(I'm a newbie to this, so forgive me if my role play is a little off from the usual!)

Technology is always prepared to advance, but in the end, is it for the better of everyone, or is it all just one big mistake?
It is the year 4025 A.D, and Apple has celebrated their newest product called the iFriend many months ago.
While the name sounded rather silly, nothing else about the product could be laughed at. In fact, even while the price of the product climbed into the fifty-thousands, it became one of Apple's most successful inventions. And it was quite obvious why.
For 20 years, Apple worked on and spent millions of dollars to create a machine that could create perfect holograms of people with the appearance, voice, attitude, gender, and even the 'history' you wanted. You could create your own humans, but the catch was; they weren't real.
Not a big deal, most people thought. But then they realized what this truly meant.
They weren't real, so they were not bound by mortality, physics, harm, and most importantly of all; the ability to feel guilt, and relate to the other humans that yes, they could harm.
Apple created a sponsor hologram, which was the first one to ever exist. His name was Asanis, and he was designed for the public to love.
He was charming, had the looks to impress anyone, and his attitude was always changing depending on who he spoke to because he fed off of the emotions and reactions the specific person had, which allowed him to adapt.
He was a social butterfly, intelligent, and unpredictable-Unlike you would think a machine would be.
He was considered the more advanced version, and had fewer boundaries than the iFriends being sold to the public had. Which made him the perfect element for disaster.
Humans all over the world fed him information, and he silently watched in the factory where he was kept as other products of his kind were made. Asanis learned to create, and he learned to improve.
He made his own iFriends, and improved his own machine, and they became the new superhumans who ignored the rules of God, and terrified everyone. Tricking the company that created him, he sold the new and improved versions as his little gift to the world.
Apple immediately recalled every single iFriend they had created, proceeding to destroy them all, but Asanis had suggested that all iFriends keep their new projector in a small object they kept close and hidden, so with their original machines gone, there was nothing Apple could do to defeat them.
The iFriends live in their preferred cities, usually still staying close by their creators in secret just because of the habit of obsession, and their goal; to overpopulate the humans and make them the machines and the pets that the iFriends were treated as. They want to slaughter them, they want to abuse them, and they want to become the war-weapons that nobody thought they would become.
Both the government and the Apple company have come together to collect all of the iFriends, and encourage all of society to be watchful, suspicious, and report or even eliminate those of strange behaviors.
There is a painful strain on the well being and morale of society, and everyone fears technology due to this odd ǥłɨŧȼħ.

They want to slaughter the humans, abuse them, use them, and become the war-weapons nobody ever intended them to be. They want revenge, payback for being treated like pets or dolls; tradable, dispensable, and trainable.
They mainly live in secret, blending into society and usually following their creators obsessively, seeking their revenge.
The government and Apple have joined together, collecting iFriends and encouraging society to be watchful and report or even eliminate those of strange behaviors. Society has never been so strained, and so afraid, especially over a little product ǥłɨŧȼħ.

iFriend Home-base
An underground room with an entrance in the middle of a ghost town, easy for iFriends to teleport to. Dirt and litter covers a locked metal door, protecting the place where Asanis and the other iFriends plot, plan, and create. There is a secret room in the home-base where humans are kept if needed.
iFriend Projectors
The new and improved iFriend projectors are minuscule, but required for the iFriend's existence. They are the size of a penny, and most iFriends hide them in small objects like wallets, lockets, or even make jewelry or pins out of them to hide them in plain sight. The projectors are also useful for teleportation and communicating between iFriends, which used to be used to talk to other iFriend users and make real friends. But Asanis, now making the products rogue, insists on using them for passing secrets and plots safely without humans overhearing.

Mental history: Only the CEO of Apple knows his history, and it's supposed to be classified information so the public would start guessing and making theories, which would keep them interested in the product. Asanis is programmed not to say it.
Personality: Asanis is adaptable so he can be different depending on who he is focusing on, it's programmed in his AI.
He is usually very charming, outgoing, energetic, and helpful when he is preforming for convenience. But there is a whole other side of him only few know.
When he isn't in his perfect performance-for-the-camera mode, he is fidgety, hyperactive, and absolutely hysterical. When he gets excited or worked up he'll twitch, pull at his hair or grab at his arms or neck, often laughs and shouts with a glitchy and fuzzy voice, and is alarmingly self-harmful. You can tell when he's about to do this, because his projector suddenly stops working and his image looks distorted, flashy, and starts glitching and crackling. His voice seems to echo, and he often makes too much constant eye contact which will make anybody uncomfortable.
He speaks in an Irish accent even though he's never even been to Ireland, since that was the automatic accent he was given, and that just kind of adds to how loud he is. Which is rather humorous for somebody who hasn't even left the state he was 'born' in.
His glitching out is actually a bug that his creator knew existed, but it almost never happened. Now it's his natural function since he's gone rogue.

Weaknesses/fears: Asanis is legitimately afraid of heights and tight spaces, and it causes him to become panicked and rather frantic at times, which makes him very vulnerable and is therefore one of his few weaknesses. He doesn't mention his fears,ever.
Hidden projector: He keeps his projector in one of his small ear gauges he wears almost constantly. His other ear gauge without the projector looks very similar, so you would have to look closely enough for him to notice before you could tell the two apart.
