anyone that got in his way he swiftly cut down with his sword and kept moving. He would not get stuck behind a slow moving crowd at a time like this.

Seeing the wall of soldiers form in front of him, Kinalt slowed and circled the wizard. At this distance, he could definitely tell he was wearing the robes of a court wizard. He raised his pike, the small flag near the tip emblazoned with the emblem of an old king he served in his previous life. Slowing to a stop, he looks down expectantly st the wizard, his eyes no longer glowing as fiercely.
