not only are things like this necessary they are also brushed over but almost everything.
between all the owo and uwu along w the ' im different ' there are some pieces that offer an entire life story. so what is it that makes some replies so drastically different from others? now everyone knows you shouldn't use a question to grab the attention of any potential readers for it creates a weak and overused format but it has proven to be tried and true in some cases. if you were to spend anytime around a worldofpotter forum you would see somethings strange. you see well known characters from the series like, ginny and draco but i dont recall gerard way attending hogwarts but maybe it just slipped my mind. eleven year olds look like super models in the roleplay world and everyone is cool and edgy and different without any real flaws. sure they have their small 'quirks' but its never used to its full potential in writing. the closest it is ever gotten on a roleplay forum is 'oh they have two different colored eyes and they get bullied :'(" so then you go on and keep reading like ' so how has this affected the character' and it literally doesnt. they have their special trait thats a mild inconvenience that doesnt really mean anything for the story! people are afraid to make their characters plain. in my mind being the plain jane with brown hair and brown eyes who isnt particularly attractive is a hundred, maybe even a thousand times better than being the 5'2 super model with 'long curly locks'. charcter development is thrown to the wayside and you're hit with character background description dumps in the first few pieces. jeez, also if youre ever writing with another person in an rp forum *dont* include charterers' thoughts and feelings because it not only makes it difficult for me to respond to but i lack all will power within me to not say something about it. there can be a beautiful build up to the moment where the characters' entire emotional struggle and though processes battles them and their next move is truly though out but all i'm left to reply to is a character walking and saying nothing, just staring away. how am i supposed to go with that? i cannot read minds as bad as i wish i could, even in writing i cannot.
