Other Is being on RpN bad while at work?

I wonder if it's really bad of me to be on RpN at work. Since I have access to a computer and it's relatively slow throughout the day, why not? I already finished my tasks, and I'm still here to help customers when they need me.

For some reason, I still feel guilty.

What would be better is if RpN was my job. *Wink wink*

nah its fine. its what i do all the time. except im at school. if im already finished with all my assignments then whats the point of just sitting there? I can have a rpn tab open and get some replies done. if the teacher hands me a new assignment i can always just close out of rpn for a while and get it done.

i see no harm in doing the same thing at work. just as long as your actually working.

It's probably the most sensible site I visit during my breaks, or while waiting for something. I'm assuming it's a thing everyone does, yeah.

Friend of mine once got fired over using the Internet though... because she was blogging and forgot to close page and log out. And was complaining about her manager. Who was next to use the computer.
So uh. Just don't do that.

Don't get me wrong, I work a rough 40 hours a week! 3 of the days I work are in a novelty kitchen store, but it's attached to a small-business grocery store which is actually owned by the same person. So, since the registers are directly to my right side, I feel guilty standing here on the computer while grocery clerks are tied up in a rush.

This is a little complicated because I work in that section as a grocery clerk 2 days out of the week, so I feel some sort of obligation there. Our handbook does say we can use the computer for personal reasons though, as long as we aren't blocking it from other employees. No one else has access to this one, so yeah.

I'm just a little uncomfortable knowing that my coworkers can get a glimpse of the websites I'm on. They probably hate my guts because I'm lucky to work in this department, which has a lot of down time.

I read light novels from the computer for most of the time at work, honestly if you can get away with it while properly doing your job then all is okay.

It's practically a necessity for me, since I'm in a different time zone than most fellow players. The alternatives would be staying until four in the morning to reply or missing 10-20 posts before I'm able to post myself.
