Name: Konstantine Pyotr Kontratenko
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Konstantine stands at about five feet ten, weighing in around one hundred sixty pounds. His lineage is Russian with Italian influence from his mother, so he bears very russian features with olive skin, dark eyes and dark, shoulder length hair. Some notable features include heavy scarring down his left side caused by a fire inside of his uncle's Knight when he was just a boy.

Back-story: Koni, or Pyotr comes from a strong line of successful Knight pilots on both sides of his family. On his mother's side he is a third generation pilot, and on his father's, a fifth generation pilot with his great-great-grandfather being one of the very first pilots for Russia.
Growing up he dealt with Knights more than most, having learned at a very young age, almost groomed to become a pilot by his family. By no means was he a prodigy or great pilot, in fact being qualified as average for a combat pilot in most simulations, and below in some. His claim to fame, however, stands as a marksman both inside and out of a Knight with a very specific knack with artillery and the math involved. At ten he had gotten a taste of a real Knight, one built almost from the ground up by his uncle. It had been a very long process building it and many of the parts were from an assortment of different models. His uncle, attempting to teach the boy with a real Knight, and placed Konstantine at the controls. Not even ten minutes into training a short caused a panel to catch fire within the cockpit, and his seat with it leaving the left side of hid torso badly burnt.
Personality: Konstantine is very devoted, practically to a fault, to everything he does. Outside of work, school, training, etcetera Konstantine is a very laid back individual, prefering to go with the flow rather than stress. He often allows his training and gut to guide him, preferring a generalised plan than a play by play in depth script. Beyond that, he is much more intelligent than he lets on, speaking very plainly and unremarkably, even when speaking any of the six languages he learned growing up, able to mimic accents well. More a social chameleon than anything else, he gets along easily with most people.
Motive for joining the academy: Konstantine has always been interested in Knights from an early age, and with his family history, grooming, and constant exposure, it was inevitable that he become a pilot, but with the passing of his father before the completion of his exams, he became even more determined to become a pilot to honour him.

Dagaron holds a light skin tone, stands at six foot one, and weights just under one hundred twenty-five pounds. He is tall and lanky with angular features and black hair buzzed on the sides but kept somewhat lengthy on the top.

Dagaron and his twin sister grew up on a farm. They worked alongside Knights with freelance pilots who were strictly utility pilots, such as farming or heavy lifting. Neither kid had actually dealt with a Knight directly, but the orphaned pair had inherited their mother's Knight from birth. Not only were neither of them capable of piloting it, but the machine had fallen into disrepair, having been damaged well before they were born.
Dagaron is a hot headed individual who must often be cooled off my his sister's much more logic driven reasoning. He tends to be pationate and emotional, but also compationate, empathetic, and sympathetic. He thinks more with his heart than his brain, and it tends to get him into trouble.
Dagaron is driven by the urge to take his mother's place in the Knight they inherited.

Edenaya has porcelain skin, long jet black hair, and frosty blue eyes. She has angular features amd is exactly the same height as her bother, weighting in at one hundred fourty pounds.

Edenaya tends to be apathetic, cold, logical, and too blunt for her own good. She like structure and scripts, believing organisation is the key to anything. She tends to be well spoken and careful, diplomatic and the leashe for her brother.
Edenaya is driven by her brother's dreams, her goal to help him meet his.

Appearance: A Notoriously small young man Antonio stands only 5ft 3in and weighs only around 104lbs. He has dark black hair and light brown eyes.

Back-story: Coming from a long line of Fishermen in the far coasts of Valkyria No one would've pegged Arturo for a Knight pilot . He only recently seemed to express interest in it. Yet as with all of his "interests" he dived whole heartedly into it. Unlike most other "interests" of his he seems to have a large amount of dedication and drive to get himself into the controls of a knight. His family and friends tried to discourage his decision thinking it another passing fad of his. But he never stopped He meticulously studies the knights in an effort to understand them inside and out. Then eventually made it to the academy, unfortunately he has a very chaotic sleep schedule making him known for falling asleep in class.

Personality: Usually Arturo expresses apathy towards nearly everything. His interests seem to change on a whim, He cares for only three things consistently, his alone time, collecting Old comics, & being a knight pilot. He will not accept failure going so far as to spend all night practicing things he has trouble with in order to master them. The few friends he has can find it a bit hard to spend time with him unless it involves Knights or Comics.

Motive for joining the academy: To Get behind the Controls of a Knight, and prove to his family and home town that he is serious about something.​

Back-story:

Born from a relatively well off family, Odá spent much of his life at home, a military family such as his own didn't feel the need for an official education, instead opting to 'homeschool' the boy, though the majority of this was merely strenous physical activity, drills and reading up on combat and military history. Like many others, the boy quickly gained an interest in the Knights, a vast jump in technology built upon an alien, off-world material commonly called Divinity. By the time Odá turned 16, he'd spent a massive amount of his time researching Knights and studying of his own accord. Though his wishes to merely study Knight's and combat did not mean he wished to participate, they interested him, but they didn't entice him into whishing for combat. It would soon come time for consription, two years of mandatory military service. It was not something he wished for. But there was an alternative, IUKA, an international academy dedicated primarily to the study and usage of Knights.​

Personality:

