hi everyone! i had a plot idea that i wanted to see if there was any interest for. it centers around the alice in wonderland universe. i am looking for something dark, romantic, and full of angst like betrayal, manipulation, and moral grays.
"Wonderland has fallen under the iron grip of the Queen of Hearts. Her rule is harsh, her justice twisted, and the land has grown twisted with fear and oppression. But whispers of rebellion bloom like wildflowers — and at the center is the Mad Hatter, once a merry host of tea parties, now a scarred, battle-hardened revolutionary building a hidden army to retake Wonderland.
The Queen, ever cunning, sends her ultimate weapon: Alice, now grown, now trained. With memories of her first visit distorted by the Queen’s mind games and magic, Alice believes the Hatter has gone mad with power and must be stopped. The Queen convinces her that only Alice, the girl Wonderland once adored, can get close enough to him to deliver the final blow.
Alice infiltrates the Hatter’s strange, war-torn domain — a part of Wonderland that is crumbling, surreal, and filled with rebels. But the longer she stays, the more she questions the truth of the Queen’s tale. The Hatter isn't the tyrant she was told he was. He’s clever, unpredictable, yes, but also kind and deeply wounded. And despite everything… they begin to fall for each other.
Now Alice is caught in a deadly game: serve the Queen and break the Hatter’s heart — or betray the Queen and lose everything she thought she knew."
key themes would be enemies to lovers, undercover agent in enemy territory, moral ambiguity, tragic pasts, memory manipulation, and whimsical but dark setting. i would rather play the female alice role, while someone else plays the mad hatter. i am fine with mature themes and would rather a person who is 18+ for a partner! please dm me if interested.
