Personality: Atlas is a calm yet brave leader. She can keep her head in almost any situation, and has a strong sense of justice. She can get loud and boisterous, though. She may seem reserved and mature at first, but once you get to know her she's funny, clever, wise and enthusiastic.


Equipment/Weapons: A holographic encyclopedia of all documented space. Two ray guns, one in a hip sheathe on the right and the other on the left. One sword, a silver rune-embedded broadsword that swings in a black sheathe at her hip. Three daggers, one in a thigh sheathe and two hidden in her boots. A wide variety of throwing knives that she keeps hidden in her gloves.

Planet From: Zurelai


Backstory: Atlas Skye was born on the mountainous and desert-filled planet of Zurelai, near the edge of the universe. She was born to a Feline male and an Angel female, thus creating a Feline Angel. She had two siblings, a little female Feline and an Angel female who was ten years older than her. She lived a happy life, learning how to fight and skirmish, read and write and speak many languages, and exploring all over Zurelai with her older sister. For a while, it seemed like nothing bad could happen. But when you tempt Fate, Fate retaliates. Atlas was on a solo exploration trip to the neighboring planet of Tavria, when Zurelai was bombed. No one survived. Atlas was devastated, and she lived amongst the ashes for three years.


Eventually, she moved to Azirien where she first heard of the Nocterra and the Void. She thought of the new space and the promise. She thought of the adventure.


She served on the Nocterra in its early years, rising up through the ranks. She grew close to the captain, a fierce middle-aged woman named Dei. But on a mission to a new planet, a raging dragonbeast killed Dei. Her Will stated clearly that the ship was to go to the first mate, and that was Atlas. Atlas began to make the plans to go into the Void, with the aid of Dei's daughter.


And now, she hopes to find true adventure in the Void. Though she's not sure if she heads toward death instead...


Other: Atlas can turn into a full on cat, but the Angel part of her makes it so that the cat always has wings. She loves Old Earth rock music, and is intrigued by mystery and adventure. She is very quick, and it seems like she can evade bullets.

Personality: Kilee is an intelligent, science-loving teenage girl. She believes that nothing just happens - everything has a reason. She is socially awkward and therefor works alone. Because she works alone, she is very independent.


Equipment/Weapons: A bronze knife, a laser gun which she invented herself and a small bottle of poison.


Purpose onboard the Nocterra: Scientist


Planet From: Lilkyr (pronounced li-ke-ru)


Backstory: Kilee was born on Lilkyr. Both her mother and father were human. When Kilee was 5, her father volunteered and was sent into the void. He never returned. Kilee was left to love with her mother. Unfortunately, when Kilee was 10, her mother died of disease and Kilee was left alone. She went to live with the neighbor, Kindlu Smith, who was a scientist. There, she learnt the art of science. When she turned 15, Kindlu sent her to work as a scientist on the Nocterra, and she has been there ever since.


Other: Kilee works in the alchemy part of the science department. She is a master of creating different potions.

Personality: Aren loves to fight, and she's a natural at it. She's talkative and boisterous, and sometimes can get a little out of hand. Her favorite thing to do is to fight, fight, and guess what, to fight! Sometimes she draws pictures, though some of them wind up being rather obscene.


Equipment/Weapons: Aren uses her teeth and her claws the most, but has two ray blasters in hip sheathes, one blaster gun across her back, and multiple other pieces of equipment that she likes to fiddle with and enhance to make them into weapons. She also has a katana that hangs from her hip most of the time.

Backstory: When Aren was young, she lived with her family on Iriul. One day, however, there was an argument. Aren's older sister and younger sister began to fight. Soon, her mother and father fought too. And then their town began to argue. And the province. And the continent. And finally, the entire planet of Iriul was caught up in a civil war. Aren was eight when that happened. Eventually, she was sick of the gunfire and raygun sounds. She ran away to Azirien, living as a gutter rat for a few years. But one day, when she was caught stealing a loaf of bread and she had to fight to get it back, a Pit Fighter Trainer by the name of Boris Rathyon noticed her. He brought her to his house, a sprawling villa in the countryside of Azirien, and taught her how to fight. Aren wanted to become a Pit Fighter, but Boris frequently reprimanded her for wanting so. He said that such a job was only worthy for slaves, and that she must hold her head high and become a real Fighter.


So Aren trained and trained, got more efficient at her Canine transformation, and lived her life. Soon, however, she received a message that Iriul had been destroyed and no one was left but her and her younger sister, Tavarmi, who was coming to Azirien to live with her. But Tavarmi never made it, a schooner of Ingardian pirates blew up her ship. Aren was sad, but not overly so. She had never really loved her family. She often told Boris that she wanted more excitement in her life, and so when Boris heard of the Nocterra he told Aren. Excited, she agreed and has just been accepted. She cannot wait to go into the Void.


Other: Aren is severely allergic to silver, if she touches it she breaks out into a very, very bad rash and is sick for many days on end.