Odá has spent very little time outside of the company of his family and their friends, with little to no personal life of his own, he's easily seen as unsociable and socially awkward, which he is. A life in relative solitude from people his own age has made him offputting, strange and completely inept. The boy has very little in the ways of most emotions such as shame or guilt, as he has never had reason to feel such things, though he can certainly tell what is seen as 'right' from what is seen as 'wrong', admittedly with some difficulties. If Odá could boast any redeeming features, it would be his steadfast determination and studious attitude, coupled with the vast database of knowledge he's absorbed over his life.​

Motive for joining the academy:

Avoiding mandatory military service for Shinigami Terra, as well as learning and experiencing everything he can about Knights himself.​

Backstory:
Winston is a member of a grand lineage of soldiers, meaning that the prospect of a career in the military would have been seen a mile away. His father, mother, older brothers, grandparents and distant anscestors have each committed service to their respective armed forces; Winston had no problem in maintaining the family tradition. Personally, it was something to be excited about. And it would be something Winston would commit himself to, spending a majority of his young years studying technical inner workings of a Knight and extensive strategies developed for their usage. That isn’t to say he neglected other fields of course, but it was the Knight’s that had his undivided attention. Winston would have shipped himself off to IUKA years sooner, if not for the intervention of his parents.

Personality:
Winston has a somewhat intense - if not unhealthy - obsession with all things military. So much to the point where nearly every subject he goes on about will involve something associated with the armed forces, even if it may make him appear somewhat socially awkward. Despite his enjoyment of the military however, Winston is far from the textbook soldier. He prefers the unorthodox approach, seeing preferred strategies and tactics as only recommendations and nothing more. On a lesser note, Winston displays no clear signs of an independent set of morals and ethics. He views what the military does as right no matter what, even if the truth is harsher than what he believes.

Name: Solomon David

Back-story:
The Scion of the proud and noble house of David, Solomon considers himself a man born cursed. Standing 5'5 at 140lbs, Sol was born sicker, smaller, and frailer than his proud warrior linage had ever considered possible. As a result much of his life has been subject to ridicule with many, including his own father, questioning validity of his birth.
From the earliest age, Solomon was driven to compete as hard as any of the other children in his caste, but the selective breeding within the Dragon caste meant that no matter how hard he trained, no matter how hard he pushed himself, he simply couldn't reach the heights the others around him could achieve. This isn't to say he was weak, indeed to an outside observer he would have been perfectly fit, but within the context of the spartan society Shinigami Terra favored, this wasn't good enough.
Solomon has sought out the Academy, and knight training in general, as a way to close the gap between his own perceived failures and his own drive, believing that if he can prove his skill in the machines he can erase the stigma against him and earn his place among the nobility.

Personality:
Solomon is defined by a crippling inferiority complex that drives him to always try to out perform everyone around him, becoming distraught when he comes across a gap in ability he can't immediately overcome. His criticisms of himself tend to extend outwards as well, as he is viciously critical of those who he sees as not giving their all and quick to jump on or exploit any perceived flaw he finds in those who show superior skill.
In short, Solomon is not generally well liked, as his competitive nature and cruel tongue, paired with the kind of egotism and elitism inherent in the Dragon Caste's upbringing tends to drive away any potential comrades which in turn only adds to his own insecurities.
In spite of all this, he attempts to conduct himself in a matter equivalent to his standing within the dragon caste, carrying himself with an air of regality

Motive for joining the academy:
To prove his value as a knight pilot. And to a lesser extent to put some space between himself and his family.

Since I have the free time, I may be posting for my twins here tonight. I didn't think I would actually have the time to play more than one. If you happen to move us along before then, I'll either retract the post, or I will extend the post immediately after to catch them up completely.

Appearance:

If someone ever saw Ellie doing sports in lighter clothes (not that she wears anything without long sleeves) they might notice that she is quite fit for her age. But before that, they would definitely see that most of her body (and a bit of her face) is covered in patches of grey skin substitute, that is commonly seen on veteran knight pilots who have suffered severe burns in combat.

( ! ) - She has no clue how to pilot a knight, nor has she ever piloted one.

Personality:

She will say her name is Ellie and talk to you as if you've known each other forever. Ask her a question about herself, and she suddenly has to be somewhere.

In class, Ellie's questions about knights are short and direct, once she knows how to achieve what she wants she quickly loses interest. "Its a tool," - she says.

Back-story:
Ellie is looking for a person who once shot a particular artillery shell. The shell that struck her father's freight train. She still remembers how moments before the explosion tore through the metal plating, Ellie's dad had placed a hand on her head saying that everything was going to be okay.

When the girl woke up on hospital bed, a nurse told her that she was found when a red Stalwart pilot brought her body to a border outpost. The shock of having a large portion of her skin replaced with a plastic substitute was quickly washed away when Ellie found out that their small merchant train had been raided by a heavily armed force. Her father's body was not found.

The loss of the head of the family did not seem to affect Ellie's older siblings as much. After the funeral, they quickly took over the family business matters as they had been taught to. Nobody found it strange that a knight squad had targeted a no-name merchant trading in home appliances. It did not sit right with Ellie. The only clue was the red Stalwart.

Under the pretense of international study, she is coming to the home of the Stalwart model - the IUKA academy.


Motive for joining the academy:
Ellie wants to find the person responsible for her father's death.
